why are there two "zu"s in both of the (s) and (t) lines , do they have different uses ?

in some episode which was about a theatre club murder, it was said that the murderer was Kaito kid, but the one who was said to be Kaito kid had darker skin and was arrested at the end of the episode, then how come did that happen while that in the same season there was a 1-hour special episode about Kaito kid. I am sorry I can't really remember the episode number nor the season but I believe it was after the 100th episode
