  1. Not really. She just cries more than the other characters usually do, which isn't actually much.
  2. If I recall correctly, the case with Itakura and Shinichi's/Conan's attempt to capture Vodka explicitly took place in February, and part of that case, indeed, came out in February of 2002. So, yes, Gosho does adhere to real world seasons as they come and go. I suppose, then, if this calendar was shown to us to hint it's importance in subsequent files of the case, it would play a role in helping them solve the code sheet and getting the password. Still, Gosho actually answered the question of how long it had been since File 1 with the case that came out during the 20th anniversary (Aquarium Case, December 2013–January 2014), so at least that was in his mind. It's not like he ever needed to answer the question in the first place, after all. Even once the end of the manga is reached, cases would have to be cut, weather would have to be changed and all mentions of specific months and dates would need to be shifted/removed (keeping the relevance of the latter two to certain cases in mind for cases that are affected by the weather and months/dates) for a coherent timeline to even begin to be established... and we'd have to do it—I'd say it's 99.9% probable that Gosho has no intent of retconning and rearranging things for the sake of a timeline, once he finally finishes DC.
  3. Irish is a character from a movie—all DC movies are non-canon, so it doesn't matter.
  4. I think we may figure this out come the end of the current case.
  5. He's never really had an internal monologue about it, so we don't really know if he cares or not.
  6. But still not as much as Movie 5. The other movies wish they could emulate Die Hard like that.
  7. If he appears, maybe—depends on how much of the status quo Gosho wishes to keep intact after this case. Given that Gosho revealed certain plot information—information that still preserved the status quo upon revelation—during the last two stories with Shukichi and Yumi, we might still be at an impasse. At this point, though, I'll take any info.
  8. Oh, and then there's that. Speaking of the file in question, if there's a red herring there, then is there a real hint, in the same place (Red herring: Haneda; Hint: Toyoda)?
  9. Missed my point—why does it matter if she's another victim? In my opinion, it doesn't. She's way too mature to be just 12-15 years old. I really don't see any option but her turning out to be the mother of Shuichi, Shukichi and Masumi.
  10. Ah, the inadequacy of pure text communication... probably should've added some emoticons, though.
  11. Of course it should—everything that happened during 1994–1997 is the basis for everything in the series. Honestly, what's one more? Two people is way more than enough—there are people who refused to touch the series because such an impossible thing happened to just one person.
  12. Seems kind of redundant to call for interest and then cry, "BOREDOM!" Here's a better way to go:
  13. Any prior secret nights, for the other movies? If so, what did they entail?
  14. You did not disappoint. In any case, we'll have to wait two weeks for an answer.
  15. I think there might be a Rum-related/BO case in April (around the time The Darkest Nightmare releases, on the 16th)—I think we might just get a better sense of things, then. After all, all we know is that Rum apparently has a prosthetic eye and that there have been varying descriptions given out by various BO members, and that was info given to us in September 2014—it's been a while since Gosho's given us anything, on that front.
  16. This makes Season 23 the shortest season since Season 4 (and maybe a few others, but I'm sure Season 4 was definitely short, in terms of the number of episodes it contained).
  17. Then you're talking about a confession scene with him and Shuichi/Subaru—yes, that hasn't yet happened. In fact, we haven't had a conversation between only Conan and Subaru, with them both speaking to each other like Shinichi Kudo would speak to Shuichi Akai—about the BO, etc.
  18. And that sounds like a good lead-in to Rum's appearance on the scene. Speaking of which, what do you think of Rum, as in a character who's the boss' right-hand?
  19. There, he was essentially saying, "I know," in a way that wouldn't seem suspicious. The last thing Shuichi/Subaru wants to do is someone to find this out—why would he try to prove/make claims about this?
  20. I feel the Bourbon arc should've been comparable to the Haibara/Sherry (176–237/129–175) and Cell Phone (435–498/346–424) arcs—it should've been an interlude. Just like the Haibara/Sherry arc was an interlude between the Conan/Intro and Vermouth arcs and like the Cell Phone arc was an interlude between the Vermouth and Kir arcs, the Bourbon arc should've been an interlude between the Kir and the Rum arcs.
  21. Shinichi/Conan trusts Agasa the most, and even then, he wouldn't ask him to do that. A seven-year-old, no matter how smart? Doubtful, especially if one considers his ego pre-Tropical Land. Are you saying that Shuichi/Subaru really considered the possibility that Shinichi asked Conan to impersonate him, even with what he seems to know about Shiho/Ai?
  22. Man, that was quick. He's already the apprentice. The Bourbon arc would've been 2-3 years long if a bunch of cases were cut, and if certain elements from certain cut cases were grafted onto more important cases (Though one could take this further and apply it to the whole series, actually).
