not to outright shoot you down, but I see two distinct flaws in the theory: one, I'm not sure how complicated the programming would be to allow that (particularly to add it into this type of forum software) and two, if this became available, people would spend more time fiddling with it than participating in conversations

Detective Conan World Facebook Group is Now Live!

[off topic] guys... please don't double-post... if you hit "send" and decide you wanted to say something else, there's a handy "edit" button at the bottom of your existing post thank you [/off topic] -
*cries* you think all I do is threaten people? and as for outdoor activities, it does depend on whether the person is used to the climate... even around here, when it's cold and snowy, there are still a few people who go out jogging

I fixed the triple post... it's not really a triple post, since each one is identical, and has almost the same time stamp

I'm sure I've pissed people off, and people think they've pissed me off (I'm not that easy to piss off, first of all)... my moderating style is to go after behavior, so if a person does something that goes against the guidelines we've set down, I'm gonna go after them (BUT IT'S NOT PERSONAL!!!!). If I ask you to stop a particular behavior, I expect that you won't keep asking me in different ways whether you can keep doing it (that will piss me off) and apparently I'm too important to be allowed opinions on things... but I'll have you all know that just because it's my opinion doesn't mean it's the law! In fact, far from it! Take my opinion as simply that... I won't go after people for doing things that annoy me

in all honesty, I find the onions annoying... and it has nothing to do with my computer speed also, I wouldn't tell people outright to post in the games section... it's all unrelated topics, and has very little to do with the purpose of the site aside from blowing off steam

I may have misquoted you during recording, and for that I apologize.... I thought I remembered a conversation, but I don't remember who it was with (I credited it to you)

I didn't think either of them knows the other exists...

are you sure it wasn't movie 2, when they were trying to get out of the underwater restaurant?
-
Why don't you open a forum for clubs?

CarpetCrawler and I don't wield that kind of power... and it hasn't been a high priority for me -
wow, apparently I'm chopped liver... but I thought there was already a thread about saimoe (I've just been informed that it was deleted)... I feel like since this thread covers much of the same information, it must be spamish, and will take the initiative to lock it

it's called GIMP, people! it's available for windows and mac, and is a pretty damn good open source version of photoshop
-
yeah... it's actually Case Closed ;;;;;
-
there actually exists a DC tcg... it's just super-obscure and I don't know if anyone actually plays it... I tried to read through the instructions once, and it seemed pretty complicated
-
meh, I don't tend to worry quite as much about capitalization or periods when it's just casual chat

I think I like the first ranking system better than the second, but instead of going straight from high school detective to full detective, there should be other steps in between, like traffic cop (ie. Yumi), police officer, and then after full detective could be inspector... or something
-
as long as we're being nit-picky... "a beginning with which to start the conversation"

welcome to DC World!

if memory serves, that segment was a prologue... it took place before Shinichi was shrunk. I never quite figured out what it had to do with the actual case, except that they both involved clocks... but I think that if Shinichi was to do battle with KID as physical equals, it would take away some of the charm of their struggle

I wonder what he's really writing
-
the manga is probably on the Shounen Sunday site, but I'd venture to guess that the anime has its own domain
-
I don't know if I can get to Katsucon, since I'm already going to Ohayocon
-
I'll be at Ohayocon, helping promote Tekkoshocon, and I'll be at Tekkoshocon too!
