I liked the other special version better. This one just doesn't have the same soul or drama. Toichi's death on the roller coaster makes it seem like he is going to turn up alive. That was a really awkward scene. We'll see how they handle Blue Birthday.

I hope this raven guy turns into a legitimate rival or enemy. I'd hate for it to be like the Nightmare/Jack Connery situation that completely resolves in just a few chapters.

The Facts has an updated remix that hasn't been released on CD yet. There a quite a few songs like this unfortunately.

There wouldn't be any suspense left then, if Haibara reveals everything at once. It's better (for the readers and for Conan) to know info gradually for suspense and thrill purposes. There's a storyline after all, it's not like everything about BO will be revealed just like that. Exactly this. Haibara's silence is a deliberate way to limit information and prolong the story. It was less obvious in the beginning where Haibara's personality matched up with her actions and she didn't trust Conan's skill. Now it just mostly seems like a game where Haibara will give info, but only if Conan has something concrete like a name.

So Fujiwara pointed out it's weird that RUM is always capitalized whenever characters discuss Kir's message. This is strange because BO names are almost always written out in katakana not in English capital letters. Fujiwara suggested that might be because it is an abbreviation or initials rather than the name of a BO agent. It was Akai who assumed that Kir was referring to a BO agent in her three letter message. As for the BO operative named Rum who is second in command, I imagine he will appear now, regardless of what Kir meant. When Conan or Ai says a BO name it summons them instantly into the plot. I hope this guy is loyal to the BO; Rum is a liquor so he should be a man. There are almost more spies now than there are loyal BO.

Hmm. I've have kept a list of questions I'd like to ask Gosho for a while. These two I think are the most answerable in that they are about subjects that aren't too touchy, and hard to non-answer. •Why did a delinquent-type like Kogoro join the police force? Where is the rest of Kogoro's family and why do they never visit or get talked about? •What are the name origins for "Miyano", "Shiho", "Akemi", "Elena", and "Atsushi"? Edit: The name Ooguro/Daikoku Rentarou (大黒 連太郎) appeared in same set of guestbooks that Shiho Miyano, Vodka, and Gin also signed in the Mermaid immortality arrow case. That same name was also used for a building that had a Black Organization meeting place which was blown up in Tequila's case. Can you explain the significance of this name?

I guess we can probably drop the spoiler boxes for now. Fujiwara pointed out that RUM, unlike all the other BO who have appeared so far, is written in uppercase English letters in all of the conversation bubbles. Other BO have their names written out phonetically in katakana. Fujiwara suggested RUM might be initials or an abbreviation for something, rather than a codename of an agent. It was Akai who assumed RUM was meant to be a warning of an active agent. Kir might have meant something else.

Conan helped with Akai's fake death trick in the first place and Conan's mom and Agasa helped set up the Okiya disguise. It would be hard to believe neither of them told Conan! Second, Conan wouldn't have allowed Okiya to stay at Shinichi's place right next to Haibara if he wasn't sure Okiya was Akai. I think Conan didn't want Akai knowing that he was Shinichi, but that's a different issue.

Definitely get whatever you think is cool. Skyechan would be the person to ask about Conan stuff. She could tell you what is hard to find outside of Japan.

I wonder if this implies the next movie will be Kaitou Kid related? Usually Kid stuff picks up in the anime and manga department when it is a Kid movie, and it has been a while since the last kid movie (14). The average gap between kid movies is 4.5 movies based on releases so far.

I have been here the whole time, just no commenting on files. I have to update all my old theory stuff. Some interesting points about Sera being British have been brought up that are worth taking into consideration. I still have not heard convincing proof about the child being Sera's mom btw, but I haven't read all the latest theories.
