The lack of series in the manga/anime thread needs to be fixed. I'm a pretty big Bleach fan, the series definitely has its flaws, especially as of late, but I still enjoy it. The one thing Bleach does do right is it's characters: cool personalities and awesome development. So yup, this thread is for discussing anything bleach: battles, fave chars, current stories.. I've caught up to the manga, and this fullbring arc is really bad >_< hopefully once Ichigo gets his powers back we'll see a real arc. Also, Tite Kubo released some new fanbook thing, similar to the Conan Drill Book, that was based off the Espada, and answers a lot of questions regarding the fates of the Arrancar, including Ulquiorra and Harribel. My favorite character is Ulquiorra, some other people I like are Rukia, Grimmjow, Byakuya, Tousen, Stark, Halibel, and Zaraki.

I have high standards for a high quality show like DC, of course I'm going to be picky when the anime falters. Detective Conan had extremely good American voice actors during that one soccer player case (Ray) where he was busted for killing someone and steroids. I mean, I can understand Ran and Kogorou sucking at English, and the capabilities of Conan's seiyuu not being able to speak English well, but besides the culprit, everyone's accents could have been much better...The entire Glass family, their native tongue is English, so why do they suck?

Minerva is like the fourth most attractive girl in the entire series, which is kind of sad if you think about it. A arone timer char after 600 episodes beats like half the girls in the entire show From looks: 1. Yukiko 2. Vermouth 3. Shiho 4. Minerva of course Shiho is number 1 overall...

I've pretty much beaten at least one game per generation, except Ruby/Sapphire - I just didn't like it as much. 2nd gen is still my fave with 16 badges. Houndoom is my fave, along with Ivysaur, Blastoise, Sharpedo, Scyther, and Starraptor

NBA lockout..who has the most to gain? The San Antonio Spurz. With the oldest "big three" on any team, the Spurs can definitely use the shorter season to their advantage. With Popovich's coaching, getting a winning record will be easy for the former number 1 seed of the West - which they got, by living from the three ball and with minimal defense/post-play. Hopefully, with a shorter season, they won't have to deal with last minute injuries like with Manu this year, and be fresh. It looks like the NBA won't be starting until at least January, maybe December so they can squeeze in that Christmas game to rack in the big bucks. Also...something to note. The Spurs had the most to gain...The Players Union VP was Matt 'Red Rocket' Bonner of the Spurs. The head of the Owner's Labor Relations Commitee is Spurs owner Peter Holt. The players and the owners couldn't come up with an agreement...think about it Regarding the draft...uber weak. Kyrie Irving won't be better than even Tony Parker, which is saying something. Sports? I was always under the impression that Haibara actually liked Soccer/Football, which is the sport that we are referring to, more than Ran. Haibara seems to think that one player on Osaka(excuse me if I'm wrong, it's been a while and frankly I'm a lazy bum to look it up) shares a somewhat similar fate to her. Because of this she starts to get into soccer and become a fan of that team. Ran might possess like common knowledge of the sport due to just idle chatter and from the news, but I don't believe she shares the same passion as Ai does. The similar set of ideals is a valid point, but then again, most behaving citizens also believe in justice and determination. I'll admit that at first Ai was an ice queen, and didn't share the same sense of justice as Conan did, but she's changed a lot in this 600 episode series. She acts a lot like Conan's partner-in-crime (or rather, justice) in the later half of the series. She sometimes trusts him... there have been so many moments where Ran starts to catch on and thinks Shinichi is lying to her. The whole debacle around episode 100ish when Yukiko picks up Conan, and how Ran was seriously on the verge of unmasking Conan's identity, only to be saved by his mother. The whole cell phone deal too, around the 400ish episodes, where she tried to guess Shinichi's passcode. Ran has her suspicions, no doubt. Why do you say no? There are many times during the series, that Conan and Ai share similar and hilarious facial expressions, meaning they have the same reactions to things. Conan of course, is a mystery/deduction otaku. While Ran..for the most part respects Shinichi's hobby, she sometimes get ticked off on how much he loves Holmes/mysteries/etc. Ai, on the otherhand, finds it fascinating. When the two first met, I believe she said something along the lines of "your style of deduction/ love of mysteries is interesting" with her face only mere centimeters away from Conan's (episode 130-140ish, when the Detective Boys were at that house).
