I know there are other posts about favorite movies, but I did check and found that there weren't any posts with polls. I just thought it would be fun to see which movie is most popular! ;D The previous post was locked but.. this doesn't have to be a discussion page - it can be for voting only! ^^;

How many episodes must I watch in order to fully understand the 13th movie (The Raven Chaser)?? Unlike the other movies (1~12), the 13th was a bit hard to understand, with Vermouth, Chianti, and all the new Black Organisation members that I still haven't really heard of (am on Episode 251).. : P

Which is your favorite Detective Conan Movie so far? ; ) Please vote and state why! ~ ps. I think I posted this in the wrong section but don't know how to move it.. T_T

I chose "movies" because the movies are much longer and usually have a brilliant plot : P OVAs are also great but personally, I think they are too short : ( I'm not really sure what "Magic Files" are, though.. Why didn't they just call them OVA too?

Kaitou Kid <3 Shinichi is also my favorite- Conan as well, but as -la vanille- said, it's annoying to see Kogoro, Sonoko and even Agase to get all the credit. I like it when Conan steps out of the crowd and deal with the culprit himself! I also like it when he's solving a case with Heiji ; ) Only times he's acting more like Shinichi than an elementary school kid.. ^^ My least favorite would probably be Kogoro, only because he's so.. stupid! x'D If i were him, I would seriously have noticed how I never seem to remember solving cases and would be more suspicious!

You know you're addicted when: 01. you've made an account on this site. 02. you've seen over 200 consecutive episodes. 03. you're trying out tricks from in Detective Conan in your room. 04. you're watching episode after episode, even though you have exams coming up in a few days. 05. you've started reading Sherlock Holmes and is finding more in-depth information on Conan Doyle. 06. you're planning on naming your future kids Shinichi, Ran, Ai, Heiji, Kaitou, etc.etc.etc. 07. you're trying to be detective-smart 08. you dream about Detective Conan. 09. you're looking for more info on characters from Detective Conan. 10. you're observing people on the bus or the subway- trying to figure out what kind of a person they are. 11. you're thinking about crime. 12. you want to turn into a kid with the drug as well ;P

I'm hoping that Conan would find the black organization, pwn them and turn back into Shinichi. Hopefully, the fact that he was Conan would be "told" to everyone around him. That way, he won't have to start ignoring Ayumi, Mitsuhiko and Genta, and that way, there would be no more secrets! : ) A happy, clean ending : P Why not? ^^ Oh right, and with Kaitou Kid. Hmm... Well, maybe he can be "friends" with Shinichi : P Or maybe that's not possible. ...

HOW I STARTING WATCHING DETECTIVE CONAN First I thought Detective Conan was lame : P But I happened to watch it at some friend's place because he really wanted to and when he told me there were like over hundreds of episodes, I thought maybe I should watch it too, just for the sake of it.. I never understood the plot because I only saw clips of Detective Conan where a small boy would be "shadowed" by an adult version of himself (gosh that got me so confused) <-- these "shadowed" scenes were, now that I think of it, when he was thinking; you know how they'd sometimes show Shinichi thinking as well.. So, out of curiosity, I watched from the first episode. After I finally understood what had happened, I continued watching. The first few episodes were a bit childish, I thought, but then as I continued watching and watching... It started to become interesting! And then the movies came along and that wow-ed me.. I mean, I've known and heard of Detective Conan practically all my life but it has only been "recently" that I really started to watch it and understand it! DETECTIVE CONAN EFFECT It really seems to keep me from doing things I'm supposed to do : P Guess that's the problem with being addicted to ANYTHING really, but I honestly hate being addicted to virtual/unrealistic things- I feel that it depresses me afterwards. I'm the type that can get addicted to things very easily. In a way, it can both be useful and dangerous, but I seem to be continuously "attracted" to useless things and not anything USEFUL.. Ok now I'm babbling, sorry : P

All my friends think it's lame and I don't blame them really xD but I still continue trying to convince them that it really ISN'T that childish! I mean, the deductions are pretty awesome and the movies are just.. great!

