That's definitely the answer for that part. How did you find that out? If that's true, then the culprit and the explanation for the using too much condiments should be... -
[SPOILER DISCUSSION] File 928-930 Ramen revisited
Chekhov MacGuffin replied to User 4869's topic in Manga series
Borrowing from DCUniverseAficionado, the outline of the three suspects are... The female suspect is a hostess and added too much vinegar. She had one bowl. The younger male suspect is a "part-timer," and added too much soy sauce to his gyoza. He has a bunch of small things on dishes with a cup of something. The older male suspect is an "employee." and added too much pepper. He ordered two bowls this time which was different. Each one had a different way of pouring and handling their condiments. The female suspect held hers right handed and only asked for more vinegar once she was out. The younger male suspect shook his bottle vigorously and asked for a new soy bottle even though he had some left. The older male suspect tapped his pepper can with his right hand only asking once he was out. The culprit took a section of hose with him (2m long 3 cm in diameter, like garden hose) and threw it at Yumi. Neither the picture nor Yumi mentions it having an attached nozzle, even through the shadowman is shown spinning a hose. There were signs of tape on the hose on one end, but no blood. The victim's garden hose was missing. For some reason the culprit was spinning the hose like a lasso in highly visibly right in front of where the victim was killed. Also, the house of the victim was laid to waste, but the culprit wasn't carrying much of anything besides the hose. That must mean a very targeted robbery of something small. ... I kind of wonder if what was stolen was something small like a loose diamond or a ring and was hidden in the hose first (where it got stuck) and then one of the ramen restaurant containers when the police search was launched unexpectedly. The suspect has been using too much in order to retrieve the item. That doesn't sound like a good plan though because someone else could find it at the bottom of the container if it was used completely. In that case pepper man is the most suspicious for having two bowls and an opaque container but this idea seems kind of half-baked right now, -
Shuukichi Haneda Discussion Thread
Chekhov MacGuffin replied to Chekhov MacGuffin's topic in Manga series
Gosho's habit since the Eisuke arc is to begin dropping lots of more obvious hints right before the solution comes out. He has been remarkably consistent about it since the Bourbon arc. I think it's very likely we will have the "solution" at the end of this file case. My guess is Shuukichi will come in to have Ramen while Sera is there. -
Shuukichi Haneda Discussion Thread
Chekhov MacGuffin replied to Chekhov MacGuffin's topic in Manga series
I am expecting Shuukichi to appear at the end of the case. The clues about Shuukichi being the middle brother have gotten so obvious that I expect the solution will show up soon. The real question is does Shuukichi know anything about Akai at the moment? (At this point Okiya could stop in for takeout and I wouldn't bat an eye. Might as well have all the Akais in one place.) -
[Spoiler Discussion] File 925-927 Yoko and Higo's date

That was a pretty difficult trick. I didn't get the answer this time. -
I live in the United States and the only language I can speak and write fluently is English. The only phrase I know in Chinese is "妖魔鬼怪快啲走" which is spoken by the character Uncle from the cartoon Jackie Chan Adventures to banish evil things. Here is a list of all the character names as we spell them in English. Please be aware that some characters have two names listed: The one on the left is the Japanese name spelled out into English letters (romanji), and the one on the right is an Americanized name that the company which publishes Detective Conan in English uses. We use the romanji Japanese names here because more people are familiar with them than the American names. This may sound like a strange habit, but it is because Detective Conan was not very popular in America and was quickly cancelled from American television (and also in other English-speaking countries too). Most people who read Detective Conan in English got used to the subtitles made by fans which used the romanji Japanese names. Each character on that page has an article about them. At the bottom of each article is a table that lists how the name is written the Chinese way. The reason I knew your true meaning is because most Chinese people use Pinyin for Japanese names that use hanzi/kanji. Your username is "Chinese" and you called a character "Doctor Ali". All I had to to was use the wiki to figure out which doctor's name is "Ali" in Pinyin.

