In the restaurant, Akai was probably doing triple duty. Ran, who was with Conan, grabbed the passing "Araide" to go to the restaurant where Sato was having her omiai. That was probably a flag for Akai since both Ran and Conan's pictures with strange captions showed up on Vermouth's dartboard reasons the FBI can't fathom. Akai went to check it out in case something was up. I imagine the emphasis was on Vermouth. He left after it seemed like something trivial because he didn't want to be seen by Vermouth. Although this hasn't been brought up the person on the bus Akai said never showed was Sherry. Also Vermouth went in disguise between the Pisco case and Desperate revival. You can tell from Jodie's later conversation. Also, one of the mini hints shows up, Araide switched from basketball club to drama club.

Based on what I'm seeing here http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Volume_1-10 it seems to be a list imported from the one on Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Case_Closed_volumes_%281%E2%80%9320%29 (or this list was imported to Wikipedia. I don't know.)

The letter has arrived two times previous, but there is no indication of a countdown. Does this mean the circumstances weren’t correct for the murderer on Hoshino’s last two birthdays? It is raining this time which may make a difference. Karube Teigo has a foldable umbrella he kept with him. He put it in his jacket even though it is wet. Furugaki Rinsaku has a cane and kept his raincoat. Suou Chiaki has carpet swatches. Oume Gakumichi pushed the cart in with the cake. Hoshino didn’t like something as she blew out the candles. Was it something written on the cake with glow in the dark frosting? Was it something that shouldn’t be in the cake? Was it something to do with her pocketwatch which she was holding open while she blew out the candles that several of the suspects had just handled? The guy who died managed the job of three clock technicians currently. His overwork/death is probably the motive for the crime.

The problem that is the Raven Chaser isn't canon.

I like the reunion with the Black Org case too. How far are you from finishing?

I think I recognize you from somewhere.

Yeah...that's what I was always thinking. Maybe the Boss disguised himself as Agasa. He wants something from the Kudo's I guess. And since they became good friends, he got his opportunity! Hey, it was just a guess... We know a bit about his family. Agasa lived in Japan while his family lived overseas while he was in elementary and middle school. They moved to Japan soon after the end of fall term of his sixth grade after he met Kinoshita Fusae. Agasa may have changed his address when they arrived. The source is manga chapter 410 pages 08-10. There's more on the Agasa wikipage: http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Agasa#Childhood_and_relatives

She would take a public form as Chris for a few reasons, one is that disguising as an older and older person is harder and requires more makeup, the risk of a revealing accident increases. (Rain, fans touching face, something falls on her head, etc) Second, and perhaps more importantly is that Sharon has picked up heat from the FBI (Much later edit: Why would Jodie pay attention to Sharon's funeral otherwise?) The FBI correctly figured out Sharon was Vermouth (Much Later edit: Until Jodie found out, they may not have known Vermouth's codename or even if she was Jodie's father's killer), but by becoming Chris, suddenly she is now too young to have committed the crime 20 years ago. The FBI is going to need to start over again and build a strong case that they are the same person before they can haul her off. Jodie's investigation has made that possible now and Vermouth wasn't counting on her doing as well as she had.The second part of your objection doesn't make much sense to me because basically "Chris" hadn't existed, and had gone from an extremely secretive lifestyle, only appearing for interviews and acting movies, to a public one as soon as Sharon died. Why couldn't Sharon appear the same way? The "real person" who existed before Sharon was Sharon's Mom who died on the day of Sharon's debut. Not all stars are born from stars if that is what you mean. If Sharon's mom was not an actor as well (she may have been), Vermouth is, according to Hattori, gorgeous and she acts well. As Sharon, she could have made it under her own power to stardom.

I certainly didn't write them all. Of the ones I listed, had a major hand in Scar Akai, the theory trio, and Fusae Cambell. A few of the others I helped with a bit, and the rest were entirely the effort of other hard working DCwikians.

What is the connection between Gin and Sherry?
Chekhov MacGuffin replied to Kiel95's topic in General
Part of it is because she was extremely young. We know she was back in Japan at 13 and she may have left even younger than that. She would probably be well advanced gradewise past her age, and when people are young, the difference in age makes a big difference when it comes to relationships and friends. How many seventh grade friends (~12 years old) did you have when you were in high school? How many when you were in university? Add on top of that she is foreign. And just to compound the problem, even if she went to somewhere normal, the Org is going to be watching her and telling her what to do. No doubt they would seclude her from the surrounding people. Haibara herself said she always ate lunch alone, which is a pretty good indicator of having few friends. -

My feeling about it is Shiho didn't know better and probably saw him as a protective figure. Later, she became more mature and realized that he is someone you wouldn't want to touch with a ten foot poll, so she dumped him. My guess is that talking with her sister probably helped her understand what a more normal relationship is like and what to aim for.I'm basing this on the observation that Haibara came onto to Kudo very quickly at first, which I think was because of his protective and reliable personality which enabled him to protect her, as well as being a nice guy. Lately she seems to have backed off him a bit which coincides with her gaining more confidence in herself and making her decision to not run away. I think she likes Shinichi now more for the kind of person he is than for his ability to protect her which she valued early on. -

