(I'm just going to say this to sum up: there are four bombs. There are also many fakes, which are more simple in construction. Also, the KID impersonator holds the trigger to explode the bombs remotely, so stop him and the bombs stop. So either disarm all the bombs or stop the impersonator. Oh, the impersonator has on the typical KID getup except he's also wearing a Noh mask. He also won't speak. He's on the roof.)

Actual plot relevant stuff in spoilers here! Here's also a conversation between two characters that I wrote up. What they say will likely come into play in the later chapters.
-
(Did you notice that Chris, Lilliam, Robert, and Kyoko were all asked the same question in their interviews, and they each gave a completely different response? This is actually plot-relevant, at least a little; it shows their respective alignments in relation to each other. I promise plot-relevant event today! )

(Status report. I'm not seeing much contribution from the following people: Bain Henry Gordan Also, the following people I understand to be on temporary hiatus: Rukia Kurosaki For the first two people, you will be kicked if I don't see any more contribution. Also, this round will last two months instead of the standard one month length; you probably won't miss the whole round. Regarding Rukia's role, I'll find a way to put her character on a bus for the time being [convenient timing, since that person is about to show up]. Just tell me when you'll be back, and we'll coordinate to put you back in the round. Also, Leiyu and Nara, please take conversations like that elsewhere. Story-related meeting will probably occur tomorrow? Haven't finished writing it yet. Finally: Minor poll up. The results of this poll probably won't really influence the story, but it might. Just a little. Or a lot.)

The round has now officially begun! For the purpose of keeping time, it's about 4 hours to midnight. Since it's summer, the sun's still up. This round will be kept in pace through chapters. I think there will be five chapters throughout this round. Chapters end when their objective is completed. And now, without further ado, I give you Chapter 1 of this epic: Chapter 1: Destruction Express "Destruction is the sweetest type of noise." - Lilliam Nevermore Song of choice: Time Limit Notes: "The elusive KID impersonator finally makes his long-awaited appearance! Bloody fireworks lead into a fierce chase! Can the DCWers keep up, or will they be left behind?" Objective: Stop a KID attack! Chapter 1 begins now! Here's a mini objective to get you guys started: Gather forces at the 109 Building. Remember that you have to complete mini objectives to move the plot along! I won't post anything plot-relevant until you complete this objective.

(I'm going to move everyone to the park. Yes, the same park Tsukiko was attacked.) "Excuse me...hello. Good morning." The skeleton man looked up at the sky, and noticed the sun was starting to descend. "Oh, it's...more like afternoon. Good afternoon, then." He noticed the tension present in the group, and raised a single hand to interrupt, "Please don't make any commotion." "Nobody but me can hear your screams anyway." You looked around, and once again, it seemed like everyone's attention was being directed away from you. Nobody took a second glance at the strange police officer or the group of foreigners. It definitely felt eerie, like you were invisible. Or a spell was cast over everyone's eyes. I can't really tell you why you guys did, but you decided to gang up on the police officer – he was, after all, hopelessly outnumbered. You moved in on him to take him down, and you began to realize the folly of your actions. The man effortlessly dodged every single attack you launched at him with movements too fine and acrobatic to come from that thin structure. He didn't land a single blow, almost as if he was trying to hurt you, but you couldn't land a single finger on him. "Ah," he sighed. "That was a waste of effort. I just wanted to tell you a few things you might want to know." Seeing as you were totally exhausted and attacking him would get nowhere, and calling for help was apparently useless, you decided to hear him out. "First, I do apologize for that attack." It was a rather dull apology, and if the guy didn't sound monotone all the time, you'd have taken it as an insincere one. But with the lack of emotion and expression, you couldn't really tell. "Second, there will be an attack on the 109 Building tonight by the KID. If you don't stop the attack or otherwise interfere, people will die during this particular attack." He paused, maybe to let you process the information. "Don't ask me how I know. I know everything." He paused again, a shorter one this time. "Naturally, I know that this entire group is comprised of people that frequent the same forum. You all are very interesting for that and other reasons. I guess...that's why I've been watching you this entire time, as well." He abruptly turned around, but then he turned his head back to look at the group. "The attack won't occur until midnight. Well, good luck, then. I wish you good luck...from the smallest portion of my heart." And once again, he disappeared.

(If you're going to show the card, don't mention the text. That's something I want to make some plot out of. Thanks!)

Kyoko Sasaki took a look around, then covered her next yawn with her hand. The motion made her star pendant swing from side to side for a moment, only to stop when her other hand reached to stop it. "Even though there's so many people, nobody here seems to care." She seemed to read Mari's expression for a moment, then sighed. "Look, I don't know what happened, but it seemed like something was intentionally diverting people's attention away from you two." She yawned again. This seemed to be a regular occurrence. She turned and pointed towards the direction of the restaurant Aster and several others happened to be in (though of course Mari and Tsukiko wouldn't know anything of that). "You aren't the only travelers here having a rough time. There's a group of them over..." and she briefly lowered her arm to cover yet another yawn. "Over there, yeah?" she finished. "I think it'd be best if you guys met up; it might stop something like this from happening again, yeah?" She turned her head to the side and mumbled, "But seriously, why'd he think to mess your leg up so bad?" Then her eyes widened as if she made a slip, and she waved her hands, a noticeably more energetic gesture that contrasted with the yawns she'd been given. "Anyways, you better head over there, Tsukiko...and Nara-chan." She made a dismissive gesture when asked how she would know that Mari frequented this one forum where her username happened to be Nara-chan, and responded thusly. "I* just happened to know." With that, she walked off in the opposite direction of where she pointed, yawning every so often. * washi (a Japanese pronoun typically used in Japanese media by elderly men, Definitely not a pronoun that a teenager or a young adult would use. Kyoko using it would sound rather odd. Trivia: Professor Agasa uses this particular pronoun.) ============================================================== (Hmmm, Kyoko seems to know more than she lets on. Or maybe she's just a stalker. Who knows for sure. Did she actually see the mysterious policeman? She claimed to see nothing, but then there was that slip...Who knows for sure. Whenever I typed that Kyoko yawned I yawned as well! It's seriously contagious!)

