Economics...how does it work?! Great series, I loved season 1. Season 2 was kinda hectic...but I mean, really, you don't watch this show for the economics/action, you're mainly watching for the interactions between the two leads - Holo and Lawrence. One of the best sexual-tension/romanticy series I've seen. Any other fans? And also...the fabled question? 'WHERE DA HELL IS 3?!' Haruhi Suzumiya...Half Life...why is three so hard to do?!

I actually liked DRRR more than Baccano - Baccano in the beginning...was just so WTF-ish that it was hard to get into. I ended up like it a lot, but I liked DRRR far more. It felt..more anime-ish, if you know what I mean. I also enjoyed the characters far more - Celty and Izaya ftw. Also, is a season 2 going to happen or not?! Why does this animation company suck so much when it comes to sequels!! Both series have critical acclaim, and a ginormous ass load of source material...MAKE IT HAPPEN.

I'm on episode 9 right now - it's pretty amazing. Maybe because it was originally a game..but it like knows its target audience so well and hits all the marks - a great scifi storyline with twists/turns/suspense. A wide net of typical character archetypes (tsundere, moe...not to mention all girls) so it pleases pretty much a lot of fans. And lastly, the references to popular nerdy culture. I saw a subbed episode where they used the Xzibit "yo I heard you like ___" meme, constant sexual innuendos, references to sciency/nerdy things like IBM/CERN/chan boards. This is why it's great.