1. Detective Conan It has many series and episodes and they're all funny and real smart! : ) 2. Kuroshitsuji I wouldn't rate it as the best manga but it was definitely a great anime! <3 [Can't think of any more anime's right now..] 3. The Girl Who Leapt Through Time [Movie] A great movie! For those who haven't seen it, seriously, watch it. It's funny, cute and so sweet! 4. Death Note I honestly don't like the anime adaption but it's my FAVORITE manga!! The movies were also pretty good (especially the last one <3) 5. Gakuen Alice Again, dislike the anime adaption but a cute manga : ) Although it seems to be getting a bit depressing towards the end...

I really do hope they make it official, and hopefully they'd make Kuroba Kaitou a BIT less annoying..! NOTE! I seriously LOVE Kaitou Kid, especially when he's doing all his tricks and is looking all awesome and cool, but not when he's living up his daily life- being tortured by fish, acting like some trouble maker, etc. And I personally think the "love story" between Kuroba Kaitou and Aoko is too similar to Ran and Shinichi's! :/

Japanese! I consider the English dubbed version just.. weird. Yes, like everyone else said, the names change (although they DID kind of match it up well) and the voices get a bit messed up. Parodies are the best with English though xD

And if you don't write disclaimer, the sound is often taken away as well.. :/ It'd be great if we could watch the series here on this site, but it seems as if that's not possible.. Could I ask why? I checked forums to find the reason behind it but there aren't any explanations to why it doesn't work to watch.. Do we have to pay or something, like every other sites?

Honestly, not a huge fan of Detective Conan openings or endings but some of them can be real good! ;D For the openings, I would say: 1. OP 15 - "Hoshi no Kagayaki yo" 星のかがやきよ 2. OP 27 - "Magic" 3. OP 01 - "Mune-ga doki doki" 胸がドキドキ and as for the ending: 1. ED 01 - "Step by Step"

It's really hard to pick the BEST episode, but i really liked (not in order): a ) Episode 403~404 "The Mysterious Angel's Mansion" 不思議な天使の館 It had a really sweet ending and Conan was incredible : ) b ) Episode 472~473 "Young Kudo Shinichi's Adventure" 工藤新一少年の冒険 Shinichi's past! c ) Episode 219 "The Gathered Detectives, Shinichi Kudo vs Kaitou Kid" 　　　　　　　集められた名探偵！工藤新一ＶＳ怪盗キッド d ) Episode 57 "Holmes Freak Murder Case" ホームズ・フリーク殺人事件 The episode Hattori finds out about Conan's true identity e ) Episode 76 "Conan VS Kaitou Kid" コナンＶＳ怪盗キッド First Kaitou Kid appearance! f) Episode 238~239 "Osaka 3K's Case" 大阪”３つのK”事件 Conan was awesome! [There ought to be more- just can't think of all of them now!] I also think I'm going to like Episode 356 (starring Kaito Kid), Episode 284 (Chinatown Deja Vu) and 286~289! ^^

ah, i see! But it was a bit annoying because it appeared as if they didn't try too hard in making their voice sound different from the voice they used to play the role of Conan or Haibara; in a way, it seemed as if they weren't serious with the role of Aoko or Akako because it was such a minor role in that episode! Do you know if it is the same voicing as the episode for the anime adaption of Magic Kaitou? ( sorry, don't really bother check myself.. ^^; )

This OVA was really captivating and was a good overview of another future Shinichi must face if things don't go as expected. But if that really happened, I'm betting on that Shinichi would've found a better ending, as in, he would have told Ran a bit earlier of his true identity and maybe even start living up as an elementary school detective, outsmarting the old "Shinichi"! It was also amazing to see how much of an influence Conan was to Ayumi, Mitsuhiko and Genta (they even started a Detective Club in High School) and even to the cold-hearted Haibara who had become a real part of the group in the OVA. I hope Conan would quit with the stungun sometime soon though.. Lets hope he won't continue confusing the poor Mori Kogoro up til High School!
