I like those kind've manga where there are some psychological aspects and there is a lot of knowledge being put to use too, Highchool of the Dead has sort've the same general idea.
The manga series is much better. I've only just started watching the anime and I noticed the chronology of the cases is shuffled around and the BO is switched with lookalikes twice, which creates a few plot holes... I think if I had watched the anime without reading the manga I would become bored, most of those Anime Originals are just awful...
About the Funimation dubs... how do they deal with 'ichi', meaning 1, being in Shinichi's name in the second movie? How do they translate that in English, I can't think of a way 'Jimmy' has a connection to the number one...
The thing that first comes to my mind when I think of movie 8 is: The land a plane. I like the murder solution and the Kid part on the train but not an overall brilliant movie. 7/10.
Definitely ShinRan.
The whole aim of Shinichi getting his body back is so he can be back with Ran again (in his normal body).
Ran's his childhood friend and first love. Shinich is Ran's first love.
Who knows what has been going on with Haibara's lovelife. I think Gin could've played a role in it.
Shinich and Ran have known eachother for a long time and have a deeper connection than Haibara and Shinich. They've only met quite recently compared to Shinich and Ran.
Shinichi nearly proposes to Ran at least once.
I don't think Shinich could be able to tuly forgive Haibara for working for the BO.
I don't watch much anime, preferring to stick with the original manga (if the manga did come first). But, out of the one s I did watch my top 5 are:
1:Hunter x Hunter (The art wasn't that good in the manga so they've improved it a lot in the anime).
2: GinTama (The first few episodes were a struggle but after that it's really funny).
3:Eyeshiled 21 (Really nice, good humour, story and art but it does get a bit repetitive).
4: demon King Daimao (Nice action and story but way too much fanservice).
5: Naruto (I liked the original series if you take out the 90% of filler).
I read it. The first one or two volumes hasn't got very good art but after a while It gets much better. It lacks a bit in story but makes up for it in tricks.
