I kinda dislike Shinichi. ^^' He is sort of a jerk. XD Conan has the DB and a "big sister" and two loving parents and police officers at his every beck and whim. XD In short I think Conan has grown while whenever he's Shinichi he seems to just kinda... forget what he's learned as Conan. (I'd prefer it if he never WENT back to Shinichi, actually. ^^') I don't want funny, either. The DB are his friends and they'd cry if Conan just up and left whether they knew he was Shinichi or not. He's making the conscious decision to leave them and if I were in their position even if he DID try and "be my friend" after he left like that I'd give him the cold shoulder. It'd just be... insulting. That's why I'll be outraged if Gosho doesn't separate Conan and Shinichi.

I know but it just wouldn't be the same. To me, Conan is their friend, not Shinichi. XD

Both of my parents were just fine with it growing up. In fact, most of my dad's friends were into anime and manga as well. My mom knows/knew practically every anime I've watched and both of them always know what anime I'm currently into. However, my dad always seemed to walk in while I was watching AMV's when it got to something like Honey Flash. T_T Good thing he always just laughed his butt off and went to go tell my mom "Do you SEE what she's WATCHING? XD".

Ayumi. She is too freaking adorable. Mitsuhiko- he's so CUTE! x3 I just wanna hug him and squeeze him and kill him with love! Heiji, of course. I'm a Heiji fangirl. ^^' Kazuha- sh'es awesome. Takagi is such a sweet man. If I were in DC he'd probably be the man I'd go for. :grin: lol Sato because she's.... Sato. And Vermouth because she's slightly less evil than the rest. :-)

Exaggerating? No. Ai is far more cautious than Conan is and I'm not saying their child would be troublesome. I'm saying it would be confused moral-wise and not know what to do in important life or death situations or just day-to-day situations. If you have two parents with the same morals the child will not be confused. And yes, they do. Watch episode 472. You will see that Ayumi and younger Ran have very much in common thus the theory that Ayumi will grow up to be similar to Ran in many ways. And so what if I'm a fan? I came up with a valid argument and you don't have anything to argue back with. What are you saying?

Because they're better fit together than Ai and Conan are. :grin: But in all seriousness... AiCon wouldn't work out. Haibara and Conan would not be good together in my eyes. Just.... no. They don't share the same morals, first of all. Haibara, if a man walked into a bank in front of her, robbed it and killed somebody on the way out, would simply call the cops and play it safe. CONAN, however, would run RIGHT AFTER that penniless (or now that he robbed a bank very rich) murderer and knock him down. You see, Ayumi would do the same thing as Conan and follow him while Haibara would no. This makes Ayumi more compatible moral-wise than Haibara to him. Ayumi and Conan would raise a child to believe they should chase after that criminal. Haibara and Conan would raise that poor child to be confused and misguided. XD They wouldn't know WHAT to do or WHO to listen to if a somebody robbed a bank and killed someone in front of them. Listen to Mommy or listen to Daddy? Hmmm....? That would tear the poor little thing apart! (Unless, of course, he/she already HAS a favorite which would not be a good sign...). Likewise, Mitsuhiko would be on Haibara's side and their kid would be raised to lay back, call the cops, and hope for the best. This makes Mitsuhiko more compatible moral-wise for Haibara than Conan. Now to the second issue with AiCon- Conan would be reminded of being poisoned, shot, knocked out, the fear he felt and all the lies he had to give and all that he was forced to leave behind whenever he's with her. I don't think he'll ever be able to see her as a romantic partner when she, on some level, RUINED HIS LIFE. Ayumi, at least, resembles Ran in a very strong way such as her popularity, her morals, her looks, her fears, and her reactions. He would probably get more of a nostalgic feeling and not feel like he lost as much. He would still be reminded of it every once in a while, but Ayumi is not a PRIMARY SOURCE of his pain like Haibara is. Mitsuhiko, also, has NOTHING against Haibara and wouldn't have any problem seeing her as a romantic partner. Now, to the third point. Haibara ALSO has very little in common with Conan. Besides soccer and being shrunk and living in fear out of the same organization, they have NOTHING. Haibara, while once temporarily interested in detective work, ultimately chose science. Conan doesn't CARE for science although it is needed to be a detective. If he didn't need it to do his job he'd probably have no interest in it. Once they both got home neither would be all that interested in their work. MITSUHIKO, though, is a very smart boy and knows a LOT for his age. He seems to know plenty of scientific facts and often shows interest in things that would lead us to believe he'll be a scientist or something related in the future. Ayumi as well is interested in detective work so that gives you a clu as to future jobs she may take up. For all we could know Conan'll be a private detective and she'll be in Sato's spot. XD She has shown no real interest in him and he obviously has had no real interest in her so far. Haibara has been hinted to have feelings for Mitsuhiko. (I have already posted this ONCE in the AyuCon thread... now here. :grin: )

Mainly because, to me, that's like saying "Oh I'll just choose to leave you guys behind and you HAVE to be okay with that. Now go ahead and follow in my footsteps and maybe I'll pay some attention to you! " and that thought just makes me cringe and want to slap Shinichi hard in the face. XD (I already want to do that ANYWAYS, though.....)

I'm happy Gosho drops little hints like that all the time in the actual series as well.... ^w^ Oh one of these days the other xConan fans won't know what hit 'em! :grin: Then Ayucon will just BE there- all up in their faces! XD lol

XD Ayumi has already established that she likes Conan- she has LITERALLY stated "That's why I love you, Conan!" before. And while people here in America say that all the time to their friends in such, if you throw that together WITH her kissing him on the cheek, and hugging him, and crying over him, and getting jealous then it shows she has romantic feelings for him. Conan has been hinted to have romantic feelings towards Ayumi in episodes before. If Conan didn't have romantic feelings for her in any way at all then why would Gosho explore Ayumi's feelings the way he does through Conan grabbing her by her shoulders or grabbing her hand or comforting her OR BY HIM CALLING AYUMI BY AYUMI INSTEAD OF AYUMI-CHAN IN HIS HEAD?! :grin: lol If you wanted Ayumi to mean nothing to the protagonist romantically or just be there to be cute then why in the world would you see a reason to further push their relationship in these ways? I wish for Conan to FINALLY REALIZE HE HAS SOME SORT OF ATTRACTION TO AYUMI. I wish for Ai to betray Ayumi's trust by some big accident involving her and Conan- thus throwing Mitsuhiko and Ayumi into fits of rage, depression, and annoyance. I wish for Ai to kiss Mitsuhiko. :grin: I want for Heiji to get jealous WITH REASON this time at a possible candidate for Kazuha's love. I want for Ran to.... kick the bucket... and for Conan to go completely insane, loose all his morals and prepare to jump off a building only to be stopped by the DB. I want for there to be an episode based on nothing but the DB and their suspicions of Conan being Shinichi. I DON'T want for Ran to figure out he's Shinichi... EVER. I want Conan to get jealous when Ayumi stops giving him attention. I want Genta to get tired of eel rice. XD I want more AyuCon and MitsuAi. <3
