One of my manyxmany assumptions regarding the last arc:- One of the characters in the larger protagonist domain reveals an info that would help Conan in figuring out the BO boss, in contrast that character gets shot by Gin or Rum. Conan in fear of losing his friends and the result of the BO's unveiling starts to create a master plan, which involves the use of all heroic characters. Therefore Conan knowing that it is not a good way to confront the BO in their own HQ due to the large number of their members, he would create a situation, a diversion to lure the BO low ranked members into a secluded place were they would be confronted by the many heroic characters: Hattori, Rei, Kogoro etc... While Conan anticipating a counter plan from the boss, the boss now in his original HQ with Rum at his side and Vermouth while having Sherry held captive in their HQ by Gin who would reveal past events. Conan now can enter the HQ due to the lowered security level, solves the traps that already set, he calls forth his secret cards containing Shuu who would confront Sherry and fight Gin in a battle of guns and witts. Conan now facing the boss Rum and Vermouth, Vermouth turns sides and reveals her betrayal. The boss anticipated her treason and reveals a counter plan to her treason for he was hopefull till the end that she will turn up loyal, Rum faces Vermouth and proves to be more of a challenge to her as part of the Boss's counter plan. While Conan and the boss have a battle of the minds, having both revealing deductions to each other and showing admiration to each other being distingueshed only by Conan's principles of Justice while the boss is assumingly illustrated as someone who would risk others lives to save more people in the future. Meanwhile, Shuu shoots Gin a bullet of silver that penetrates Gin and paralyzing him while stating that he cannot kill him but he doesn't have to save him thus leaving him behind. Rum close to kill Vermouth is kept at bay by the intervention of Yuusaku (This is what I would like to see not my assumption though), but it is Shuu who does the final impact that would lead to Rum's own struggle and would become mentally unstable or psychologically damaged thus possessing no real threat. Conan and the boss having finished their deduction show to a point where they would want to fight each other, it would become the most intense and breath taking fight. As Conan is about to be defeated by the exhaustion of the body of a child, Sherry saves him by giving him the Completed Antidote thus allowing him to recover his full body infront of the arriving audience which includes Ran. Shinichi now gains the upper hand uses a super super kick on something that would drive the boss into an uncouniouss state, the boss is later taken along with Rum into a secret prison or are destroyed along with the self destruction of the BO HQ while Vermouth has ran away with the antidote. Shinichi finds out that Ran was stuck in the building and goes to help her, she reveals that she know who he was and he replies that he wanted her safety. He tries to explain himself while trying to save her, but she keeps crying and having an inner struggle. Shinichi after showing a great source of prowess becomes more and more helpless as he is pinned down by the collapsing building, thinking this is the end he screams as he is satisified that Ran at least would be safe due to the path he has created for her to escape through. She then starts crying again and the moment she hears the scream of Shinichi shee run to rescue Shinichi by raising a large stone from his body showing her strength, Shinichi then catches the falling Ran due to the heat who then confesses her feeling to him. And they both kiss, as Shinichi carrying her body while walking out of the building smiling and returning to the gathered heroes who were crying and screaming the hole time for Shinichi and Ran to come out safe. Thus, they are finaly at a situation were everything is cleared and the villainy of the BO has ended. Though I presume a somewhat follow up episodes would be released to present the future were Shinichi in collaboration with Heiji opens a detective agency/academy of which the mature Detective Boys are now members, both Shinichi and Heiji married to Ran and Kazuha respectively. Gin's body is no where to be found, Vermouth has returned to her own real age and is dying peacefully through natural causes after her super resistant body came to be very vulnerable thus her most precious weapon becomes a curse (sort of like the Picture of Dorian Grey kind of thing). Shuu is still with the FBI having been promoted is now expecting a baby with his wife Jodie, Mouri now remarried to his wife Eri is expecting a second baby which they are going to name Conan ( ). Agasa becomes internationaly famous inventor and his new company ( Professor Sun Company, most likely ) is now best selling inventions company, Shiho either moves to the U.S to promote world saving medicines or stays in Japan ( as seen in the recent anime opening in her real form and in a scientist clothes with strange men ). Other character with romantic relationships are married or promising to be married; TakagixMiwako, etc. with the other characters still having their jobs or got promoted. P.S. I can see how MG returns to her normal state as the mother of the Sera's, and Rei taking a romantic interest in Masumi.

