Hey btw, does anyone know if Souka scans have gone on a hiatus again or not?

This case seems cool ^^ We don't have three detectives in one case too often after all Takagi and Megure for this one I guess.

1) Could it be that the one who taught Sera was Bourbon? 2) Why should we even bother thinking about the meeting of Bourbon and Sera? I really hope Conan and Bourbon get a chat-in-secrecy moment. 3) I don't understand one thing at all, is Bourbon an ally or an enemy? Or maybe neither, and just an enemy of the enemy? I mean he lives so close to Conan yet Conan isn't scared of him, like he could easily kidnap Conan and bring out Akai if he were a bad guy If he is an ally, why doesn't Akai meet him face to face? To hide where he lives? It doesn't even seem like Bourbon is trying to find Akai. I understand that Gosho wants to keep Bourbon matters in status quo, but still this plot seems to make little sense IMO.

Might just be a table, doesn't look enough like a shogi board to me, besides I doubt the anime staff are going to add such extremely subtle clues, not many people like you find them Looking at it again, it also seems a bit too tall for a shogi board, I am sure he won't be playing while standing, also it doesn't have the place to keep captured pieces. There also seems to be something black right above the pone, on the table probably, which I guess is a coffee cup maybe.

Anyway, if there is going to be some significant plot development by April we should be getting bits of it now, an Amuro appearance would do just that Besides IMO it's quite weird that he comes for work everyday just below Kogoro's house and yet he never appears, if the plot were to make sense he should appear more frequently than even the DB.

Yup, I know that. What I meant is that the reason most people she heard the rumors from didn't discuss which eye it was, was because it was not too evident. And if it is not evident we might not even notice it. Of course I am not saying someone with only one eye would not be a suspect, of course he or she would, I am just saying everyone else could also be suspects. There are literally too many and too few suspects right now. Too many because anyone could be RUM, and too few because we don't have any evidence and the suspects don't seem to be RUM due to several reasons. Therefore we need more developments on this, which I am anticipating would come soon.

Obviously I don't expect any major reveals, in fact I don't expect anything plot relevant not yet in manga from the movie. I am just excited about it because this confirms we will get moving with the plot soon, latest by April of next year. Of course an identity reveal would be too much to hope for, but we will at least get a list of suspects. It is like being stuck in a line for hours and finally it starts moving. The point is, even though he appeared, we have no clue who he might be. He might be any random not-so-important looking character, so that hint is pretty insignificant. It might be someone who we know very well(probably not, I don't think any of the suspects make enough sense) or it might be someone who we have no idea about. However, I don't think it was a fake clue mentioning Lum, simply because I have never seen Gosho do something as pointless as that, and also because it was not as big a clue many think it was. Yup, and I also believe any of the "nice" main characters would not be antagonists, it is just very unlike of how Gosho thinks. I don't think that is what Agasa's little trick was meant for, it should probably be just something irrelevant. However, I mentioned this somewhere about the eye, but imo we should not base our suspects only by their eyes, like Heizo, Kuroda or Kansuke. There is a big difference between not having an eye and having a fake eye, if RUM has a fake eye we very well might not notice it(also the reason Haibara couldn't tell which one is fake). In conclusion, I am hoping for some major developments by April

Btw any idea when the next file(936) would come out? It said we had a one week break, does anybody know if it would extend or not? I also thought this case would be a little longer, so that it ends closer to Halloween Wonder if the next case would be another spook case or even another Heiji case maybe We might also get a BO case soon, by new year, and if not then by April next year, because the movie is going to have RUM

Just saw there is an AC hint that said RUM is gonna be in movie 20 Does that mean we will get a reveal like movie 18? ^^

Any predictions for the solution of the case? I don't really get the clue that hack detective gave to Conan and Heiji, just makes me think it says instead of someone jumping off the window someone walked downstairs(maybe in zombie disguise) and then climbed up? That would make it similar to what happened to that bead. I also wonder if the zombie recording(the one in which that dead guy killed the woman) was filmed before that guy died. Any opinions on that?

Could the video's trick have any similarity to "Everyone Saw"?

