The chick has two parents who aren't living with each other, a "boyfriend" who's running off all the time, a horn on the side of her head, is constantly seeing dead bodies, and is like a maid in her own home. I... don't think anybody envies her. XD

I don't bash. If I were bashing...Then I'd be saying things like "She's stupid. She's ugly. Oh she's a *Bleep*". XD (Look at people bash Kagome and/or Kikyo from Inuyasha sometime. THAT is BASHING. XD) I'm stating flaws in their character and as to why they really shouldn't have as big a fan-base as they do. Yes. I do get tired of it. Because people don't understand. They don't really see what I'm saying although I try and explain it the best I can, so yes. It does get annoying. I don't know whether or not I'm just not explaining it well enough or what. I've said it many different ways so it's not like I'm saying the EXACT same thing over and over again. :???: And I'm not the only person to speak like this anyways. Nobody bats an eyelash if it's somebody talking like that about a minor character but when somebody speaks like I am about a protagonist have mercy on their soul. LOL xD Look, from where I'm standing, every couple has pros and cons and to me, AyuCon has more pros. I'm pointing out flaws that nobody really notices that don't apply to AyuCon- thus stating an argument for it. XD I don't mean to sound harsh- and I'm trying to get better at it. That's what counts, right?

I don't think so. It could end as AyumixConan as well. I'd like to remind you that love has no limits and that Gosho wouldn't keep hinting at AyuCon if it wasn't going to happen. My guess is that they'll e separated (or Ran will die lol jk). It's also very likely for Shinichi and Ran to be separated, too, mind you. WHO CARES IF THEY'RE TEN YEARS APART? What is the difference between a 40-year-old and a 50-year-old? REALLY! XD You cannot say that Ayumi's feelings aren't the same as Ran's. Love comes at all ages, in all shapes and sizes. I don't think it's just as a little sister. Why would Gosho keep stressing it then that Ayumi has a crush on him and why would he keep making Conan place his hand on Ayumi's shoulders or keep saying things like "Please be alright...Ayumi!" (which I've heard Inuyasha say about Kagome, to give you an idea of what that exactly can say). If he wasn't going to have a romantic relationship with her then why in the world would those moments keep popping up? She's not annoying- she's cute. And she's way less annoying than most children out there and more mature so... yeah no. XD (And no, I don't want to see that. I don't think anybody who supports AyuCon wants to see that. Therefor nobody here who likes them. )

She can understand better than Ran can. XD She can see things from his point of view that Ran can't. She understands why he likes being a detective. She knows the feeling. Ran doesn't. I don't think Ran understands one thing about him. ^^' All she really understands is that Shinichi wants to be a detective and that solving cases means a lot to him. That's as far as those thoughts go. Chemistry? What chemistry? XD And we cannot determine that Conan doesn't have feelings for her. You cannot say that he does not have feelings for her. Unless he openly says to Ayumi's face "No, I do not like you" then that cannot be said. XD The chances are not small. Once again, Gosho is a master of surprise. It's not very uncommon for the couple everybody expects to be together in an anime to not end up together in the end. (I've seen people complain and whine and throw their arms everywhere several times about an anime while reading comments on mixed anime AMV's.) They really are signs of attention- and calling to somebody by their first name without an honorific in Japan means that the person is very VERY close to you. It should NOT be taken lightly.... and yes. You'd RATHER take it as brotherly feelings because you don't like the couple. XD It's natural, though. ... Dude. He chased after a man in a black suit after just solving a murder that took place on a RIDE in an AMUSEMENT PARK and he was fed a drug- not killed instantly- FED A DRUG and was TURNED INTO A KID. Separating them, while unrealistic, is very likely. I think that Conan does have romantic feelings towards her. Look at it from Gosho's perspective. If she didn't have a chance then why in the world would he continue to place these moments in there for them? The chances are not very dim- at all. Separating Shinichi and Conan is the only way to REALLY give everybody a happy ending- and you know how Gosho loves his happy endings.

Welcome! I know that feeling when you first join something. It sometimes can be hard to tell exactly how strong you're being but everybody learns. Welcome!

Okay. Then name them. The only possible stereotype I could think of for Kazuha is tsundere and that does not really apply to her at all. XD That's the pairing- not Kazuha. So what if her romantic relationship is overused? That doesn't mean she is. Ordinary? Really? I don't think so. XD Her best friend is the famous "Detective of the East" her mother is a lawyer who is living separately but still married to her father, who is an alcoholic and she herself is a black-belt that COMES from a family of black-belts. XD I don't think she's normal. She's just not special- she's not as much of a god as everybody makes her out to be is what I was saying. XD She is not that strong at all, actually. There are wives every day that have to constantly live without their husbands at home with them going on business trips constantly who don't shed a tear even if they're dying on the inside with them being gone. THAT is STRONG. XD Ran isn't even married to the guy- let ALONE dating him. XD And sure he's been gone a long LONG time to us because the series has been on for so long, but to her he's only been gone... a couple of months? Maybe three? And how many times has she cried? She's not very strong at all, to me. It is very very easy to continue being sensitive. It's harder... much MUCH harder to keep yourself from crying until you absolutely need to. Ayumi is an adorable little girl who has a lot of loyalty to boy at such a young age who has courage to face what millions of other kids would develop nightmares from seeing. She stands by Conan even when he doesn't give her attention- even when he's a jerk. And she still has that loving adorable nature that makes her all the cuter. Kazuha is a strong-willed woman on the outside who breaks down once you get closer to her (which is why I said possibly tsundere) but she has a willful spirit and determination I think that a lot of tsunderes lack. Oh, and for it to be a true childhood friendship cheesy overdone shibang, they would have to live next door to each other, they would have to talk every night through their windows, they would have to have a little promise they made at childhood (the chains are not a promise. It is a safety net for Kazuha to make herself feel better about all of the other girls that he likes to look at, I'm sure. XD) they would have to be separated and reunited again years later or grew up and the girl kicks his butt out of bed every morning. Of course they do. A lot of the time people will like a character they think is like them. They will develop a liking for this character because it remind them of themselves. This way, whenever somebody disrespects or insults their favorite they will lash out in a violent rage. XD lol I prefer the old hairstyle to the new one. The old one was much MUCH cuter and it would take away a little bit of my irritation with her. I prefer it when their hairstyle doesn't change mid-way through a series or at the very beginning. It's like having that one character who ran off to get some firewood and never came back. I liked both of Kagome's hairstyles. Neither were too crazy or annoying. Heaven knows why he put a freaking HORN on Ran's head! XD Yukiko is on my list because she's funny, cute, and she's a fantastic driver. Shinichi could have also gotten his arrogance from solving so many cases and how much he accomplished, you know. And no, you're not the only one who finds it hilarious. I laughed my butt off for a good couple of minutes non-stop. XD

