I get it when someone commits a murder and then meets Mouri and is like oh snap I might be in trouble. But every now and again there's a case where they meet him and then commit the murder anyway, dude just wait a day or two. You rigged it once you can rig it again. Otherwise he's (but actually Conan) gonna see something or hear something and your plan is screwed.
