Until the videos get put up (if they ever do) my suggestion is to use DCTP's ConanTV, YouTube, or AnimeCrazy. You don't have to sign up on any of them to watch stuff.

I don't really pick favorites or non-favorites, but I have to say that ''Jolly Roger in the Deep Azure'' was the worst. Essentially, they took an idea for an AO 1 hr special and stretched it out over two hours. In other words: it was boring. At least the others I can sit through more than once. If they'd used the overall idea for Movie 11 in an AO, people might have liked it more, as there wouldn't be so many boring filler scenes. Feel free to disagree.

Is it just me, or does the movie seem like a combination of different fanfictions all mashed together, just without the BO being defeated in the end. Granted, the movie was good, but after reading so much fanfiction, it seems kind of repetitive. Plus, having characters only show up once or twice is never a good sign. But like I said, I still liked it.

Personally, I completely enjoy this new opening sequence. The Akai vs. Scar Akai, the appearance of almost everyone significant, and the catchy music. Although, I think it's safe to say that a certain new manga character won't make their transition to the anime during the course of this opening, though I could be wrong. I'm just basing this off of the fact that Haibara, Chianti, Korn, and Kir all made their debuts in the openings before the episode they debuted in aired. The character in question (no names b/c I don't want to spoil anything for anime only fans) does not appear, so this opening will completely pass before they even consider introducing the new character.

My favorite movie is the third one, The Last Wizard of the Century. I particularly enjoy the chase at the beginning with Heiji and Conan going after Kid. And Ran finding out Conan is Shinichi never gets old to me, especially since it only happens occasionally (and none anymore). Another reason I like this movie is that I actually ENJOY the English Dub as much as the Japanese subs. Maybe I'm weird, but I'm sticking to it. Second favorite might be the eighth, Magician of the Silver Sky, or the fourth, Captured in her Eyes. Can't decide.

Greetings to all of you! I just wanted to propose a single overall format for the individual manga volume pages on the wiki. Essentially, each case should look something like this: Name of Case: (EX. Roller Coaster Murder Case) Link to corresponding anime episode. Characters Introduced: Pictures and Descriptions Gadgets Introduced: Pictures and Functions List of all files related to that case. Summary of case. Should include how it starts out, and evidence obtained throughout. Resolution and Solution of case should be in a spoiler box. Aftermath of case should be after the spoiler box, but outside it. Summary itself shouldn't be too detailed, as we want people to buy the volumes. Reading on the wiki should be no substitute to reading the manga. Anyways, that's my proposed format. I've already fixed up most of the Volume One page to this format. Anyone who doesn't like it can revert to a past version of the page, but please check it out BEFORE doing that. My proposal is that we use this format for all the cases in the manga, as it's simple and easy to follow. And a wiki about a manga this good should be uniform to make for easy reading. So what do you all think? I'll continue to use this format, but if others help me out, that'll be awesome!

Thanks for the info! I'll be sure to put it to use! As to the name of the thread, it could be something like, "Need a Certain Video Format?" or something. It doesn't matter to me, but it should be something along those lines. Now I can watch DC in style!

In response to who Heiji likes canonically, I think it's quite obvious that he likes Kazuha. As to who I prefer, I see no problems with the pairing as of now, but that's just my opinion. As to the two of them being a copy of ShinRan, I don't think that's completely true. After all, Shinichi knows Ran loves him, but Heiji's clueless about Kazuha. So the relationship is just a little different. It's the same with Kaito and Aoko.

I apologize for the confusion: it's a complete coincidence that this thread shares a name with another one. Also, thanks to those who answered my question about MKV. files. My new question is if RAR. and OGM. files are playable on Windows Media Player, RealPlayer, or VLC Player. Also, as I'm so new, I don't know how to change the title of this thread. Is it possible? Anyone else can post anything for themselves too, you know! It's not just about me!

I was looking through the wiki, and I had this idea. We all know that Dr. Agasa makes Conan special inventions or upgrades his stuff in movies only. I was just thinking that maybe we could separate manga-based and movie-based inventions into separate sections. I also think we should catalogue whenever an upgrade is made to something. Gadgets to add: the telescopic lenses on Conan's glasses, solar skateboard battery that lets it run at night, skateboard upgrade that lets it move fast in Movie 10, the transmitters that Conan's glasses can track, to name just a few. Also, for the characters, characters that appear on the main character page should be removed from the minor characters page. And people that show up in keyholes, but only have appeared once to date, shouldn't be lumped in with everyone else. I'm sorry if I sound a little OCD. I just wanted to throw this out there, since the last time I tried to add a gadget to the list, the gadget and description got deleted by someone. Same with adding characters. Maybe I have bad luck?

I don't really know if I'm supposed to post something like this, but I'm doing it anyways. If it's against site codes or something, please remember I'm new before booting me off. Anyways, the point of this topic is for users to ask about how to get certain episodes in a certain format. Like getting Episodes 121-122 in AVI. format. Gosho Aoyama's Short Stories (all) All need to be in AVI., MP4., or some other format compatible with Windows Media Player, as I don't have a credit card and I can't buy anything better. Subs can be crappy, but need to be English and be easily readable. And please don't tell me to watch them online, as I've already decided to download all of them. If I come up with more, I'll post. Note: I'm posting this AFTER I've thoroughly scoured DCTP's website, along with many others. So don't send me to the giant list in DCTP's Media section. I've already checked. Many thanks to all!

From the current time, I'd have to place a guess at at least two years. Probably more, knowing how Gosho drags stuff on. After all, we have to complete the Bourbon arc, and then there's the Boss arc. Maybe something in the middle. All in all, it's guaranteed we'll have more for the next two years. Maybe it'll last until I'm out of college! (I'm not in college yet)

Personally, I'd have to go with Sonoko, for obvious reasons. She's loud, obnoxious, and a good way to scare off guys. The kids have an excuse, so I don't really hate them. And of course Kogoro gets annoying for not listening to Conan. (You'd think that after 600 episodes he'd realize that Conan is a valuable asset. Though he does realize this sometimes, it never lasts.) Other than that, I can't think of anyone else I hate right now.
