I believe that VIZ owns the rights to the series, so there won't be any change to the original Japanese names. It also means that they're gonna stay at the pace of release for the manga that they're at as well. It's frustrating that the VIZ pace is over 8 years behinds what's been released.

But Uchiha, it looks like you forget that right after that Sera looked up and said "Who's there?" while looking up and out through the small right side gap of the door because she thought she saw someone through that gap. After brushing it off, we see Vermouth in the Scar Akai disguise just a few feet away from the room. That means that Sera had spotted Vermouth in disguise through the gap at the same time Sera was staring down Ai. Which also means that's what was triggering Ai's BO sense. It was Vermouth in disguise behind the door.

The Raws for the most part are released on Mondays. New files are introduced on a weekly basis, but Gosho does take weeks off from time to time. When those times are can't be predicted for the most part. And plans for files are subject to change on when they're released. As for english translations, that's a wild card. I'm sure there are groups out there that translate. But when they get them translated is the big question. Some may get them out fast, while others take what seems like forever to get them out. That's about the jist of it.

I'd say it's the prevailing theory at least for the moment. I certainly can't come up with any proof at the moment saying that she is or isn't Sera's mom. I'd certainly like to hear what you have to say about the mystery girl Chekhov, if you have any ideas or theories about her that is.

Anyways, from what I've heard others say about the ending of movie 18 [(Dimensional Sniper) from those who have seen it and know a lot about it (I'm looking forward to the subbing of it in Oct. or Nov. whenever it comes)] and from what I've seen others saying in other forums like DCTP (a bummer with what's happened to them), it's heavily implied that movie 19 will have Kaito Kid in it.

As long as there is somebody translating, whether the subs are good or not, it's certainly better than nothing at all. Just do the best you can whoever it shall be. Finally, thanks DCTP for your hard work and dedication over the years. Now if Viz Media is indeed so serious in protecting their interests in Detective Conan/Case Closed, then I have a request for them. I wish that they could speed up the release of the Detective Conan/Case Closed manga here in the US. If they have to be a few volumes behind from what's released in Japan, fine but as of right now Japan is working on what would be vol. 85 while in the US we're only at vol. 51. A 34 volume difference is a bit too much in my opinion. Try to be 5 behind bare minimum please if you don't mind.

Just so you know Yoshi, it's actually a 6 part series. Desperate Revival: Episodes 188-193. For plot related arcs, IMO (and many others I'm sure), the top 3 (in chronological order) are Desperate Revival (188-193), Clash of Red & Black (491-504), and Holmes' Revelation (616-621).

Kir did appear in the Red Shirts Case a little later on actually.

I am. I was just saying that it seemed like it was taking quite a while to translate this file especially w/ how quickly the previous few files have been translated. There are times I might be impatient, but I realize that people do have their own lives to live.

That's at the tail end of episode 711-Everybody Saw Part 2. One of the great "Aw Man!" moments of the series. He wants to, but he knows that he shouldn't.

Jodie's father, who was and FBI agent himself, had a profile on Vermouth until it was burned along w/ his house and his body. The only that survived along w/ Jodie was his glasses that had Vermouth's fingerprints on them when she had intended to put them on him to make his death not look like murder and the prints would've been destroyed had Jodie not appeared at the time she did and forced Vermouth into a situation where it would've been awkward had Vermouth not given the glasses to Jodie.

To think that the long awaited File 898-Scarlet Epilogue comes out on my birthday of all days. Hard to ask for a better birthday gift.

Even though they haven't really acknowledged it, they know about the shrinkage. Akai-he's avoiding Haibara because of their past relationship, and Yukiko-Conan said to her (in regards to him) that Haibara is probably observing the growth of her drug's test subject in episode 335.

Of course we'll pick it up in the next chapter. File 898 already has the name of Scarlet Epilogue.

There are a few anime originals that I like, but for the most part, my favorites are all manga based. As for my overall favorite, that would be episode 425-the Black Impact episode as it introduces 3 new BO characters, which was great to see as we only had three that were introduced at the time that were still alive.
