Detective Conan Special (名探偵コナン特別編 Meitantei Konan Tokubetsuhen?) manga consist of short stories written and drawn by 3 groups: Eiichi Yamagishi (one of Gosho Aoyama's assistants), Yutaka Abe and Denjiro Maru (with Takahisa Taira making the scenario), Masaru Ohta and Kazuhiro Kubota. It was serialized in grade-level learning magazine such as 4th Grader and 5th Grader since 1996. When those magazines discontinued in 2010 and 2012, the serialization was transferred to CoroCoro Ichiban!.
