thanks... I wanted to get the original lines in as they were translated by DCTP, but I couldn't make my mouth go that fast... I don't really speak fast normally, but I can try if you need me to I mostly just modified the lines so they fit the mouth movements, I hope they still get the ideas across

so... here we are. what happened is this: I basically recorded three lines for each of the two characters. Ran's first two lines are properly timed according to how they fall in the episode (left that way on purpose)... Haibara's three lines, and Ran's third line are not. so... I recorded some lines for Haibara that I think sound okay, but my computer is being weird, and craps out every time I try to edit the video to sync it... so you'll get her and Ran as floating voices (the lines are pretty close to the beginning of the episode, so it shouldn't be too hard to match them up)... I even made sure the length was right to match the mouth movements, so I'm kind of upset that my computer is being stupid. I haven't recorded Ran yet, but I'm trying to figure out what part of the song she's singing so I can get that in too.

I've deemed today "evening to myself" day (haven't had enough of those lately), so among other things, I thought I'd try to record some lines tonight

I think at one time I had a copy of 507, but it went the way of all things when I did a purge a while back... I'll probably need another copy at some point, so I'll need help finding one in the mean time, should I keep trying to find one, or could I use lines from other episodes?

yes, this list also already exists in part on our forums in this thread: I'm not sure what else can be added to this thread, because the two stories were written by the same manga-ka, and the anime was done in the same studio... as such, since most of the information exists elsewhere, I think I'll be okay locking the thread PS. there hasn't been a second episode of Magic Kaito, that I know of... but he's shown up tons of times with Conan

Hi everyone, I know many of you are probably thinking I've been a hard-ass lately, and I want to apologize for appearing that way. What I won't apologize for is the reason it's happening. It's incredibly rude to have any individual image within a signature take up most of the length of one's window. I know you love your pictures, and I appreciate them too, but it's distracting, and it disrupts the flow of the boards. (It's less of a big deal in an actual post, because it's the focus of the post... and the forum shrinks it automatically) So I ask that you please look at the image you're linking before you click "update profile". As many know, you will get a message if I see large images. I know I'm not the only one who keeps her monitor at factory-set screen resolution. Thank you.

they won't be using the cast from the first two live action specials, only the third one (which had a different Shinichi, Ran, and Sonoko) what I'm hoping for is that if Eri shows up, she doesn't have that stupid eyelid thing going on

that would be a long special... there's two prior episodes to what's listed, one of which we already have a subbed copy of

there are a lot of episodes that aren't from the manga, and they're just called "anime original", or AO for short... the actual story all comes from the manga

live action 4 is actually the beginning of a series... for which we already have a thread on the forum, so if you don't mind I'll be closing this one

addendum: if you get to meet the victim before they're killed, they generally spend their time offending everyone around them before wandering off alone, often to take a nap ...although that's true in most crime drama ..at least, the offending everyone part