He always had silver/white hair. The silly animators messed that up. Basically though if you cut out the hair, his face looks like Akai's. -
I know there are a bunch of new pages that are in decent shape. You can see a list of new pages here (The list doesn't go back too far though): http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Special:NewPages Here are some new pages I think are in pretty good shape as far as completeness goes. (Apologies to anyone if I missed something you worked on.) http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Hikaru_Yasumoto http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/The_Monkey_%26_Bamboo_Rake%E2%80%99s_Stolen_Items http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Calvados http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Gadgets http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Scar_Akai Although they are complete, I'm not sure these are appropriate because they're theory pages and may wind up being wrong. http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Akai_faked_his_death_theory http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Okiya_is_Akai_Theory http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Scar_Akai_is_Bourbon_Theory Close to being complete: i.e. still missing some things http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Black_Organization http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Fusae_Campbell http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Subaru_Okiya http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Nanatsu_no_ko

What is the connection between Gin and Sherry?

You can figure it based on what the FBI told Conan about Akai's mission. Akai started infiltrating the Org five years ago. He did so by becoming Akemi’s girlfriend in order to get close to Shiho and use her influence to get in. (Manga Volume 58, File 2, pg 9: "Akai's Past") According to the FBI’s description, Shiho was “a scientist for them” at the time. Furthermore this took place in Japan since everyone was speaking Japanese, Akemi lived in Japan, and the FBI bust two years prior to the current timeline was in Japan (607 pg 8). If Shiho is 18 now, she would be 13 at the time Akai started infiltrating the Org and she was already a scientist for them at this point and high ranked. My impression is that he is about the same age as Akai, barring extremely freaky aging problems like Vermouth's. -

No, I highly support AkaixJodie because it's comedic and cute at the same time. I don't mind AkaixAkemi, I just would rather see a slightly tipsy Jodie trying to stuff a birthday hat on Akai's head. (She would do something like that) According to the timeline, Shiho returned from America and was already a scientist for the Org by thirteen. At that age, in the dark and bloody world of the Black Organization, any reliable protective figure would be someone to cling to, and let's face it, she probably wouldn't have developed all the relationship savvy that normal girls her age would because she kept to herself, was probably with people completely out of her age group most of the time in America, and was focused on science studies. (I do hope though that any relationship between Gin and Sherry developed when she was several years older because it would be extremely creepy otherwise.) -
How about updating the featured article, song of the week, and the did you know section? It's been the same for about a month now I think. Maybe we can hold a weekly poll on what they should be or something like that?

The boss isn't going to name the organization after his last name or something. It will probably be some kind of reference or pun. That's how they've done things so far with names.

What is the connection between Gin and Sherry?

I've taken a major step towards my unintentional goal of being the AiCon most hated by other AiCons without having trolled anyone. http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Gin_and_Sherry (Actually, I'm pretty neutral as far as pairings go (except AkaixJodie), but I like to pretend I'm an AiCon. But then again no one cares.) -
Sounds like it might have come from something I wrote: http://forums.dctp.ws/index.php?topic=3518.msg117007#msg117007

Other Kudos, other manga, special abilities
Chekhov MacGuffin replied to sroesch's topic in Manga series
Shinichi Kudo does have a brain like wikipedia for random facts that are critical for solving cases and great observational skills and deductive ability. As for magical powers, he can switch between his child and teenage form with a little help. He has a stare/bad intentions sensor. He also gets bad feelings whenever someone kicks the bucket. You already mentioned the "always in the right place when a crime occurs" ability. He can also telepathically send messages to Ran and realize she is in trouble from a distance somehow. It might be though that Ran is the one telepathically doing the sending and receiving. Anything I missed? -
The other thing about the BO is they tend to appear in winter months. (with exceptions of course) This is probably because if they come out at any other time of year without air conditioning or lurking in shaded areas, they pass out from heat exhaustion. This is because their clothing is too thermally insulating: long sleeved black formal suits and a bullet roof vest on top of that. Only the female operatives are free to roam in warm daylight hours because they can safely escape the heat by wearing skintight catsuits.

You can always watch the recent changes which is listed on the left menu titled navigation: http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Special:RecentChanges If you click the blue diff button next to an edit, you can see what the person changed. Anytime someone edits, it appears here. You can apply filters to ignore your own edits for example. The other option is to add pages to your watchlist. You do that by clicking a page's watch tab which is one of the six tabs at the top like the edit tab. You can then click "my watchlist" which is on the upper right next to your username and talkpage and preferences and it will let you know if one of your watched pages has been edited recently.
