Hi all, just a query really. I've noticed that Australia is mentioned quite frequently in the manga and anime, Conan seems to know a fair bit about the country too. I'm just wondering if this has some kind of relevance further down the track... without spoiling too much? I recently just caught up on the anime and have started the manga recently

I think that having VIZ media regularly pumping out manga volumes in English says enough, they even gave up on Gintama which I believe has sold more volumes on average I can't speak from personal experience though, manga and anime doesn't have much of an influence in Australia at all

Its very rare but I love seeing Conan work with Haibara, her slowly growing sense of humour that she probably wasn't allowed to have in the BO is great too

I just had a look at the wiki, 2 months per volume means that they really aren't even going to ever catch up to the Japanese version since its like 9 weeks per English volume and an average of 10 weeks for the Japanese release. There doesn't seem to be much point in buying the volumes beyond collection purposes

I was planning on buying what volumes are available (I still may anyway) though I noticed that the names referred to in the VIZ media versions are what was used in the original Funimation DUB (Rachel More, Jimmy Kudo ect) Yeah, just wondering if there is some good translation group (preferably with HD scans) to read the manga from start to the current File. Thanks!

I thought it would have been something like that, an addition of that kind could have been an interest addition though Haven't quite paid attention to the ED's to be fair though, rushing through the series as it is.

She pops up in the ED Koi no Koishite by Mai Kuraki (seasons 21-22) and the ED itself shows this girl with obviousl feelings for Shinichi, and later for Conan (in her child form - after leaving a love note in his locker) I'm just wondering if she has any relevance to the anime itself, and if she does if you could not spoil her involvement. Thanks!

It would be an interesting adventure doing them all at once after I catch up, its just so rewarding getting to one since I'm watching everything including the specials.

I even tried buying some volumes of the anime and Funi just haven't made it available to the western audience I mean they dropped it all those years ago at some episode 100-something in the Dub. I don't really mind... its just a little more enjoyable watching it all in HD. Might just watch through to episode 600 or w/e where DCTP picked it up.
