I try to find the good in people, despite how I feel towards them. The only thing that's stupid is what you just said. I'm sure that you are smart in some (if not more) aspects of your life. Trust me, the ones who are truly stupid are those who are in denial about their stupidity. So you should just keep your head up and learn from your mistakes rather than dwelling on them.
