if you look at the cast list, you'll see that Takayama Minami did in fact voice both Conan and Aoko (and herself, for that matter ), and Hayashibara Megumi voiced both Ai and Akako
-
do you mean which chapter? none, that I know of... the OVA's that were taken from the MK manga were adapted to include him
-
welcome to DC World, I hope you enjoy your stay!
-
I, myself, am trying to get my hands on raw files, and not having an easy time of it... I found two bundles set as torrents, but one never seems to have a complete copy online (and so is sitting at 96% completion)... there was somewhere else I was looking, but in general they're extremely difficult to get a hold of
-
according to Anime News Network, the Japanese (read: original) edition of the manga was up to volume 63 in November 2008... I'm sure there must be at least two or three more by now
-
I'm not sure why, but people on these boards seem to forget Ayumi's giant crush on him... that being said, I've never really thought Ai or Ayumi were a good match for him, and always stand by the Shinichi/Ran pairing
-
it seems that your editing skills are relatively solid... but I couldn't quite figure out what you were trying to accomplish with that series of clips... I suggest next time choosing a song with lyrics that you can illustrate, and picking clips that don't have text on them
-
not the right place for this, but it seems you have it pretty well under control
-
you're right about the movies, but actually several of the OVA's are either included in or are adaptations from the Magic Kaito manga
-
if you go to the "anime" page on the wiki, and look under the "manga source" column, the ones that aren't from the manga are listed as "tv original"
-
the biggest difference between the storyline of the anime and the manga, is that the anime has a lot of additional cases that don't appear in the manga, for better or worse
-
I think they might have joined the game late (subbing groups in general, that is), so they started out with the manga-based cases, and gradually filled in the gaps... and actually, the newer episodes are subbed - they take a little less than a week after the episode airs
-
that question has actually already been addressed... and basically, there's only a vague timing to the movies. if you're really serious about how you watch them, and want to wait to watch 3 until after at least episode 129, you should probably wait to watch 10 until after at least the episode with the "gathering of the great detectives" (although the particular character that's introduced in that case is only in 10 so far, and hasn't appeared in any other movies that I know of) however... if you know the reason why you should wait to watch movie 3, then it may or may not be moot altogether... the movies should be watched in order, but it's not necessary to fit them in between specific episodes since they're not canon edit: you could also figure them out based on release dates, but that might take more work than you're willing to put into it... also, once you do finally get caught up, the English subbed movies take several months after the initial release date because the subbing group has to get good quality video
-
I think there's already a thread very similar to this somewhere...
-
DCTP released a subbed version of an episode of Magic Kaito sometime between last night and this morning. I grabbed a copy for myself, but I didn't get a chance to watch it before work looking forward to taking a peek this afternoon, though!

some (most?) are on animelyrics.com

um... I don't intend to do any of the writing... if I were to do that, it wouldn't be your story anymore... and you shouldn't feel like you have to work on it, because then it won't be fun.
-
it's actually only in the movies... it may also be in the anime, but it's never been confirmed
-
welcome! it sounds like you'll be a great addition to the group, feel free to make yourself at home
-
cool, I'll take another look at it sometime in the next week or so. I have to warn you, though, from what I remember I'll be marking it up a lot. My general goal as a beta reader is to help the writer clean up their work and make it as clear and enjoyable as it can be. The writer can take any, all, or none of my advice, and I won't be offended if they decide I'm full of crap. my track record has been fairly decent lately, so I'm looking forward to working with you
-
it's an interesting take on the ending (and unfortunately not an uncommon one)... I think you're headed in the right direction, but the entire thing feels really raw and way too fast-paced. If you ever decide that you want to revisit it, I'd be happy to lend my services as a beta reader.
-
erm... some of them were intended to be a one-shot (and the ones that are, are noted as such) the particular one you list is a spoof of an existing story that takes place between Holmes and Watson, and so with Shinichi having proven Ran wrong as Holmes had proven Watson wrong, I didn't feel the need to take it further.

first of all, please don't double-post unless there's a large gap in time (like, days or weeks) between posts second of all, I'm not sure I understand what you mean either. are you asking how long it is between chapters of the manga? because they're serialized in Shonen Sunday before they're assembled into tankubon (I know that's not much of an answer, but I don't follow the Japanese version closely enough to have a good handle on the timing) or are you asking how long it is between manga-based episodes of the anime? because that's even less certain scheduling, especially because of how many anime-original episodes there are (also, if that's your question, it doesn't really belong in this section of the boards)
