  1. That's what DC fans have been waiting years for.
  2. Oh, yeah—that's right. I think it was along the lines of "that's impossible" when he was asked if there was an actual Subaru Okiya.
  3. We've got 21 (not including this coming one, for which spoilers are due out today or tomorrow) weeks to go until the movie releases. There'll be two breaks in December, and a few more, spread out for the next couple months. We'll probably be in the 950s by the time Movie 20 comes out. If the case, then, relates to Rum, the file that's supposed to come out on the 18th (or the 20th, if you classify Wednesdays as the release dates) may release early, as was the case with File 894 for Dimensional Sniper. We may be able to figure this out if there's a lead-in case going on, in the weeks leading up to the release—on the other hand, the lead-in to the big Rum case may be the file that comes out immediately after the movie's release.
  4. Honestly, this really could be possible, but you'd think Gosho would've dropped hints of this, after 317 Files/290 Episodes.
  5. And why would Gosho allow the reveal of such a distinctive detail to such an important question in a non-canon movie? You do realize this could be a movie-only BO member, like Irish, right?
  6. Right on the mark. I guess Gosho didn't think this other informant was worth looking into.
  7. But Vermouth was sent by Anokata to tail Shuichi—that qualifies as informing the BO of the FBI's activities. If it's not Vermouth, then Gosho has never resolved this question. I doubt there really was, because this infiltrator would've heard Shinichi/Conan and Shuichi explain the truth about Kir and how they let the BO get her back so she could resume her infiltration for the CIA. They didn't send in an infiltrator after Kusuda killed himself. Are you talking about the scene with Gin, Vodka and Vermouth in the Porsche right after Kusuda kills himself and ended with Vermouth thinking to herself that there was a second silver bullet? Nowhere in that scene does the subject of another infiltrator come up.
  8. No, Vodka asked Gin about an "informant." This was before Vermouth contacted Gin.
  9. He was referring to Vermouth, I think. If not, then it's still something Gosho hasn't explained.
  10. Thing is, Conan doesn't have to wait for a reply—he already knows. Shinichi, on the other hand, does—he's not supposed to know about what Ran said about him. The important takeaway is that she thinks a response isn't necessary—this means that her suspicion that Conan is Shinichi, and that he, as she realized during her first suspicion story (26–29/7), knows that she loves him, is exerting influence on her.
  11. Depends if Shiho started from scratch on APTX 4869 or APTX 4869 was based off of the Silver Bullet research.
  12. They just need to make sure he continues to recognize that turning on them due to Shuichi would ruin everything. That probably is what he has in mind.
  13. Remember—she unintentionally confessed to Shinichi during her first meeting with him as Conan (File 2/Episode 2). Her suspicions of Conan's true identity may be dormant now, but that's all they are—dormant—they're just beneath the surface, very much ready to emerge upon provocation. Since her last suspicion story, and especially during the Bourbon arc, we've gotten signs that her suspicions are quite alive and present, albeit at a point where she's consciously unaware. In responding to Shinichi's confession—and another hint is her saying to Sonoko, when Sonoko asks if she confessed, herself, Ran replies with, "I don't know... do you think I should have?"—she'll have to face her suspicion that Shinichi has been lying to her. She tells Kazuha she doesn't want to reply because she feels that her world "will come crashing down." I think her response may very well tie in to her next suspicion story, which may very well be the last one, considering its been 10+ years and two whole arcs since the last one.
  14. Huh... The things our subconscious can produce—they're really something. Keep that guy's appearance in mind—it's probably just an amalgamation of other characters' appearances plus your notions of the boss, but it's still worth thinking about.
  15. How far along are you in the manga, and/or the anime? What Volume/File or Season/Episode are you at?
  16. By next year, her last suspicion arc (479–483/398–400) will become the halfway point of the manga, and already is the halfway point of the anime, right now.
  17. If not the same day. In fact, isn't that what's happening? Or not?
  18. I hear tumblr's going through a massive overhaul, right now. I think I actually sent you a question, a few months back—I've been meaning to check my messages, on there.
  19. So all the things that would've just gone on deviantart will now be presented over there?
