  1. Good good, reading the forums! You?

  2. Has anyone ever argued for Andre Camel? He still creeps me out and strikes me as incredibly untrustworthy. I'm wracking my brain to try and remember if there was any resolution to him telling Jodie he was calling his wife when he isn't married.
  3. There is no way Shinichi is going to stay as Conan. Aoyama is a good writer/storyteller, and he's going to know the basic principles of storytelling. The entire thing whittles down to Shinichi defeating the Black Org, (Man versus Man [or many men..]) and getting his body back (Man versus... I have no idea what this qualifies as. Man versus Nature?? Man versus Science? Man versus Fate? I could argue them all, tbh). If he stayed as Conan, it would essentially be ignoring a huge portion of the story, and that means the story actually wouldn't be over. Considering how excellently Aoyama has handled sectioning off cases and whatnot into the pacing that he has, I don't see him not giving it a decisive and clear cut ending. Something this long HAS to have an actual, unarguable ending. Pass Go, get your cookie, save the princess, everyone goes home. Why wouldn't he? I could have sworn Haibara said she wanted to stay a child to have her second chance, but was that in a movie or something non-canon? I have some serious doubts about Shinichi bringing this up in open court. Not only did he most likely break some laws by masquerading as a child, finding out about something that can literally alter your age would cause huge social ramifications, and he and Haibara will most likely try and let that research die. This is assuming anyone believes it if it did come up. Though I wonder, does the Black Org even still have enough evidence of it? Haibara has the disk, did she destroy stuff in the lab? I can't remember if we would even know that. I imagine if any of the Black Org managed to make it alive to court, (that is going to be one huge fire fight, and most of them probably would suicide before surrender), it would mostly be about them murdering all kinds of people, and less about their research.
  4. Is there a way to make the hashtag be the way it's picked up on their account? For instance, my FB will pick up my Twitter post if I put #facebook (or #fb, I haven't used it in a while) at the end. Is there a way/desire to somehow incorporate Tumblr? Maybe the beginning of posts or something? (Twitter does this, too) I don't know if this has ever been discussed or would even be possible, but there's a lot of active fans over there...
  5. If that is a real poster... I was hoping Shinichi was going to be on it. I feel like with these not being canon, they're wasting a huge opportunity to have him show up as himself for most of the movie, and doing some of his fancy footwork since it is his favorite sport/other talent. Yes, it's Detective Conan, but we see Conan all the time, and bombing cases are dime a dozen now. They're really going to have to work to make this unique. :\
  6. I'm going to assume this has something to do with the names, and I only know 2 things in there, so I got nothing. For mine... Ahhhhhhhh you guys keep seeing things I never intended, it's so cool. It was creepy with the unintended katakana that turned out to be an actual clue. XD So uh, should we move this to the game board then?
  7. I know overall it's still TV, but Law & Order does a good job at showing the human side of being a detective. I cannot begin to count the times they were working on a case non stop for days at a time, running on empty and drinking coffee like no tomorrow, pawing through boxes and boxes of papers to find the one bit if information they were looking for... and that's me just thinking of SVU, I know it's happened a lot more on the flagship show, since it was on for ages. They also show you the dates, and if you pay attention, sometimes months go by. Now that I think about it, Cold Case was pretty good about that, too.
  8. Someone went in an screwed around with the Kaitou Kid page. I would edit it myself, but tbh I've never edited a wiki so I really don't want to botch it. eta: it was fixed days ago.
  9. Only if by digital money you mean Paypal or Google Wallet. I can do it on anything glass though, if you're underage, since parents might be not thrilled about shot glasses. XD

  10. Hihi! I'm making Kaitou Kid shotglasses :D

Yeah, I should find the post on DCTP or something. I know there was a lawsuit a while ago, but I'm inclined to say I remember it not being 100% illegal? I usually borrow games from my friends, so it's not any different. ahahaha I hope it is in this format too, because I haate emulators for the DS. It's hard to lay in bed with my laptop like I do with my DS.

