I just got back from Aikido, and I learned how to dodge a jab and use the person's weigh to flip them. Who should I try this on...?

A fast jab to distract is what we were taught about, meaning I could use it on any style, as long as I pivot off the red line (Balance Point) and use the attacker's pulling momentum.

That is what you think. Fast jab, I assume you mean front hand lead. That does not account for all styles. That accounts for a particular style, one which focuses on shifting on the balance point. There are styles that sue the balance point as the point of attack by constantly shifting it, which means you have less time than it takes to get off a second punch to neutralize. You also have to take into account an experienced fighter wouldn't allow for his center of gravity to be disrupted ...

... so easily. Aikido is dependent on being able to effectively use the opponent's energy against them, which not all styles use. There are many martial arts in the world that use different mechanics to produce different results. (sorry, I've done martial arts for far too long... 16 years)