(Maybe the spell didn't affect you? I really can't say the reason, but you (and by extension other role-players) could but the passerby couldn't. And Kyoko Sasaki, for whatever reason. Oh, but Kyoko Sasaki didn't see the strange policeman. Keep that in mind when conversing.)
-
(^ KKLT, this isn't just passerby syndrome. There were no onlookers because no one could seem to be able to see the incident. It's not that they didn't want to see, they couldn't see it. In a way, it's like a spell of some sort. Could you amend your post to reflect this?)
-
(Four more days until the round officially begins and we get some actual plot rolling in here! I'd advise everyone to group up before the round begins. Anyone who doesn't...well, let's just say a few unfortunate encounters like Mr. Skeleton Policeman can happen to you, too! He doesn't like crowds, you know. Cheers!) (Well, that particular officer wouldn't have taken any amount of money anyway. So whether the post was blown up or not doesn't really matter.)

We can't post any links. Sorry, it's a rule.

The mysterious policeman's arm darted out and grabbed Tsukiko's leg, bringing her to the ground. His arm tensed and the sound of bones breaking was heard. The man stood up and dusted himself off, then looked wistfully at the two girls – though it was hard to discern his emotions with such a blank face. "Now you are really resisting arrest." He put his foot down on Tsukiko's apparently now broken leg, hard. "I was told...to bring you two there. I hoped you would come quietly." He turned to face Mari, but making sure to keep his foot on Tsukiko's leg. "Please don't push me any more than this...it's tiring." He pulled out a gun from his holster and aimed it at Mari. Looking around, there was actually little commotion. People didn't seem to notice the strange mysterious policeman or the girl on the ground with the broken leg. In fact, a couple just walked right along as you thought that, right next to the scene, and didn't seem to notice a thing. But then: "Hey! Are you two alright?" a voice called. The policeman didn't react to the sound, but returned his gun to his holster, and gingerly took his leg off Tsukiko. "Well...looks like I've done what...I can. I'll see you later, under friendlier circumstances." When you blinked, the man was gone, and the source of the voice was in front of you. "Name's Sasaki Kyoko. You," she said and yawned, "look like a mess." ( Bolded indicates English. Oh, and :V )
-
(I'm not going to bother with the whole Japanese / English thing, I'll just bold something if a chara happen to be speaking English.) "Excuse...me." A man wearing a police uniform walked up to Mari. His voice was dull and could lull a raging bull into a nap. His eyes, dead and beady. Skin, pale. Poor, lazy posture. "I* would...hmm, how would I have you two** come with me?" The man appeared in deep thought, but his eyes showed no sign of life; in fact, the only gesture he made that appeared thoughtful was putting a single hand on his chin. "You two...are under arrest for underage drinking and disturbing the peace." He raised one hand over the two's objections. "And resisting arrest. Will you...follow me to the station?" * boku ** kimi-tachi (:V)

Who will first to discover the BO in Police Force?

Sato almost caught on to the secret of "Sleeping Kogoro"; she's pretty sharp and observant. I also agree with the points for Takagi for the same reasons above. -
Banner art by Misaki-chan Synopsis: Characters: Signups: There is no limit to the number of role-players I will allow in this round. In other words, anyone can sign up. Also, there is no special signup process. All you have to do is signup by posting in this topic. Your first post should contain a character bio of some sort. Because this is a special round, I request your character be reasonably close to your actual self. I intend to cut off signups on June 15, 2014, 12:00 AM Mountain Time. This is around a week's time. No events will occur until this time, so the time between now and then should be used to acquaintance yourself with your fellow role-players inside the round context. In other words, meet up and hang out. Do stuff, speculate on whatever you'd like, but remember that no plot-related activity can or will occur until the round actually begins. EDIT: All signups are now closed. If you really still want to join, send me a PM telling me why you should be allowed to join. If your case is particularly pressing, then I will oblige. All standard DCW IRL rules apply. Roleplayers: - Nara-chan - Misaki-chan - Kaitou Kid Legendary Thief - Leiyu Magmatic Skyterror - Ren-kun - Rukia Kurosaki - Henry Gordan - Bain - Tsukiko - Rye

what could be the tittle and plot of the movie 19?
tengaku squared replied to yuiko kudo's topic in Movies and OAVs
I really want it to be a Van Gogh thing, like Akazora said. But teasers are such fickle things, you know? Can't hazard a guess with so little information.
