That would be too risky for Conan to try. If Ran ends up asking her father about the case, it will turn out that he isn't the one to solve it (i.e not the one to make the call).

Of all the DC movies, I've only watched 6, 8, 13, 14. And 13 is still the worst in my opinion, followed by 14, than 8. Movie 6 was actually enjoyable, at least more than the other 3.

Okay can anyone tell me who is this character ? Is he an AO/movie/OVA only character ? Because I don't remember seeing him in any manga chapter. Which case was he in ? He also seems to have died. (Image copied directly from the Wiki. No copyright infringement intended.)
