It might let us know more about shinichi and whether he would a suitable partner for Haibara..(totally not a connection to main topic attmept)

LOL yeah I'm guessing they will be careful with that next time considering the amoun of complaining fans do about that, expecially after how exagerated it was in the 17th movie.

LOL, I can never remember her name xD But yes hope so too! Plot twists contribute with like 50% to the quality of a story for me.

Their music is just not for me, so I just feel neutral towards them, with the occational annoyance when a fan of their calls me a "hater" or to "shut the F*** up" for saying that. But I guess you can't judge a whole crowd based on a couple of idiots...

Yea the chance of that happening is not that large, but I still hope he does not give us very predicted couples. I mean Shinishi&Ran, Kazuha&Heji, Kaito&the Ran-lookalike, sato&takagi, and so on...don't you think it would be a bit boring? I would like to see some unexpected characters ending up with for example Haibara and Gin, and some people changing/losing their romatic interest or something. Otherwise it be completely drama-free and stiff in a way, even for a non-drama anime.

I used to see that Minho guy a lot on Youtube videos so it was a shock to see him in the movie. I do think they chose well, I like his role and acting.

Oh gosh...that was so painfull to watch partly because of how cheezy it was and also because the music pretty much forced you to be sad. And hey, the DBs and sonoko and (and basically all charachters that are not Shinishi, FBI or BO memebers, according to Balthazar ) can be pretty annoying but the movies would be too concentrated without them, if you know what I mean. You've gotta have some stupid and annoying and a sprinkle of pointless in every movie to make the good part continue to be good and not turn boring as well.

But then again Gosho has never been a guy with predicted plots. Most major cases tend to have a number of plot twists. The question is if that goes for the romatic part DC as well. I kind of hope so.The ending of Naruto and all the random couples that formed makes it easy to believe in the chances of that. I mean Sasuke and Sakura..? did not see that coming.

The movie was OK..I kept thinking why some events did not make sence or were not explained. But maybe the answers will be given in the end? I don't know, but it felt like a bunch of random events thrown together with no connections or explainations. Would you recommend the book if it makes things clearer? (very lazy reader lol)

Completely agree that Jodie/Akemi resemble Ran. The first in waiting and the latter in character. Still, I wonder if Gosho will make it as simple as Jodie+Akai and Shinishi+Ran. I find that interesting...

Kimi ni todoke....it was painfull to watch such a whiny and long anime. I did enjoy the role of a couple of characters though.

Hmm but wouldn't that mean that ShinRan wouldn't work as well? (because they BOTH have the light/nice/childish/whatever behaviours. Therefore I could see Akai and Shiho being together, depednign on the angle gosho gives us of them. He could make them connect with eachother in a way that is not as weird/disfunctional as we would guess. On another note...let us not forget tat there is not just one guy named Akai. He might be the perfect match for her, if it's a completely new character..