People who speak English say the character named 工藤新一 is "Kudo Shinichi". People who speak Chinese say the character 工藤新一 is "Gōngténg Xīnyī". We use the Japanese pronunciation for all the names because the author of Detective Conan is Japanese. If the names I wrote are not familiar then it is probably because you are using Pinyin (拼音) to translate the names from Chinese. "Ali" is how a Chinese person translates 阿笠 into English. A Japanese person would write "Agasa". People who speak English only use Pinyin for translating Chinese names. Japanese names are translated into English with rōmaji (ローマ字). For an English-speaking person, it does not matter that Chinese and Japanese use some of the same characters (汉字). We spell foreign names based on how they are pronounced in their native language. If I were writing to a Chinese person about the man in the picture below I would spell his name "Zhuge Liang" or "Kongming". If I were writing to a Japanese person I would spell it "Shokatsu Ryou" or "Koumei". If I were writing to a Korean, I would use "Jegal Ryang" or "Gong Myeong". If I were talking to another English speaker, I would use the the Chinese way because the man is from China. If you are having trouble with understanding English, maybe the chinese forum http://bbs.aptx.cn/ will be easier to understand.

I finally got around to looking at Taiko Meijin and I couldn't make a call either way on Shuukichi's opponent's eyes.

Professor Agasa (博士阿笠) is one of the characters that Aoyama Gosho has specifically announced is not the boss. The complete list of characters that we know are not the boss because Gosho said so are: Agasa, Kudo Yuusaku, Conan, Ran, Vermouth, Shiratori, Fusae Kinoshita Campbell, James Black, Sonoko, Ayumi, Genta, Mitsuhiko, Samizu Kichiemon, and Gin. Eri is "not involved with the Black Organization". I have no problem. Is your javascript enabled?

The forum syntax hates commas, that's why. It messes up every time there is an unusual character like that. Try this.

I'll vote Shinichi. But I prefer Heiji more.
-
I am still on the fence about this after so many years. I feel like there should be a theory article about this. There is quite a bit of for and against for sure. I do think Kogoro has a side of his personality wily enough to have hidden his knowledge from Conan for this long. Regardless of whether or not he knows now, I do think he will find out before the end of the manga and the showdown with the boss.
-
I think I would have had Heiji remain more of a rival, and maybe not have included Kazuha at all. I think it would have been interesting to have a sort of Hakuba-like rival that is trouble for Shinichi both romantically and during a case. Unlike Magic Kaito where Hakuba with Aoko basically has no chance because Kaito is always around, Ran is isolated from Shinichi. It would be interesting to have a Hakuba-like Heiji offering Ran genuine emotional support while Shinichi is "away" and then falling in love with her. That would have had the potential for a real dramatic conflict and showdown, especially if altHeiji found out Conan was Shinichi and still decided to bypass him to try to win Ran's heart anyway.

Which IP are you talking about? In general to take legal action against an IP they need to be committing some sort of crime or infringements before contacting the ISP for discovery is worthwhile. It also needs to be serious enough to be worth the time and effort. Also legal action is worthless if it isn't going to be effective. Usually none of the above are true for spammers or vandals. Submitting spam links/vandalism to a forum isn't illegal as far as I know, just obnoxious. Most spammers come from places like Pakistan where even big companies have trouble taking legal action. It isn't worth my time or effort to try to navigate a foreign legal system to fight a few advertising links. It is also unlikely to be effective because spammers just switch internet providers when they get the kick anyway. There is no hope of stopping spammers on their end unless you are a big company with sway and cash to burn. It's hard enough to report abuse even to American companies and have them take notice. It is more effective just to blacklist IPs locally and then submit the offending IPs to spam lists that hopefully will cause many places to eventually blacklist the ISP until it cleans the spammers out (and there are many ISPs that never do because they like the revenue they get from spammers.) That said, it would be would be super nice to be able to autoblock/autohide all messages from particular IP ranges or providers on the forum. We can do that on the wiki when there is abuse. There is one spammer from Pakistan that always uses the same two /16 blocks which no one else uses.

II didn't edit that page, but maybe it's because they are Blu-ray quality and not just regular DVDs like the older movies would have been?