Rum's existence is almost confirmed, however not fully.. So my guess is that Rum's true existence would emit in the movie, rather than appearing in full person or uncovering his id. I guess Gosho-sama would most likely confirm his existence and even might give us a deeper hint into the three descriptions of him..

Yeah, I was probably confused.. However it may be the thrill of imagining Conan as a cat that got me confused in the first place.. But like you said at least there was a cat involved, why not a dog?? ...

Oh sorry.. didn't know about the other topic.. Yeah and also you may not know this, but I heard somewhere that once before Conan was originally thought out.. Gosho-sama had planned to make a dog that would help it's owner a detective to solve crimes by dropping hints.. much like what Conan do.. and the dog was somewhat modeled after Inuyasha..however later on, Gosho-sama wanted it to be a cat..and after sometime he established a child that would drop hints and finally came DC..that's the story behind how Conan came to be

Gotta say, now that I think about it Inuyasha's couple and Shinichi's couple are very similar... and lol I just remembered that Shinichi and Ran were seen in an early episode of he Inuyasha anime, as a cross over ..

If my hunch is correct, I think the Org was meant to cure diseases. Thus named their project Silver Bullet, as easy as their goal may be. It was suprisngly that other side effects had caught up, such as increase in stamina and in capacity and so on as seen in Gin and Vermouth. However few like Vermouth did not age because of the side effects to this 'Super Soldier' syndrome, but with the efforts of Sherry on the project and naming it APTX4869 which had further effects such as deaging as seen in both Shinichi and Sherry.

True, but it is suggested that his ID was hinted early. Not to mention that Gosho-sama himself said if you know the BO's real name you'd know the boss name, meaning we already know the boss. But his real ID is still a mystery..

That does seem most appropriate, but there are no companies with any relation to Werewolves and/or Vampires in DC's world

He also once drew Conan praising Takamura of the Hajime no Ippo series, in regard and congs for Jioji Morikiawa (the writer of HnI) for reaching 1000 chapters..

Though like mentioned, it is highly unlikely.. But how cool would it be if Subaru is an actual person who is another undercover agent under some identity, and so that suspicions will not fall on his original identity , he lent it to Shuu so they would be both benificial..but then again it would but highly unlikely that a person would lend his original id to be exposed to dangerous crime org, but nonetheless Subaru was at first seeing as an apartment holder. I cannot see how Shuu and/or Conan would come up with fake registration papers that are necessary for renting an apartment without involvement of another higher up, or perhaps a real person's id ...

I am not saying it is bad though, I do like it when Shinichi saves Ran.. and more so when they both take action in rescuing another person..

Sure, yet I'd like to comment that Ran may be sometimes a hold back.. although she is great and all, yet she may turn as a victim of an event and therefore leading Shinichi/Conan to rescue her..

That is why I think Amuro would be too smart to ruin Shinichi's plan, or about to unknowingly but stopped at the last second by non other than Shuu..

I don't think Shiho started from scratch, as Pisco had put it: to think you would have come this far with what your parents project. It was along this line that had me thinking that she actually continued on the project maybe from a different angle therefore renaming the project.. I will keep it in mind, but that is not the case with me.. I remember everything I dream off XD

Not to mention, that instantly once I've awoken I came to realize how he was inhuman. That a simple assumption that probably was made, is the apoptoxin 4869. It was meant to help those in need, to cure cancer but it worked wonders and that is why the boss and Gin and Vermouth are resistant to stun guns and have an increased stamina. While it came to an astonishing stage that it would de-age the user, as what happened to Vermouth and later to Shinichi and Shiho. It was not meant to do so, but it was evolved to such extent. This is why as of now I'm starting to think that Silver Bullet is the disease fighting cure while APTX 4869 is the deaging drug.

