"Only This" by Shimegami-chan My absolute favorite Detective Conan fic, has been for quite awhile. It is intensely detailed, and so emotional. She has a way of getting deep down into the characters, describing everything in such a way that you vividly imagine what is transpiring in front of you. This fic has brought me numerous tears, and I feel would be an intensely plausible end to Detective Conan. Not to mention, a fic where Heiji is written really well is always a plus. He's not an easy character to portray. "Peter Pan in Reverse" by DireSphinx I've read just about every fic by DireSphinx, and was not disappointed by a single one. This is my favorite of their fics, not only because it's a Mitsuhiko/Ai fic, but because it is a really good twist into a very dark theme for the two characters. Haibara was expressed so well that even though this fic is extremely dark, and Mitsuhiko goes through quite a few emotional depressing changes, I would actually like to see this happen in the series. The only qualm I have is that it was written before Mitsuhiko's sister was introduced, so the age in the story is wrong. But other than that, such a good fic to read. -

Personally I think the Subaru is Akai theory was pretty obvious, but man is Akai so extremely attractive as Subaru...Especially when he smiles. I sort of hope he sticks to the look. One of the reasons I'm not really a fan of AkaAi is that I think both would feel they were betraying Akemi. I do really like their growing friendship though.

In regards to that "movie", I think the only accurate part was the scene with Medusa, and the only part I sort of "liked" was when they fought the hydra. All in all it was awful to witness and made me a very upset fan. Such amazing books will never get the movies they deserve because of one first crap production.

I just had to pop in and say that I absolutely hated the movie as well, and I really want to get "The Mark of Athena", desperately as well.

*Shakes head* I really just could never get into Conan/Ai or Shinichi/Shiho...It just pains me to even consider it. But I have considered AkAi, and if I wasn't in love with Mitsuhiko/Ai so much, I might of even gone for it. Who knows how things will turn out though. So, who's your favorite character? Or Characters?

I know, people find it weird. He's just so intense and emotional at that point, his face showing all his pain and feelings right then and there...I find it quite a bit attractive.

Something that popped into my head, that would be really fascinating and, honestly funny as all hell, to see happen. What if the situation with APTX 4869 got out of control? I mean a lot of people were affected... Would it make it easier for Shinichi to tell Ran? Would a cure be found sooner? How would everyone deal with it? Could it be covered up? So much to wonder... No, I can honestly see her punching/kicking him. But the real question is...Which one would she do first, kiss or hit? Both seem plausible, and I can imagine there would be a lot of crying and yelling on her part, with Shinichi trying his hardest to calm her down. Now more pics~
