  1. Episode 21 (Aired May 23rd, 2015) was subbed by Puto—I can't say whether or not the same went for the other 10 episodes in 2015 that were remastered.
  2. Then Masumi should have the surname "Haneda," as well. Any proper BO investigation of his past would eventually yield the truth—if he's writing his father's real name, and, thus, revealing his original surname of "Akai," it must be because he has no idea about the BO, or the BO has no idea that Shuichi has a brother (also, only Rei/Tooru and Vermouth seem to know about his sister).
  3. On mine, as well—I didn't expect him, a man who was just Shukichi's opponent, in 899-902, whom he seemingly defeated easily with very limited time, to land the character keyhole on Volume 85 (I know he could've been, and likely was, there because there was simply no one else to put in the character keyhole). If he is Rum, his proximity to Shukichi would have quite the cover... I'd say watch for him when Shinichi/Conan and co. head over to the match, in 947, because if he sees Shiho/Ai, developments in subsequent cases may or may not depend on his reaction to that, should it happen. I don't know if Gosho's going to do in the manga for Movie 20 what he did with it for Movie 18, but we're less than 3 months out—I'd say we'll get 3-4 more cases before the Movie comes out... we'll find out if anything comes of this.
  4. Plus, he'll have already used it in the opening chase scene... that is, of course unless they intend to up the anté with TWO sniper scenes.
  5. This is also because she has a soft spot for him, and if she told the BO, now, about all this, after lying in the first place—including the fact that she knows that Shiho's/Ai's death was faked—she'd get in big trouble.
  6. That's been out for over a month. And I say this is proof the BO is, indeed, in the manga, not a global issue, as it will be in Movie 20—if it were, they would have told each other. While the CIA's involvement in this would be expected, the FBI's involvement is quite irregular—just how did Jodie's father get involved with the business of the BO?
  7. And what of their superiors? The agents may not know, but their superiors must, through the grapevine, as it were. Germany, the U.K. and the U.S. are allies, the latter two especially so. I don't think they'd keep each other in the dark about a global criminal organization. They are also allies with Japan, the source country—I don't see them not cooperating with each other to deal with such a threat, and not doing some pretty decent damage, at the very least. Thing is, the movie—the non-canon movie—is saying the BO is a global presence. At most, the manga involves the U.S. and maybe the U.K., in terms of countries that the Japan-based BO has managed to reach and influence.
  8. How many other spotlights has DC been granted? At least a few, I assume.
  9. Thanks! So the implication is that, when her husband died (though Gosho's statement on said matter leaves that up in the air), Mary had both Masumi's and Shukichi's surnames changed, and, around the time that he graduated from high school, Mary (and Shuichi, as well, perhaps) decided that Shukichi needed a new surname, for his own safety, while Mary would take Masumi to America (though that was much later on), and either found a married couple with surname Haneda, or just had the names made up (perhaps James played a role in this, in either finding willing participants to this ruse, or even altering records) so it would appear that Shukichi was not related to Mary, Shuichi and Masumi. Though, if he's writing his real father's name down on a legal document that will be kept for records, then... Alternatively, Serinox suggested, on DCTP, that Shukichi's envelope doesn't really contain a marriage registration form, since it was Shiho/Ai who suggested that idea, in the first place, and even referred to the idea as "cliché." The manager, if he knew Shukichi well enough (or even less, since Yumi probably doesn't know that much, if anything about Shukichi's family and background) he could fake it. Instead, then, the old man may give us (and Shinichi/Conan) info about Shukichi's past by the end of the case—if this alternative theory is not so, and there really is a marriage registration form in Shukichi's envelope, then we may have Shinichi/Conan see the "Akai" part, without showing us that he saw that, and the last panel of the last page of File 947 will show us that, indeed, he saw that.
  10. I just don't think Gosho wanted to focus on that—this is a mystery series, first and foremost. Any romance that is considered "eehh" by certain fans is because he just wanted to do something with character X that involved a mystery of some sort, and, thus, it came off as "eehh" to said certain fans. I also think users like you have become more against Shinichi and Ran as a couple as the series has dragged on, with how much of the status quo has been preserved for the past 8 and 1/3 years—character developments/progressions have been put on hold.
  11. Don't worry—as I see it, you're doing pretty darn good!
  12. I don't think we've seen two simultaneous murders, period. Props! This is your version of Silent Clash (700–704/578–581), I take it? Looking good, so far.
  13. And that gif was a thank you. Tipping one's hat?
  14. But not too deep: She's cried in File 1 (Case Aftermath), File 9 (Shinichi), File 16 (Case Aftermath), File 48 (Shinichi), File 71 (Shinichi), File 95 (Shinichi), File 143 (Case Aftermath), File 260 (Shinichi), File 334 (Shinichi), File 353/File 354 (Flashback – Case Aftermath), File 379/File 380 (Shinichi), File 428 (Shinichi), File 482 (Shinichi/Case Aftermath), File 650/File 651 (Shinichi), File 727 (Shinichi), File 745/File 752 (Shinichi), File 884 (Flashback – Shinichi) File 921/File 922/File 923/File 924 (Flashback – Frustration/Case Aftermath/Shinichi) and File 931/933 (Zombie Movie and Zombie encounter). Thats a total of 20 times—in a total 27 Files—12 times exclusively due to Shinichi, 4 times exclusively due to the aftermath of a case, 1 time due to Shinichi and the aftermath of a case, and 1 time when the aftermath of a case, Shinichi, and simple frustration all happened across 4 files... and then there were two instances due to zombie movie and a "zombie" encounter. I don't think I missed any, but I could be wrong about that. She cried in 6 of the 130 Files before her second suspicion arc began, cried only once during her second suspicion arc, cried 5 times between her second and third suspicion arcs, cried during her third, just one case-long, suspicion arc, and has cried 7 times since the last suspicion arc. In all, she's cried in 19 of the 273 cases, and 27 of the 945 Files.
  15. Apologies for the double-post. Cross-posting from DCTP forums: Went to http://manhua.dmzj.com/kenan/ to get Volume scans for the sleeves from Volume 67 and Volume 81, as well as the original releases. The site doesn't have Volume 85, so there's just the original file scan of File 899. Does anyone have Volume 85 scans for File 899, Page 2? File 702 Volume 67, File 702 File 899 Volume 85, File 899 File 860 Volume 81, File 860
  16. I made a post on that for the manga cases—let me dig it up.
  17. I don't know how many people already know about this, and/or know what it says, but here's a fan-made File 921, with a different story, made by a user (or users) from Tieba Baidu: http://tieba.baidu.com/p/3734091862?pid=67740615651 I don't think it was ever followed up on.
