  1. It ruined the moment that's what's wrong with it.

Did you even get my reference? I doubt you did, I'm not sure if theres a sinle person on DCW that would actually remember that even if they did read the books.

  2. And of course you had to ruin it all with that face. I was have a wonderful time reminiscing about the good ol' days. When men were real men, women were real women, and small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri were REAL small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri.

Then you ruin it with this ":V".

  3. That's right, you didn't get to see Cartoon Network at it's glory. I grew up during Toonami. Which was a time around dinner when Cartoon Network would do teenage shows. Mostly anime like Prince of Tennis, Case Closed, Dragon Ball. I mean that's how my generation was exposed to anime really.

    *sigh* those were the days.

  4. I believe it was more censored like the first season of Dragon Ball was censored, They just took out scenes and changed a little dialogue from the original japanese. Of course they probably did what DB did and also did a more crude version as well for DVDs.

  5. Good to know... that you haven't seen Lupin III. The movie with Conan isn't that bad, but the original show is weird. I watched the first episode this summer and haven't decided whether or not I actually want to go back and watch more or not. I remembered it from my childhood, when I was around 13 or 14, but I was watching the US censored version.

  6. Well, if you watch the uncensored original versions you get a lot of crude humour and nudity. Something I wouldn't really want a 12 year old to be seeing. Though you are almost 13. I don't like telling younger people about things like that because I don't know how their parents are.

    Have you seen Lupin III?

  7. No problem. Arsene Lupin was written at about the same time as Sherlock Holmes, but in France. Arsene Lupin, Gentleman Thief. I've actually yet to read any of it, but they're supposed to be like mysteries.

Oh, if you've ever seen Lupin the Third (I hope you haven't) that's who it's based from. In fact the main character is his grandson.

  8. Since you're a KID fan like I am, you should also read Arsene Lupin by Maurice Leblanc. I know that Gosho is familiar with it because he talks about him in one of the episodes.

  9. You wouldn't be alarmed, or you would gladly kill yourself to kill Moriarty.

I've noticed many similarities between DC and Sherlock, and then theres the Edogawa book similarities. And then there's Arsene Lupin being Kaitou KID himself. Of course Leblanc did write Arsene Lupin VS Herlock Sholmes, which is a battle between the two.

  10. "If I was assured of the former evenutallity I would, in the good interest of the public, cheefully accept the latter."

  11. It couldn't come back, like I said it's the same as Holmes. If Shinichi is Holmes, then the B.O. is Moriarty's crime empire. Even when Moriarty dies the rest of the crime empire would have continued to hunt down and destroy everything that Holmes cared for.

Seeing how much Gosho actually ties between books and DC I wouldn't be alarmed if it ended the same way.

  12. Yeah, I don't know how anything could be worse than the Black Organization, but you're right it wouldn't really be ending, but it wouldn't be called Detective Conan anymore. I mean there wouldn't be a Conan.

But if you were to think about it going down that road, it wouldn't make sense that the B.O. was around, for the same reason that Holmes appears to die for 3 ye...

  13. Personally I think DC should end. Now, don't yell at me, let me explain.

It should end, they should defeat the B.O. at least a little, so that he gets the antidote. Afterwards he can start to be with Ran. Now, when it ends it should start a new detective series centered around Shinichi solving cases. Maybe have an even worse thing then the B.O.

  14. Wait, wasn't that what the question was about, now I don't remember.

  15. You could say that, but it might be more cruel for them to confess to eachother. It would be a distanced relationship that would only want Ran to see Shinichi more and more. Then he would have to take more antidote pills and only get a higher and higher tolerance. Eventually he wouldn't be able to change back and never be with Ran ever again.

  16. Yeah, but it was the best explanation of how his face was so familiar, I mean it's not like there could be another doppleganger like KID. A mask would have been too noticable.

Still, I like the car case that happens afterwards, it's intriguing how that worked.

  17. It is rather obvious that he didn't, but it's figuring out how they made it look like he did. All I needed to know was why I had all of the how. It's always fun figuring them out, except for when someone says something completely obvious, like saying that the person was murdered, even though all the police said was that he was dead.

  18. Yeah, I figured out most of it. Not all the backstory and reasoning behind what happens, but I figured out what was going on.

And then theres the case afterwards, now that one actually tricked me.

  19. That was a good one, you've seen it before haven't you?

  20. Which ones, the one with Heiji in the beginning. The one where they go to the town and Shinichi is the murderer, or do you want me to watch the London one again.

  21. Was that a question or a statement?

Are you asking me if he did, then no.

If you are saying that's what you're watching, that's cool.

  22. I just finished the episodes when KID returns the Ryouma stuff. Now I'm reading Magic Kaito. After that I'm not sure what I'll do. Probably go watch more DC.