Ayumi, Sato, Vermouth... Ai is cute but.. no. That... that that THING on Ran's head just... no. No. She's okay without that horn but with it just... just no. OH! Sonoko is pretty too! ^^ Kazuha, though, I think is prettiest.

My list: 1. Kazuha 2. Heiji 3. Ayumi 4. Mitsuhiko 5. Aoko 7. Kaito 8. Yukiko 9. Sato 10. Koboyashi-sensi (sp?) Why no Ai? Stoic characters are overused and they annoy me. Everybody gives them way too much attention. There are millions and MILLIONS of girls out there like her. Yuki Nagato, Zakuro Fujiwara- and their fans always act like that character does not get enough attention. It's just... blasphemy. Why no Ran? Look, the chick gets way too much attention for NOTHING. She's not special in anything besides karate and people treat her like god. And she has that god awful horn on her head that makes me suspicious of her gender... Why no Shinichi? He's a pessimistic, arrogant, irritable jerk who needs to learn how to treat another human being with respect no matter WHAT the age. Why no Conan? Same reason as Shinichi. Why no Hakuba? Ehhh he's just not that interesting to me. He's alright. He'd probably be a runner up. XD

1. It's better to stand up and tell them that you won't lose him without a fight than to act like everything's okay only to burst out in anger later because you held back for so long. 2. True. Very true. XD 3. To me she was acting possessively and rather venomously to both that entire time. XD Ran really did not have a right to get angry at Shinichi because he was seeing a girl. She was not his girlfriend. She was far too angry and far too easy to piss off further because Shinichi was seeing another girl. I don't think it was all just because he lied. She may have been hurt by that but I think it was definitely more so about the chick. Also, Ran was pissy at typically anybody, though. She doesn't know that Conan is Shinichi. Kazuha is just pissy towards the girl and Heiji. She KNOWS where to direct her anger. Ran throws it at anybody and anyone. She wanted to confront him and the girl, I'm sure. It takes two to tango. XD Point is Ran was just being jealous because she had feelings for him. There was no proof this girl was seeing him. The was no proof that that was where Shinichi had been and she was just going on the suspicion that a girl was seeing him. 4.But we see that Shinichi is not interested in the game Heiji was playing at the beach, which leads us to believe that Shinichi was the same way but to a lesser extent. Just because he knows ran has feelings for him does not mean that he won't look at other girls and think dirty. That's the way most teenage boys are. Heck, there are fully grown married MEN who will look at other women. And if he is who he LOOKS like he was before shrinking, I seriously doubt he didn't find it interesting at least. Heiji is always that way. Kaito... well Aoko knows he's hot and knows he'll have fangirls but because she doesn't know he's KID she's the only one that gets her skirt flipped by him which means she won't worry about competition. I'm pretty sure Shinichi wasn't flipping girl's skirts. Aoko is not a very jealous person- Ran is. XD They don't have all that similar of a relationship because Aoko seems to trust Kaito WAY more than Ran trusts Shinichi when Ran has less reason to be jealous. 5. I doubt Ran would be able to befriend a person who "stole" Shinichi from her. XD lol She would make acquaintances and try to be friendly with the girl, yes but making friend with the woman I doubt. XD And it's not fair to say that about Kazuha. It is far easier to argue and confront a girl who is giving you negative feelings than to confront the boy who makes you nervous enough WITHOUT you planning on confessing. It isn't that easy. 6. Take away the fact that it's a comic and look at all of the comic relief moments. Those are still moments that contribute to her character. That is basically what Kazuha was saying, though. She was challenging Ran in her first appearance, not threatening her. She was saying that if Ran wanted him bad enough to break down their chains, even though it would NOT be easy, then she could accept her. Kazuha also tends to smile and worry. She's done it several times, hasn't she? Shinichi would probably accept another guy taking Ran if the guy wanted her bad enough. He would make the guy's life a living h^^l before he'd let her go, but he would eventually give in. What makes her happy makes him happy, and Kazuha has that view about Heiji, too. It's very easy to like her if you can see that Ran is not much better by any standards. Ran has less to be worried about (even if Shinichi is secretive, he's still loyal) while Kazuha has more and she STILL gets more pissed than Kazuha does. Kazuha is a fantastic, well written character who makes way more sense than a lot of the characters in DC- she's far more real than Ran is, th'ats for sure. :grin:
