Almost a year. Rum is introduced. However, Kir and Bourbon ain't loyal members. Rum-Gin-Vodka-Vermouth are the only useful BO members IMO. Chianti and Korn would be useless against Conan and the gang. Same goes to Jodie and Camel on the other hand.

Vermouth's seemed to be pissed when bourbon was about to say her relationship with the boss. It's really tricky IMO. 1. "ex wife" 2. "wife" 3. "daughter" 4. "lover" The reason why she is the favorite is yet to be known. Since she seems to be pissed, I think she does not want to use that as her advantage or maybe she is embarrassed. Who knows. Only Bourbon (and a few more members... maybe Gin and Rum) knows her secret.

I just hope theyll end it in Chapter 1000. That would be epic. Since it's already "nearing it's climax". A good 4-5 cases + a lot of BO vs. Conan development would be nice. 1 chapter for the finale is enough for me. I don't think Gosho would extend it after the final showdown of Conan and BO so maybe the finale is like a narration of (hypothetical general conclusions) 1. Ai finds a permanent antidote for aptx 2. Ran x Shinichi 3. Heiji x Kazuha 4. Eri x Mouri 5. Ai stays as child 6. Eisuke-Hondou conclusion 7. Akai family conclusion

1. She is Masumi's mother 2. She is a victim of APTX 3. She is a girl (She!) That are my answers in the poll. I want to elaborate it 1. Judging from her face, I think it's pretty obvious that they are relatives. I also know that Akai and Masumi have the same features as their mother (with the 2nd brother to the father). She seems to be the one who is giving pointers to Masumi not the other way around (well, typically the older one should be the one doing it). That also shifts me to the second point that she is a victime of the drug 2. She is something like 14 y.o. as oppose to Conan's and Haibara's age (6/7 y.o.). It shows that she is much older than the 2 mentioned and it is highly possible that she has indeed the age of a mother (my guess is around 50). Of course it is not really a direct minus 10 years old from your current age but I think you get my point. Shinich is 16 and Miyano is 18 so yeah. 3. I think Gosho won't be that dumb to put a confusion in that girl's gender. I mean, he is a girl as you can see. That 2nd brother just confuses most of you but it does not make sense to force a girl to be a boy just to make a theory feasible. Masumi seems to know that Conan is Shinichi. Masumi (and probably Akai) already met Shinichi and Ran before (probably in NY) for unknown reason. Yukiko seems to have a good relationship with Akai (based on the Subaru diguise) so I think that makes sense. However, Yusaku said in Scarlet series that he never met Akai so that's still bothering me. What's outside the picture is the parents of Akai and Sera. I think that's where the mysterious girl comes in. The mysterious girl still don't trust Conan maybe because she is yet to see Conan in person and she needs to trust him because he shares the same situation as her - drunk aptx. Sera already trusts Conan because 1. She is already with him in many cases 2. His middle brother (probably Haneda) trusts him The wizard is Conan. I don't know what the wizard means though ps. What's boggling me is Haneda's (the most possible middle brother of Masumi and Akai) age which is 28 and Akai's age which is 27. That's according to wiki of DC. Though I saw somewhere that Akai is already at his 30s. If that's true, then there is no problem since I think formality is the only thing needed to prove that Haneda is the middle brother.

This is interesting. Since it's artificial, I don't think it's really obvious but at the same time there would be a difference from the normal. In this case, the closing of the eyes while talking. It would also be interesting to see Heiji's father (yes, I want to emphasize it) to be a member of BO. He is influential and a member of the chief of police. He was in comatose for 10 years. I don't think a second-in-command for BO would be someone coming from a comatose but it is feasible to have a "higher officer" coming from a comatose. 4. His mission is to identify (and eliminate) the rats in the organization and it is interesting to see that he is also a "rat" in the Police department. A high-ranked rat in particular 5. Unlike Kir and Boubon, he is loyal to the BO. 6. Rum might actually be Kuroda, not an officer in SP. Based on the spoilers I see for the next chapter, Ai is hiding behind Conan when Conan was approached by Kuroda - hinting that she smells the BO aura in him. ps. Im happy to see that many are also pissed? that there are too many unloyal BO members being introduced. (Almost half of the BO members are/were not really loyal... Bourbon, Kir, Rye, Scotch, Ethan Hondou, Miyano sisters, and even Vermouth)

SPOILER TAG i do not know how to put that spoiler thing so if someone can help me, that will be awesome So after reading file 896, and reading your thoughts, here are my takes in this one. First, the real Okiya is Sera and Shuíchi's brother. His age is not really 27(as what stated in wiki) but a bit younger. It makes sense since Sera said once that his brother is a detective and it seems that her brother knows Conan well. Most likely, he already met Conan before(which can be the time when Ran and Sonoko saw Okiya in Shinichi's house). Second, I have three suspects on who the Okiya right now is. 1. The real Okiya is the guy Bourbon is talking with. It makes sense. I mean, he doesn't need to do anything. As plain as he is. 2. He's Yusaku Kudo. The reason why he wants to watch the Macademy Awards is because he is Yusaku. And most probably Yukiko is the one disguising as Yusaku. 3. It's Heiji. After that Vermouth face-off, he didn't have any part against the BO anymore. And knowing him, he is willing to help his friend, Shinichi, in this one. He is also a good fighter so it won't trouble him going against Bourbon. Kaitou Kid won't be because I saw here that Gosho said no more Kaito Kid. Yukiko will also be eliminated since we already saw a part of Okiya's chest. So we can deduct that he is a he. Obviously, he is not Akai. Third, about Bourbon's identity, as Gin said, he wants to make moves on his own. That makes his identity more interesting. His gang outside Shinichi's house and the one chasing Jodie and Camel aren't from BO. If they are, why will they "follow" him? I mean, yes he is a coded member. But to have a gang in his own, I think it's too much. And of course, if the BO knows this, Gin will definitely be here. We are talking about Akai, his mortal enemy. And we can't just ignore the conversation of Conan and Bourbon during that teacher case. Conan suspects Bourbon that he is not tied with BO 100%. Lastly, I'm hoping this will be the prelude of the ending of this manga. I hope their boss will already come out and all the characters will have their part. Since Shinichi's parents are already involved, I think this will come to an end already. Bourbon already suspects there's something with Conan. In addition, Okiya is living in Yusaku's house where Shinichi is staying before. So, after some time, Bourbon can easily deduct that Conan, Shinichi, Yusaku, Okiya, Akai and the FBI are connected. So I'm also thinking that from BO, Bourbon will be guy who'll discover that Shinichi is Conan. 2 mysteries I do not know yet. 1. The mysterious girl with Sera. 2. Vermouth's real intentions. I mean she protects Conan and Haibara. If the BO knows about it, it'll be chaos.

question about camel. Why did he say that he was called by his wife when he was introduced then when he volunteered to drive kir, he said he doesnt have a family to who will mourn for him. if he's a BO member(which the author clued from the start) then it makes sense. but if he's FBI, it doesnt

in manga, chapter 704, why did conan helped scar akai escape if he knows Subaru is Akai. Because many people say that the reason why Conan let Subaru live in his house because he knows he is Akai in the first place. I still don't get it.

Anyone here wants more BO members in the list? I mean, BO is a powerful organization. It's impossible for an organization to have only Gin & Vodka, Vermouth, Bourbon, Chianti & Korn and Kir(who is not really in their side) as the coded members. Just think of the head to head match between the protagonists and antagonists Boss vs Conan Gin vs Akai Bourbon vs Heiji(if ever he'll take part) Vermouth vs Yukiko Chianti & Korn vs Jodie & Camel [these 4 characters are basically useless or nerfed ever since they were introduced Vodka vs Masumi?? Then it'll be an easy win for the side of Conan if his dad, Yusaku will help. Yusaku is way better than Conan. Also there's still the Kaitou Kid who can help Conan steal the APTX. Haibara, Ran, and Eri are all usable characters against the BO too. I'm thinking Rum, Baileys, Bacardi & Whiskey for the new members.
