Very doubtful. Gosho said he didn't want to entangle the storylines of MK and DC any further, because it is "too bothersome" or something. Besides, Gosho said that Rum already appeared around the time of September 3rd, 2014. Even if that would include MK chapters (which it probably doesn't), then it would still disqualify the characters from MK 31-33, since these chapters were released a month after Gosho said that Rum had already appeared somewhere.

Gosho redrew the sleeve scene from the Bowling Alley case for the volume release, which made the middle brother's sleeve in look like the sleeve of Shukichi's shogi attire. (thanks to Kor on DCTP who dug out this picture when I asked him)

[SPOILER DISCUSSION] File 931-935: Zombie Movie Murder Case
Serinox replied to User 4869's topic in Manga series
Well, according to tranlations on DCTP, it simply says "Amuro-san is cool, isn't he?" Could be something, could be nothing, we'll have to see More important is probably the hint "The next case is "K-ON"!", most likely a reference to the seinen manga K-On!, whatever the hell that means for the next case... -

It was alright in my opinion. Better than M17, M16 and M14, but worse than M18 and M15. Even though I got tired of the Kidichi shtick in M8 already...

No, it's not true, your friends trolled you.

[SPOILER DISCUSSION] File 931-935: Zombie Movie Murder Case

But they met Conan's mother (Yukiko in disguise) and she asked Ran and Kogoro to take care of him and Yukiko payed Kogoro an enourmous amount of money as compensation for taking care of him. So, it's not like they don't know anything about them. -

Offering to clean his room is not canon. Anyway, I think you're blatantly misinterpreting the canon material we have, but I don't think arguing will change that, so let's just leave it at that.
-
Did you read the same series that I did? Shinichi is one of the few persons, to which Ran doesn't act all polite and friendly all the time. Read any of the cases with Shinichi and you'll see that she doesn't "act as his pretty little flower" all the time. Shinichi is many things, but he is not selfish. He mostly cares for the well-beings of others more than for his own. And we have no indication in any of the flashback cases, that his ego was always as big like we've seen in the beginning of the series, because it was only then that the newspapers and television started to cover him and give him attention. And Ran knocks that down a notch in the first episode.
-
He bounces of Ran, just as much as he does with Ai, see Locked Room in the Sky, Holmes Revelation and the Aquarium Case for that. And Ai is mostly reduced to call the police as well and herding the DB off, see the upcoming two episodes Three First Discoverers as an example for that. First episode. The fact that she grounds him is established in the first episode as one their dynamics. Other than that, Locked Room in the Sky, Desperate Revival, New York Case, Aquarium Case, Pre-School Flashback and a little bit in the Deduction Battle on the Ski Slope. What do you mean, "she's barely holding on"? She's doing perfectly fine. Also, her dad was a policeman, so it's like she's not being used to close ones having dangerous jobs. Additionally, it's quite a leap to say that Shinichi will continue to work with the FBI after he's back to his true form is a quite a leap, considering they have no jurisdiction in Japan and Shinichi has no intention of leaving his home country, but that's a bit beside the point. Also, I find it funny that you basically argue that Shiho is better than Ran in general, but yet still say that Ran deserves better than Shinichi, but Shiho somehow doesn't.
-
Can she? During cases, she usually doesn't. She even admits in one of the cases that deduction is not her thing and that this way of thinking does not suit her. She helped the kids figure Kobayashi's riddle with the help of Conan's hint and she partly figured out that one case when she made the childish mischievious smile. On the other hand, Ran solved an entire case on her own, without any deduction help from Shinichi. That's not her standard, but it is possible for her. Both are not on his level, but both can keep up. So can Ran, and so does Ran. She does it since they met each other, she admitted that much to Ran and Sera during the pre-school flashback. Ran is more independent than any other teenager in the show. She solely runs a three person household. But you probably meant "emotionally independent". Both Sera and Haibara commend her emotional strength in the series. She hasn't cried because Shinichi is gone for a long, long time now. Last time was File 379. She doing pretty well considering that Shinichi vanished and no person knows where he is. Again, you can't compare "completely disappearing all of a sudden" with "doesn't check in everyday". Imagine if Shinichi and Shiho walked home from school together and Shinichi says that he has something to do and runs off. And then he's gone for a few days before he calls, yet still he won't reappear and no one knows where he is (aka the situation from the beginning of the series.). You think Shiho would just say "Cool, whatever?". No way, of course she would be worried, just like Ran, just like every reasonable person would. Shinichi went off to solve cases without Ran in the past and never did we get any indication that she worried as much as she did in the beginning of the series. No, he wouldn't. It wouldn't make any sense for him to still run after them. If he retains his knowledge, he would act completely differently, to get a better outcome for him. The more logical thing for him to do would be to tell Megure and the other policeman who are still nearby what's going down, which would have more benefits for both him and the fight against the BO. Shinichi is mostly about logic and still following them wouldn't be logical at all.

Nobody. Without Kuroda and Kansuke (both confirmed as not Rum through Gosho's Animal Crossing Hints), there is no suspect at the moment. Of course, you can find characters throughout the course of the series that fit one or even maybe two of the Rum characteristics Ai listed, but no one in the series has had an artificial eye so far. There is not enough material to speculate about Rum's identity without wandering into completely baseless territory atm

Considering how young Sera looked in Ran's flashback, I doubt she cared much if Shinichi furfilled the proper definition of a wizard or a magician. Shinichi unveils a trick that amazes Sera and she calls him a wizard. She probably ran off afterwards (explaining why Ran hears waves when Sera runs off) to tell her family, probably Mary and Shuukichi with her at the beach, about the trick and didn't even ask for Shinichi's name, so she just continues to call him "The Wizard" to her family. It's not like nicknames, especially in that age, are very thought out or make much sense.
-
Are you talking about File 1? Shinichi didn't forget, he admitted he was just joking to tease Ran and in his thoughts he added "How could I possibly forget?"

When that subject came up in the DCTP chatbox, Fuji said that in the Japanese version, the word Haibara uses, which is translated here as "childlike" or "children age", is a Japanese term that refers only to children up to an age of 6-7, and that even the range of 7 to 10 (which is used on the DCW Wiki page for APTX) is wrong and not included in the word Haibara uses in the Japanese version. I don't speak Japanese though, so I just took her word for it.
-
Haibara says in her introduction case, that APTX 4869 always reverts the body back to the status of 6-7 year old, which explains why Haibara is currently the same age as Conan, despite the fact that Shiho is circa two years older than Shinichi. Conan estimates the MG to be around middle school age (12-15), so she must've taken it atleast ~5 years ago. Since that is pretty much impossible considering what Gin says about the drug, it was probably not APTX 4869 that shrunk the MG (if she is a shrunken person at all). Maybe some sort of prototype or a product of a project preceeding APTX 4869?

No, again, Shinichi was the one who suggested to go on a "date" with her there. And I'm not trying to say that his situation is Ai's fault, but still, it is a fact that Shinichi suggested the date and suggested the location.
-
It was Shinichi who chose Tropical Land as the location for their date, not Ran.