Will I be able to put it on my R4? Crossing my fingers~
  13. Luna breaks down with a teary confession as the detective makes their deductions. "She never appreciated him! It started with a fight and... escalated from there." You guys are both correct! Ahahaha, and like all culprits, I inadvertently left clues I did not even know about. I threw a few things around, such as it being the 7th, and Monday (Moon day) being the 10th, (the dying message was an incomplete 10), and pearls being associated with the moon and Cancer, which is ruled by the moon and also starts at the end of June. I had my IRL friend, who isn't a DC fan, take a look at it, and he said it looked like a "LU" to him. I love that it's similar to ル, I plan on learning Japanese but I've barely started so I had no idea. ahahahaha
  14. Don't let their all black scare you. Most of my clothes are black, I have a thing for long coats, and wearing my sunglasses at inappropriate times. Ignore that compound bow in the corner. I'm convinced Gin is soulless, and for the rest? Some of them seem very normal. I have no idea why they're in the BO. Bills to pay, I guess??
  15. I've never made one of these before, and I really wanted to try it out. Aoyama makes it look so easy but wow it's not. I don't know if it's easy or hard, but all the suspects are suspicious! Let me know what you guys think, and try and work out the guilty person! ~~~ On Friday the 7th of June, at 6:05 PM, Eliza Williams was found murdered in her livingroom. She was sprawled out, and a great struggle had taken place before she was stabbed 4 times by a knife from her own kitchen. Her friends found her, after opening the unlocked door, as they were to have a small get together that evening. Next to her body, she had managed to smear, in her own blood, a dying message. Photo of the dying message: Clutched in her other hand were 3 pearls from her necklace which seemed to have broken during the struggle. Next to her was a half ripped up photo of a couple, clearly in a romantic embrace. The woman in the photo is Ms. Williams. In the kitchen, the victim had clearly been preparing a meal for her guests. She was in the middle of chopping carrots, which is where the knife originated. Next to that on the counter were 4 glasses, a pitcher with sangria and melting ice, a few half prepared dishes (cooked food, etc), 2 coffee cups half filled with now cold coffee, an half full bottle of milk, and other various kitchen things. One of the friends who found her is the culprit. Who is it? The friends are as follows: Mitch Colbert Emily Dixon Luna Stuart ~~~ lol I edited one of the names, and realize I unconsciously made it into a Daily Show homage. Whoops?
  16. The route of this problem is how animation and voice acting is perceived in American culture. Only in the last say, 5 to 10 years have people in both fields really seem to get some respect coming their way, and even then, it's like molasses in January. Cartoons are viewed as only for children, and voice actors are perceived as not being able to cut it as normal actors... ignoring the fact that most of them have to make emotion in their voice stronger so you can sense or hear it without actually seeing them. There's a lot of other issues with being a dub actor, such as fitting different text (due to language differences) in the same frames, make it sound natural, and still do all that other stuff that a voice actor always does. A good way to gauge the voice acting field is by the Dynasty Warriors video games series. It was pretty bad, overall, for the first few games, and each one is progressively better as cast members come and go. (I'm not just saying this because I'm friends with one of the newer additions to team, either. He's just that good.) It helps they've started giving them the correct pronunciations of the names, too. I'm ambivalent to the Case Closed dub, and I really enjoyed "Jimmy's" voice, but overall it was just in that time period where dubs were still super bad, (minus Bebop), due to the same few people doing all of the work, and I question their talent. Without it, I don't know when I would have ever discovered Detective Conan. The problem with the YYH dub is that they changed sooooo much in the dialogue, it changed entire scenes. Someone mentioned to me a few weeks back that the voice actors went back and redubbed scenes for the BluRay because they were so off. I really liked their voices, and if one of my favorite actors was not in the original, (and without all the changes), I would have been perfectly content with it. Yusuke's voice was perfect.
  17. I've never really thought about this before, but I think I'm Kazuha with a dash of Sonoko. I can be very talkative, I get completely devoted to things or people, I'm also willing to say what I think or feel, love good food and want to share it with everyone (uhh Heiji more than Kazuha I guess?), and I love all the pretty guys. :3 Is it safe to assume most people on here love mysteries and detective work?
  18. Good, good. My brother gave me a 5 lb gummy bear. :D What about you?

  19. I think it's fine now...

  20. Hahaha, good! But the website kept going down this morning. lol
