I watched AoT/SnK for the hype. Eventually, it ended up being one of the many things I would look forward to during the weekend. I was at the edge of my seat for every episode because of the fantastic job they did with the cliffhangers. But as it progressed, less and less closure developed, making me believe that it's going to follow the path of Naruto or Bleach. The show had a great premise. The art stood out, the physics was a turn on for me, and the whole idea really separated itself from many of the other anime I've watched. The use of black humor towards the end was also a nice touch. However, I expected some closure. I was disappointed after finding out that nearly nothing was accomplished over the course of 25 episodes. minor spoiler if you haven't finished it yet I sincerely hope that the show will not stretch above 100 episodes, because I don't want the series to become another Naruto or Bleach. However, AoT/SnK is a cash cow, so I still wouldn't surprised if it did.

Honestly, I love LoK. ...though I don't really consider it an anime since the show isn't native to Japan. Other than the awkward love triangles and the train-wreck that was season 2, it's a pretty amazing show. It still doesn't compare to the original ATLA, but you can't blame them--it's hard to fit in decent character development within ~13 episodes. We can complain to Nickelodeon about that because of the lack of budget. If it's any consolation, the animation and art are a lot better than the original ATLA.

It depends on your event. Generally for study events, they'll give you a paper test. You're also allowed to bring a double-sided note sheet for most events, which tend to help a lot. Other events may allow you to bring an entire binder (like for rocks and minerals). Go check the details of your event if you're not sure--most of them should be online.

Ahhhh, what a coincidence! The problem I had trouble with was also the first question! I went through the trouble of using all the methods the teacher taught us for the chapter (trigonometric by parts, tabular method, etc.) only to find out that it was a simple u substitution problem by the end of the test. It was extremely misleading and I basically lost free points because I wasn't open-minded enough. Only a handful of people figured out how to do it, so I'm glad I wasn't alone. I was never fond of the product rule or the quotient rule since I often make silly algebraic mistakes when it gets messy--especially when the problem also incorporates chain rule, then my paper ends up being a bunch of scribbles and chicken scratch. Gosh, your teacher must have been having a pretty bad day when he/she created that problem. The quiz I had was on trigonometric integration, which can also be a humongous pain in the butt. It took me hours to do only seven problems on the homework and I was pulling my hair out with every. passing. second. The worst part is, this stuff isn't even on the AP test.

I first discovered this show a looooooong time ago. My sister introduced it to me in Chinese dub. I was really young at the time so I didn't give it much thought. Afterwards, before I discovered how magical the internet was, I would sneak into my sister's room every time she watched it. It wasn't until years later when I decided to pick it back up and follow it at my own pace. I haven't dropped it since.

I regret over-thinking that one question on that calc quiz I had. Gah, it's so frustrating how easy that problem was. But a lot of my friends encountered the same problem, so I guess I don't feel that bad.

Is this one of your events? I remember taking meteorology in my first year of SciO. I personally didn't think the test was that difficult because I had some really thorough notes for it. The thing that tripped me up during the test were the weird graphs they incorporated. However, this was a while ago, so these details are only from the top of my head. I think you'll be okay.

I've heard a lot of good things about this book from previous friends who have read it. It's okay so far, but my expectations were so high, it doesn't seem nearly as good as what my friends made it out to be.

I don't think it's too odd for them to switch up OPs and EDs half-way. The show is a 2-cour, after all.