Well, I do not know how it ended up happening. But last night, while I was asleep I was having some kind of random dreams. Many of which were disturbing but were very cool as well, however one in particular came to my interest and to my liking as well. The dream was the last of the sleep's running dreams, and it was as you already figured it out about Anokata himself. From what I remember and almost very accurately, I was having a talk with Shuu, Shinichi in his Conan form, Heiji and surprisingly Shuukichi. I saw them animated of course and it was from my point of view so I did not know if I was animated as well, however after the talk I was struck from behind after leaving the room with something heavy which I presume to be a bat. Then what I remember is that I was inside a moving van with a black mask on my head as I heard the engine running and the sun that shined upon my face through the window of the moving van had my eyes see a very blurry scenery of what is outside, the van came closer to a very big and tall building with some men in black similar in appearance to Tequila and Vodka specifically. As the van entered the basement of the building the men took off the mask that was covering my head and while holding me very tightly they took me to the highest floor, once there they tied me at the end of the hall while my movement was limited as if I try to move to my extreme right or left I would be seen by a camera that had a laser installed to that once seen it would burn me up. But strangely I saw somehow the Detective Boys being captured and crying for help while Agasa is brutally questioned, I was worried (like seriously I was somewhat conscious and knew they are anime characters and would be eventually rescued) and yet I tried to look to the other side which was my right. And there a terrifying scene that I witnessed yet bumped to see, a man in a large office like that of a CEO typing at his computer very fast. Once he glimpsed at me with a black silhouette like that of the criminals seen in DC with shining red eye ( at first I thought it was RUM), but then I quickly returned to my position so he won't notice me glimpsing. Yet again in my head I kept thinking that the whole purpose of DC is to find out his identity, and somewhat magically if I see him his image will be widespread and Conan would know of him. So I said what the hell it is a dream and at least a glimpse won't hurt and at last I would find out his identity, so I turned again to my right and there he was getting angry because he knew I was looking. Then stood up this large man with a scarred right eye while the other was glowing red ( I still thought it was Rum) with tall greenish lit bright brown hair and a large beard than extends to his stomach while his face was turning red, he was getting angry on my curious behalf. His green suit was an attention seeking one, but once up he spoke with a harsh voice:" You are dead, though I liked you". I was surprised at first but then I relaxed as I knew his image will be spread so I did not care much, he shot me with pinpoint accuracy. And while I was in pain from the shot I dropped from the window that laid behind me to fall down while my back was to the ground, while falling down I was kind of happy that the boss would come to an end but I was somewhat disturbed by the smirks and the devlish smiles of the men in black that were standing near to the windows all over the building. Truly like ravens waiting for a prey to fall so they enjoy it, but from behind I heard sirens and Conan's voice. And that were I woke up and the dream ended. I was not watching or reading anything related to DC yesterday and I know that my dreams usually come to exist in a form or another, so for a moment there I thought that would be somewhat similar to the real DC's ending. Hope you like it, a dream that is one of many relating DC that had me worried but I enjoyed as well!..

I guess Ran is more of the combatant hand-to-hand martial artist to improve the status of feminine rights, and I support it as well. Ran is one of the few women who would never cheat and that is an admirable trait, her temper is to be admired as well as she is more of hotheaded that Shinichi maybe to show how Shinichi is more of the cool headed type of guy. She is more of Watson to Shinichi's Sherlock, as she is also the Irene mixed with Watson to Shinichi's Sherlock. Ran is in my head the link for Shinichi to go beyond his own capabilities, he always do the impossible to her. therefore she is the main force behind Shinichi's sheer determination. When advised by Yuusaku, Conan said it was his case to face the BO rather than travel with him overboard but it was more important for him to stay because of Ran. And for our dear Gosho-sama Ran is not just the romantic interest to Shinichi but also the driving force to go on and fight the BO, and that is why I did put her on my favorite characters list. Because honestly speaking we would not have Shinichi the way he is without Ran..
