Who is the best detective, Shinichi or Heiji?
Osaka Detective replied to ConanEdogawa1990's topic in General
Shinchi is a better detective, but eh, Heiji is better because he has a farrrrrrr more interesting personality and his interactions with Conan are just awesome. Also, Heiji gets hurt during cases, unlike Shinchi. True story bro. But yeah, Shinchi is a better detective, but Heiji is more interesting. However, Yusaku = king of detective in conan-world. I fail to see why there hasn't been a Kudo Family Detective Battle. -
Unresolved plots in Detective Conan!
Osaka Detective replied to Chekhov MacGuffin's topic in General
Not sure if this is a plot hole, but I've always wondered a few things: Kir - It was stated that Kir managed to impress Anokata with her acting by killing her father. So, if Anokata is impressed, why can't Kir reveal more information about the org. One thing I'm really curious abut is how no one knew the real name of BO, even though Kir is in it. It's sort of weird how you're infiltrating a company that you don't even know its name. - Is Kir still under surveillance after so long? She hasn't appeared in quite a while. BO in general - What do they do outside of missions and most of the times when they don't appear in episodes? Vermouth used to work as Sharon Vineyard. Akemi led a normal life while Sherry had to stay coped up in the lab. How about Gin, Vodka, the current Vermouth, Chianti, Korn and most importantly Kir? Does anyone still recognise her as Mizureshi Rena? -
The two Azusa phone cases (350 and something) had no deaths. Ran's suspicion too. And a good number of the London Arc episodes.

Do you think Jodie regressed in character competence. In her introduction, she actually gave me a Vermouth vibe, and shown to be competent, though not completely overpowered like Akai. Like, she actually looked like a threat to the organization during the Vermouth and Kir Arc. However, as she appears after clash of red and black, I feel that she isnt the same awesome, competent, speedy, dangerous FBI English teacher anymore. I feel that she just lost her awesomeness after Akai 'died'. The newest manga chapter made me feel that way even more. I'm curious on what you all think. My brother sort of agrees with me :3

'confess feelings'? I don't think they're in love or anything... haha. Anyways, how about the points I make about BO? If I remembered correctly, BO labelled Shinchi as missing, so they might go and search for him. I don't think he can stay hidden for seven years, especially without the help of FBI. Kir was still found by BO even with FBI's 'protection'. I don't think Shinchi can stay for that long. I mean, unless FBI offers a Witness Protection Program, but no one had proof that it was BO that made him take APTX. Just a few plot-holes I found. Mehh...

Didn't Gosho said Agasa wasn't Anokata... o_O Anyways, I find it a cool end, but it's kind of anti-climatic considering that a person has watched near 1000 episode (which should be the end) to find that 'it was all a dream'. And even if Shinchi goes into a coma, the Black Organisation could've found him within a week. Kir's case took awhile, because the FBI was hiding her, yet BO still found her. I doubt the FBI would protect Shinchi, and even if they do, BO could've found Shinchi is less than a year to erase evidence, much less seven years. One thing I liked though. Chiba dented the car. And what happened to Heiji

Agasa is off the list due to the interview. And the girls can be taken off the list as well, since Gin refers Anokata as a 'he' and unless Gosho plans it that way, I don't think Vermouth can be a female boss's favourite. I don't think characters like Heiji would fit to be Anokata. It just contradicts with their personality too much, and it's kind of weird if Heiji wants to protect Conan. I don't think it's anyone that knows Conan's true identity, otherwise Conan would've been dead. I don't think is Kogoro too. The Boss won't ask Gin to kill himself. So yeah, so minor characters. Someone like.... ... ... No idea.

Japanese for a few reasons: 1. Can't get used to the English Names: I'm used to calling Shinchi Shinchi, not Jimmy. Yeah... 2. Voice Actors: I usually prefer sub over dub in other animes too. I don't know, Japanese VAs sound cooler. 3. Language Barriers: Some tricks are easier to be understood in Japanese. Like which American would know how Japanese people hold Sushi? Probably only a few, but it was a key to solving the case in 3 Ks of Osaka (dub isn't there yet though) 4. Openings: Japanese openings FTW, all the way! That's pretty all from me.

A bit of an exaggeration, but I agree. He rarely shows any struggles, unlike other characters. For example, in the Teacher Ski Trip case. He doesn't even feel saddened that his old teacher was the killer. That's why I liked the 3 'K's of Osaka Case. We get to see how Conan still has struggles when his idol is the killer. But eh, that's a rare scene, and he's usually a little bit too close to perfect.

The two decapitation cases. Yeah, it was creepy. Aside from that, the Cold Mask smiles coldly. The woman got killed because she was stabbed in the throat (or at least I think). And the Symphony Boat one. Who one earth drags a dead body on the side of the ship?! And the last one. The teacher reunion one. The cold body was kind of disturbing...

I think you're referring to 'Koi wa thrill, shock, suspense' right? I don't really like the dancing part, but it's funny at times. The song itself is good though, at least, IMO. Anyways, least favourite openings are the earliest. There's one that has real-life people like Don't Wanna Lie, but the song itself is pretty bad... The animations are just recycled. I'm also not a big fan of the openings between Kir's special and the Clash of Red and Black arc, especially the cloud one *shudders*. And the last one goes to the summer one a while ago in 2012, which just heavily focuses on Kid. Not my style, because Heiji didn't appear Haibara got heavily shafted in that opening. She's a main character for goodness. At least that opening had a good tune, and it didn't last for like a full year. As for endings, I usually don't pay attention to them, or I just skip to the next episode. There's one though. 'Free Magic'. That's about it from me.

Hai everyone. Nice to meet you. I'm new to this forum, so I might stumble a bit. Anyways, my favourite characters are Hattori Heiji, Kir, Haibara Ai, Okiya Subaru, Kir, Bourbon, Vermouth, Vodka, Kansuke Yamamoto, Yui Uehara, Wataru Takagi, Chiba, Ran, Kazuha, Shinchi and Conan. Pretty much a lot of characters. I also like Azusa from the Poirot Cafe. I know, I enjoy a lot of minor characters. Anyways, hope to see you around :3
