Hey, it's a good thing you found out now instead of drawing it out and then being super brokenhearted later on. Glad you're over him. It's so easy to get over guys that are not who you thought they were. I dated this guy mostly through college, and then he dumped me finals week of senior year. I was livid. I was having a hard time getting over him that summer, but I started dating someone else, and then my ex begged me to visit him. When I got down there (school was 700 miles away and I needed to be in that state anyway for something), I found out he had been dating a former friend of mine, and was leading her on, and then started hitting on me really strongly. I forced a lot of information out of him, and found out everything I thought he was, was actually a lie. Suddenly it was really easy to get over him! lol

It's better for a story to be concise and to the point, instead of drawing it out unnaturally. I can't see how Madoka could have been much longer without feeling forced.

I find it hard to put myself in the shoes of a bigot. Back on topic, since this thread started I began to like an online friend that is from an area nearish me, and I confessed how I feel, and since he at least somewhat feels the same, we get to flirt openly. I always used to joke that I was going to be a cougar when I got older, because I have a tendency to date guys a few years younger than me, and the older I get, the larger the gap becomes. As someone else pointed out, age differences only really matters when you're a teenager and maybe early 20's, and it's simply just life experience. My friend is 7 years younger than me, so...
