What Was the Last Song You Listened To?

Screaming Females - Hopeless -
Well, I don't think anyone is disagreeing with this part, seeing as how any speculation on when the series will end is "out there" as it is, especially when it's extremely specific. For me, I'd like to see what revelations will come out of the Rum arc since it revolves around someone close to the boss. We could be closer to a conclusion than we think. On the other hand, we might have to deal with even more character introductions, their developments, their love stories, other's love stories, etc. I mean come on, when is Yamamura gonna reunite with his childhood sweetheart, you know we're overdue

Animation wasn't bad. Case was quite boring though, but had a couple funny bits. Nothing special really. Pretty average episode. Looks like the next manga case will be Episode 792-793.

Coincidentally, that would be the one that I manage The participation in the community, unfortunately (despite 415 members) is extremely lacking. It's that way with all of the DC communities on G+. That said, G+ has a lot of neat and non-limiting features that don't extend to many of the other popular social media sites. Hopefully someone will find it of use!

I think it would be extremely unlikely, so no, I don't really want to consider the possibility. I don't think this "mystery" would warrant something like this. I definitely want to see what revelations come from the next two files, but I think what we've seen in this file is more than enough to confirm that Shukichi is the brother. I "might" see myself entertaining that theory if the quote wasn't so specific as to what Shukichi said in File 847.

Here's presumenothing's translation from File 928: Far too many conicidences for him not to be the brother if you ask me, even if we ignore everything up till this point =P Ran asks if they know each other - he answers that Yumi visited his shop (before they moved here) with her boyfriend who wore round glasses p14 - Y: “But it’s mysterious…” “Why do most men with round glasses like eating ramen?” S: “My brother also wears round glasses, he likes eating ramen the most!” Y: “Right? And if the person has stubble, then the chance is almost 100%!” S: “My brother has stubble too! He’s quite good looking, so if he cleaned up a bit, and dressed neatly, he’d definitely be very popular… but he usually just wears wrinkled sports shirts…” Y: “That’s right, he gives people the impression of a homeless and jobless person… yet he’s very smart…” S: “His memory is also outstanding…” Y: “He can remember phone numbers with a glance… and his favourite phrase is… ‘I’m skilful at memorising such things. I’m the best in Japan…’ ” p15 - Y&S: “ ‘No, maybe even the best in the world…’ ” “Eh?”

I always thought the science aspect of the case was particularly neat, so in that regard, I enjoyed it. Despite the case being "old", it's still such a damn tease

I've never really cared for the romance overall, but there are some okay moments throughout the series. It's always been something I can tolerate, as long as the actual cases are interesting enough to hold my attention. I think my biggest issue with how the romance is handled is that it is far too drawn out, and there really isn't that much "progression" (although I suppose this is more or less tailored to the main characters, and a couple others) and I almost, in some instances, see it as a way to delay and stall the plot. I'm just hoping Chiba and Naeko's love story will get resolved soon enough so we don't have to focus on that one much longer. It's especially frustrating since none of us are getting any younger I also didn't mind Shinichi's confession in London. I thought the way he went about it was very fitting for his character. Ai is perhaps my favorite character in the series, but I don't think that she should have a love interest. Knowing the way Gosho has handled romance in the series, would it really do any good for her character? I think there are other ways that Gosho can develop characters rather than give them a seemingly forced love story. I've never really minded Shinichi/Ran, but it's been quite clear since the start of the series. Gosho seems to be saving further developments towards the end of the stories, and given DC's already massive length, makes Shinichi/Ran seem really drawn out. Also doesn't Gosho primarily write childhood romances because he thinks it's easier for others to understand (or maybe for himself to write)?

One of the more enjoyable cases imo Not entirely pleased with the animation itself though. It could easily have been quite a bit better. Well, she did say they were due to pop out any day now, right?
-
Well, it's always pleasant to have a romance story that doesn't last for eons Both parts were good though. Liked the animation!

This is my main concern as well. I'm sure the official release will be polished enough, and since it really doesn't stray far from the original, I probably won't have much of a problem with the song itself. I'd like to see this as well. Might as go that extra mile in rehashing old content

There's a live performance of Opening 41 (Found on Detective Conan - The Red Thread's FB fanpage)

1. I'm positive it's an email address, or that's at least what it's referred to most of the time. You can check out this topic: http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/forum/topic/5521-is-the-bosss-number-a-phone-number-or-an-email-address/ 2. The number is #969#6261 (not 0858, Tottori), though it sounds similar to a Kurayoshi area code (Gosho also used this number in particular to prevent prank calls if I'm not mistaken, I think he also chose the number upon calling home) - Gosho said that there is no connection between the two, although we don't really know if he is completely serious or not. There is some more information in the translating interview topic regarding this. 3. The number is mentioned afterwards, but I'm not sure exactly when the last time Conan referenced it was? I think it's brought up again in the Clash of Red and Black series. As mentioned before, there are quite a few people that know the number.

I suppose it depends on what you mean by a "good reason". Conan was going to involve Takagi iirc, but then changed his mind because he didn't want to get him involved and killed. (That's probably reason enough for Conan since he doesn't want to risk someone else's life). Quite sure he said that Takagi was the only one who would act in that instance as well and would need further proof, more than just a random email address to convince the police to make a move. Ai also pretty much convinces him that he shouldn't open "Pandora's box" either, and that the address is too dangerous to be put to use. In any case, doesn't the FBI, or at least Akai probably know the number? Kir and Ethan both knew iirc, although they were CIA, and one of them is deceased It's probably another way for Gosho to stall plot progression.

Episode 10 Pro Soccer Player Blackmail Case Also, welcome to DCW!

785 was pretty good, although it's still hard to follow since I know nothing of Shogi. Not nearly as confusing as Heiji's Code of Love though. I got lost in that one quite a few times.

The sad reality really. It doesn't help that Crunchyroll picked up the series as of 754, and that's pretty unfriendly to newcomers. Maybe if CR had the backlog more people would be willing to start the series, but there's nothing really justifying that CR should even delve into the past the episodes. It's great that CR did pick up DC at all though, hopefully it stays. Doubt it, but it might help if they also tagged it as Detective Conan, but I'm not sure if there would be certain legalities involved using a simple tag

Looking forward to checking it out later. Have really enjoyed the pacing so far! The changes with Masumi have been quite interesting.

Been a LONG time since I've heard that song. The 80s had some great pop music. Here's another new wave classic =P -
