I think that they should publish it in vizbig editions (3 volumes in 1) and in those editions the original characters names remain.

The name of the Franchise had to be changed for legal reasons ('Conan' is probably copyrighted by 'Conan the Barbarian' or something like that)but I don't see why the names had to be changed. I don't think anyone has copyrighted names like 'Mouri Kogoro' or 'Kudou Shinichi'.

Is that the one where a kid stays at an uncles house and at night the back door leads to some really nice garden? I read an extract of it in 5th class.

They kind've only did half a job with westernising Detective Conan which makes it worse. e.g. Richard Moore is talking to Yutaka Abe. Also, the puns are destroyed Also, I had they accents in the dub, especially with Megure.

It is a bit disappointing but as we have seen with Bleach, you can't keep high quality up for too long. In one way, I want Conan to end some because I couldn't bear for it to lose it's charm. :sad:

I think the idea sounds fun but I don't think we should have it like a quiz about detective conan. there would be spoilers everywhere. We should do stuff like Layton style puzzles (not directly ripped off from Layton games, obviously :grin: ) and codes. Have them relate in Conan in some way if you want. e.g.For the first round we can have something simple like this: Crack the code: 3-1-19-5-3-12-15-19-5-4. Hint: It's as easy as ABC! Then as it progresses the puzzles will become increasingly complex.

How about when you get to a certain number of posts you can either keep the title that corresponds to that number or make a custom title. Of course, if it is a custom title it should be in a different font of colour so if you are actually only 'Rank C' you can't change your title to 'Rank D'. If you do it would be obvious it is a custom title and not your real one.

Sorry, I don't watch the anime, I just read the manga... Edit: Oh, I remember that one, with the officer who sacrificed himself to know where the next bomb was.

I have mixed feelings about Naruto. The original series is fun, cool missions, humour and ninjas? Sounds fun. In Naruto Shippuden they lose most of the humour and replace the cool missions with Naruto whining about Sasuke and over powered enemies showing up and killing a bunch of people.

That sounds good. I want to read some of the Arsene Lupin stories but they aren't in my local library :cry:

I think that of the length of the series as a positive rather than a negative. Being able to come up with interesting and novel tricks and cases proves how talented Aoyama Gosho is.

I think Akai is alive but I don't think he is Okiya in disguise. I do, however think that Okiya is connected to Akai in some way, possibly a relative. Edit: Sorry, I wrote 'Scar Akai' instead of just 'Akai' :grin:

I was just using the people on this site as an example XD I'm just saying is that if you make a story and an interesting premise, people are going to get bored if you don't refer to that interesting premise much. I think this is probably the reason the BO appeared so much at the start of the manga, Aoyama probably wanted to keep people interested to keep the manga in the magazine. If people got bored quickly the series would be at risk of ending quickly.