I know this is obvious but I will say it anyway. On page 8 Ran and Kazuha find that dead guy there, that means he probably was moved when everyone was distracted, but how and when? I doubt it is easy to move a body that fast. I still haven't read the entire translated file, hopefully I will read that and the post above by tomorrow

I am not sure how that could be done. To be able to fake his death and kill the woman, he must have been alive the entire time, of course I don't think Hattori and Conan would think someone alive is actually dead OMG are you Heihachiro from ep. 67? xD

Didn't get time to read all of it yet, but does it remind anyone else of "The Evil Spirit Appears on An Unlucky Day" case(files 494-498)? I can't help but think the trick is similar, though we have no proof that there is a twin. In that case maybe somebody else had a plastic surgery or something, like the "Murderer, Kudo Shinichi" case. Would make perfect sense then, what do you guys think?

Thanks Jimmy! So the spoilers for 933 are gonna come out by tomorrow right? Well, I actually mean it probably wouldn't be as exciting anymore... that's also probably the reason why we haven't had a suspicion case for long, we know Conan is going to somehow make up things and prove to not be guilty, so not much suspense there is all that I meant Yeah, well as I mentioned Gosho didn't think it is something too important, IMO ep. 43 was a masterpiece and that parent suspicion case was just made to introduce shinichi's cool parents in a cool way! From a real life point of view it doesn't make sense though that she will never even try to contact them for so long, not because she wants Conan to leave, but just out of curiosity maybe. She also doesn't seem surprised to learn that Conan and Shinichi know each other so well, and they supposedly secretly talk to each other on the phone all the time. Another thing is that Gosho makes it seem as if as soon as there is one way to trick her she forgets everything, what I mean is for eg. when Ran made up a story about one of her school's teachers getting married, Conan said ah that gorilla got married or something like that. Even though Agasa voiced as Shinichi and called her, did she really forget about it? Like how on earth could Conan know?Surely it's not that Shinichi told him, because that would mean they talk to each other a LOT for Conan to know something that minor, in which case it is suspicious because until only a few days before that Shinichi was with Ran a lot yet never mentioned Conan. In conclusion, I am sure there are quite a few minor flaws in this part of the plot, but there is not much that can be done about it, and it isn't anything important for the rest of the plot so Gosho probably decided to not think too much about it Though in general it does seems Ran is quite convinced about shinichi and conan being different so not a big deal Sorry for going way out of topic though ^^

By DC timeline it was just a few days after Shinichi shrank, and what is even more unusual is that they were very curious about Conan's parents until then, but suddenly after that never cared about them, like not even try to contact them, or say hi, or whatever. Yet of course it doesn't really matter much.

Yup, sera and bourbon were both introuced at similar times, probably to make sera seem a little bit suspicious and a suspect of being bourbon. I agree with what you said, and my opinion on that would be that DC is running out of ideas. I mean cases like the red woman or the treasure chest case, the romance novelist case and perhaps even the recent condiments case wouldnt be as interesting without Sera, IMO the treasure chest case would be an AO level case without Sera. Same would apply to some Bourbon appearances... another example is of course the blog case which wouldnt really have been significant without a Kuroda appearance. In other words, they are making important and mysterious characters make random appearances just to keep cases interesting, nothing wrong with it because I personally don't expect any exceptionally brilliant cases any soon, and they of course can't reveal much about the characters because then the series will end much sooner.

Ran getting suspicious about Conan is now getting as repetitive as Kaito disguising as Shinichi I guess we are fine without it for now ^^ What intrigues me is how Kogoro and Ran didn't ask Conan about his parents, or at least tried to contact his parents. I mean it isn't normal for a couple to leave their child with someone they have never met before for almost TWENTY an entire year Guess we will not see that until the final revelation. Yeah seems like that is the only explanation. BTW, does anyone know if there are any plans for a break yet? I guess we don't have one this week right?

yeah xD Yeah I agree with that, she does not at all seem to be like what a BO member should be like, she clearly doesn't have enough intelligence to be the BO #2. RUM aside, she probably doesn't have to do with either BO, or FBI or even CIA, because even if she is putting up an act, why would she act as a maid? It just doesn't make sense, and same for Shuukichi, I don't think Gosho would make him one of the guys just out of respect to Yoshiharu Habu Let's hope we get a plot relevant case soon, whether it is Akai family related or BO related doesn't matter

Yeah probably, I am sure that has happened multiple times before...
