  1. We still don't have 955 in english—hopefully we'll get both soon.
  2. But what's the point of even considering that possibility? What's Gosho's twist, if Mary isn't Masumi's mother?
  3. Masumi has used "mama" before: File 778, Page 5 In Kana (I think this is the proper term): まぁママもやせてたけど, 割りと胸はあったから心配してないけどね! In Romaji: mā mama moyaseteta kedo, wari tomune wa attakara shinpai shitenai kedo ne! There's only one word that could mean mom/mother in here, and it's "mama/ママ," which is what Masumi says in 953 (she actually says it twice, the second time while actually speaking to Mary) File 953, Page 14
  4. How'd you draw that conclusion? All Shukichi said was that Koji was the shogi player he respected the most. Shukichi was 11 when Koji died, and his surname didn't change from "Sera" to "Haneda" until after his high school graduation—he wouldn't have become Koji's brother-in-law/step-brother until 7-8 years after he died. He may not have actually met him. He certainly could've met him, and they could've been friends, in spite of their age gap, but did Shukichi explicitly say anything about Koji being a "close friend" in 947? Not that I recall.
  5. You mean the BO? There can only be so much trust in an environment like that.
  6. She failed to detect both Vermouth and Bourbon during the Cherry Blossom pickpocket case, so her sense is inconsistent. I think Sakurako is going to be more like Eisuke than Tomoaki—she'll be connected to Rum, rather than actually be Rum. I'm starting to think that September 2014 AC hint was referring to Lum, too. Though Heizo and Taka'aki are still on my list of Rum suspects, Taka'aki—if Rum is Asaka and he is Rum—would've been 18, at the time. Heizo would've been in his twenties.
  7. Ah, so that's the explanation. Thanks for letting me know! Hopefully, I'll remember this, and not ask next year, why Movie 21 (may) not have such early spoilers and (may) have less info, in general.
  8. The difference between Rum messing up and Pisco messing up was that the latter, Kenzo Masuyama, had left both proof he committed murder AND proof of his identity (with that photo taken of him pointed his silence handgun at the ceiling). That's why Gin was ordered to eliminate him, because there was NO WAY OUT for him. Rum only left proof that he committed the murder—no one ever found Asaka or traced him. Since the murders of Koji Haneda and Amanda Hughes are still cold cases, seventeen years later, there clearly WAS a way out. Plus, Gosho said that there was a red herring in Volume 18. Clearly, he was referring to the APTX list, and considering the direction the manga is taking, Koji Haneda might be the red herring. Thus, I don't think Shinichi/Conan and Shuichi/Subaru can use this seventeen-year-old murder ALONE to figure out Rum's identity. Now, as for Rum's BO standing, seventeen years ago, I'd say, at the very least, he was at the level of Rikumichi Kusuda. At most, he was at the level of Hidemi/Rena/Kir or Rei/Tooru/Bourbon.
  9. You and anyone who might've known about the Gundam stuff and thought that Subaru was Shuichi and Masumi was his sister. I get why, but jumping the gun is jumping the gun. You're judging Rum before the character has probably even appeared because of one botch Rum made when he had two decades less experience, and we don't even know if Rum was No. 2 back then (not saying that's good/bad—it simply is what you're doing).
  10. To anyone saying this—I think it's far too early to make such a judgment. You can't just point out a single mistake that happens to be the story focus right now and essentially say, "Rum sucks! Here comes another disappointing arc!"
  11. I guess Shinichi/Conan may do "dark" things because he sees an opportunity to bring down the Organization.
  12. What's Ms. Heterochromia's name, and what's the name of the spiky-haired guy with glasses between Korn and Shuichi?
  13. And very nicely done, if I may say so.

Very interesting... I think Shiho was there because of the elder (130 years old—in the real world, she'd be oldest person in recorded human history (that is known of)). She must've been trying to figure out why the elder lived so long. Whether she discovered the ruse that everyone in the island knew about is anyone's guess.
  15. If he was the only suspect in the File, then odds are high he's the murderer. At the very least, Shinichi/Conan is finally going to come face to face with her, that's for sure. I'm actually surprised it's just him and Kogoro on this one—it's been awhile since a case like that.
