I still think that rumour spread from the Nagano prefecture to the NPA, since Kansuke uses a very similar description as Kuroda does.

Well, Haibara told Conan exactly what he asks in this chapter: Kouji's name was two below yours on the APTX victim list, which of course must seem odd to him in this chapter, since Kouji died when Shinichi wasn't even born yet.

Sure, she knows his identity, but she wouldn't follow Akai's orders without questions, unlike Camel, who pretty much acts like an obedient goon to Akai.

That Andre is the only FBI agent that both knows Shuichi's secret identity and can be commandeered by Shuichi?

It's not clear yet whether Ai will stay behind or not, the spoilers are not really clear on that. Camel could still be supposed to be her bodyguard while they are out there at the crime scene.

That or he knew Koji, became friends with him, maybe Koji taught Shukichi his first lessons in Shogi, then Koji died and Shukichi was adopted by the Haneda parents seven years later, to secure an heir to the family name, since they might've been lacking one of those after Koji's death. Just a minor point in the timeline, but students are usually 18 when they graduate from high school in Japan, so that point should be 10-11 years ago, shouldn't it?

Do you think she accidentally pocketed a pill of her drug instead of the APTX? Wouldn't she be able to distinguish them? Additionally, Ai says that the drug she made is used as a poison, which wasn't the goal of her research and which is a usage she detests, so it seems like Ai was working on the APTX. Or do you mean she worked on both the APTX and "her" drug?

The NPA supervises all 47 prefectural police departments of Japan, including the Tokyo MPD. The PSB, which Amuro was apparently working for, is a subdivision of the Tokyo MPD, so it is only indirectly related to the NPA. Also, Kuroda says "You're quite well known in the police department, Edogawa Conan". Rumour about Conan could come from the Nagano department itself, not necessarily from the NPA, since Kansuke, Yui and Komei all have expressed that Conan is way smarter than he looks, with Kansuke even saying about Conan: "I have a feeling that the one who is really in control of it all might be him ... he is a terrible monster, that kid..." back in the Red Wall case, way before Kuroda or Amuro were introduced. If Yui even offhand mentions something about Kansuke regarding Conan as very smart, those kind of rumours might spread faster than one can imagine through the Nagano department.

Did you read the flashback case about their first meeting? Because we know that they met in pre-school and not through their parents. They became friends when they were four years old, went to the same school and mostly the same class after that, grew up close to each other and became BFs. You never had a kid in your neighborhood that you kept being friends with for a long time or someone at school?

According to some bloggers the ones asking were decided by a lottery rather than by raising hands, which is why some unprepared/less informed fans got to ask questions. And I don't think Gosho said that the conversation about rats would be resolved/dealt with in this movie.

Yeah, there are some prelude episodes for the later movies, but generally they are separate.

What's so bad about Jirokichi? Sure, he's pretty much a plot device to get ridiculous museum set-ups, but other than that I don't see what's bad about him. Before him we had one heist in DC and two cases where Kid was in the backround the entire and only showed up more (Magic Lovers) or less (Gathering of Detectives) pointlessly at the end. Not very impressive except for the Black Star tbh. And there were great heists with Jirokichi like Midair Walk, Teleportation Magic and Kid vs. Makoto.

Yes, she wants to kill Sherry, but in the conversation between Yukiko and Vermouth it is made very clear, that Vermouth doesn't wish the Org to learn about the whole shrinking thing regardless of whether or not she wants to see Sherry dead. The reason for that is not clear yet, it's probably connected to the whole not aging thing of Vermouth. Bourbon isn't "very near to discover his identity". Bourbon knows Conan is smart, but that's about it, he never made a connection between Conan and Shinichi nor would he ever think about people being able to shrink.

Does he have a reason to? So far, Conan never cared about the identity of her middle brother, we don't even know if he suspects Shuukichi.

The only bad OP of the last few was 40 imo, Greed, Dynamite and Nazo were all really good.
