You should read Tantei Gakuen Q. Or better yet, watch its drama~ ... Other than that one, I'd recommend One Piece and Fairytail, which are popular, Claymore, which is awesome, and Ranma 1/2, which is goofy and full of action.

The one who was casual and didn't act like it ended up being the one who did... and he graduated so I never asked him about it. But I didn't actually like either one of them, so it's probably a good thing I didn't mention it, it would've just made it awkward... I actually met somebody like a week ago who I'm kinda interested in, but I dunno if he's just being polite. I was at a meeting the first time I've gone, so everybody else knew each other, and after he got there and I made a couple of jokes, he introduced himself with a handshake and smile~ Then when everybody was leaving he came over and said he hoped I'd come to the next meet and gave me a pat on the back. I think he was probably just being nice cuz I was a newbie there, so is that it? Cuz he was super-nice.
