  1. "That won't do." Orchard was frowning, though whether at Erru or Lokar was unclear. "Look at this. Don't treat this girl like that. After all," she shot an ambigous look at Erru, "she's important to our operations." She pulled out an apple from her clothes and took a large bite out of it. Then she suddenly ducked in response to a bullet being fired. She stood up, and ran toward the one who fired the gun and hit him in the face. She wiped her hand on her clothes. "That's just rude." She then glided over to Erru, and stared into her eyes. "I knew you would be trouble the moment I saw you." She hit Erru on the neck, knocking her out, and slung her body over her shoulder. She looked down for a moment, then looked back up. "I've got to report this to the boss."
  2. (happens somewhere soon after Erru leaves) In. Out. Alright. When Mark came to, he realized Erru was gone. He remained on the ground, pretending to be unconscious. He took a moment to gather his thoughts. They weren't much. The breaking of one of the 'psycholocks' in his head did very little. His head stopped hurting, however. "If I got this straight, though, Erru's going to be in trouble." The hallucinations of Aeyra and the girl came back to him for a brief moment, then he thought, "I'll gladly trade Erru in for a bushel of apples, but following her around may be good." He moved his hand slowly towards his holster. He had to be ready to move when Ren, who he knew was looking over him, put down his guard. In a flash, Mark stood up and pointed his concealed pistol at Ren. The pistol was a diversion - Mark didn't plan to KILL anyone - for his arm that was reaching for Ren's neck. His arm cleanly hit Ren in the neck, knocking him out. He took off the coat he was wearing and threw it over the unconscious Ren. Then he ran to the Kurosawa Hotel, pistol ready but concealed. There was one other girl there. He heard her voice. Where did he hear that voice before? ============================== When he got there, he felt a rush of blood in his head. His head began to explode again, threatening to liberate itself from the prison known as the skull. Unlike last time, Mark managed to subdue the pain. He looked around. "Erru must've gone inside," he concluded. He walked inside, and admired the interior - for just a moment, of course. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Erru going deeper into the hotel. He sighed. This was so obviously a trap. He went another way, to the storage closet, hoping to find a spare uniform. There was, although it was a loose fit. He walked out of the closet, and followed Erru's tracks. He noticed the elevators. "Probably operated by a hotel worker. Not the best way to go up," he decided. Then he looked around. He was acting suspicious. Damn. A hand grabbed his shoulder, and Mark whipped around in shock. Then he relaxed, then tensed up again. It was the doctor from back then, but how? The doctor handed him a heavy bag, and signaled, "Go with it." Mark nodded, then walked with the doctor to the elevators. The doctor motioned to one of the floors, and the man in the elevator nodded. The elevator moved to the designated floor. Right when the doctor walked out of the elevator, and Mark confirmed there was no else around, he knocked out the elevator man, then pressed the button which led the elevator where a suite was. He scratched his head. "Where the hell is Erru anyway?"
  3. Any requests for information on the next round can be directed to me through PM.
  4. "It's not nice to steal." Orchard walked up to the broken vending machine, and put in several quarters. She picked up the vended water bottle and threw it to Erru. "Knowing him, he wouldn't want to be treated like that." She began to walk away, then said, "One more thing. Once he's fine, stay away from him."
  5. Jean's dark side is obviously the fact that she's a ninja.

  6. (This is of a past event) His eyes adjusted furiously to the bright light. He sat up and looked around. A doctor was looking at him intently. "Ah, a hospital. What the hell am I doing here?" he thought. He brushed aside his hair, which was intruding into his eyes and mouth. He cracked open his mouth, and asked, "What happened?" The doctor scratched his head. "I have as much of a clue as you do. Someone brought you here, bloody and beaten." He turned around. "You were a mess when you came in." Mark rubbed his eyes. "Who?" The doctor looked deep in thought, then replied, "I don't know, son. She looked like an angel from the sky, all dressed in white." Mark struggled to enter the image in his head. The doctor looked at him, with concern in his eyes. "You alright?" Mark winced in pain. His head was exploding with colors and shapes. "I will be," he managed to get out. He stood up, and the doctor tried to stop him. "You shouldn't be up!" Mark looked at the doctor. "I'm fine." He proceeded to the door, then halted at the doorknob. "How should I pay you?" The doctor shrugged. This person scared him, he had to admit. He emitted this aura, a sensation of darkness, of evil. "We'll handle that later." Mark nodded, then walked out the door. The doctor shouted, "Wait! You're looking for that girl, aren't you?" Mark leaned his head in the door. "I want to find out what she is." ============================ The moment he saw the chaos a spark in his head triggered. Then another. "This sensation...I've felt this before!" He crumpled to the ground. He felt his mind threatening to tear. The pain was unbearable. "Why...?" He heard the sound of chains breaking, and the shards burrowing into his mind. And then he was blinded by light. "Aeyra is..." Is what? He tried to force the knowledge, but it wouldn't work. He held out his hand, trying to reach for the white robed girl, all dressed in white. She turned around, revealing Aeyra's face. The girl then turned around and ran. "Wait!" He reached out again. He wanted to know who this girl was, he wanted to chase after her, he wanted to chase after the truth. The light faded. Mark was on the ground. Above him were two people. He looked up. "Erru...help." He felt the hands of sleep grabbing him. No longer having the energy to resist, he sank into unconsciousness. ============================ (My profile and my NPC) Mark Age: 24 "A young man dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge and truth. Was hospitalized after realizing the truth regarding Aeyra. His knowledge of this and the organization as a whole were mysteriously sealed. Mark refers to the 'seals' in his mind as 'psycholocks'. Mischievous and manipulative at heart, Mark is not above manipulating others for his own good. A trustworthy individual once Mark recognizes one as trustworthy themselves. It is difficult to earn Mark's trust. Mark comes off as cold on first encounters. Decent at hand-to-hand combat and firearms. A reckless driver, and a jack-of-all-trades." Orchard Age: 18 "The girl like an angel the doctor refers to and the one Mark is searching for. Part of the organization affiliated with Aeyra, agrees with the ideal being achieved but disagrees with the methods. A silent, collected facade conceals a general insecurity regarding her identity. Parents unknown, no known family. Her name was given to her by a 'special someone', which she wishes to find. Adept at first aid and support roles. Prefers not to fight, but capable of engaging in hand-to-hand combat. Insatiable hunger for apples."
  7. Clack clack clack. Mark kept typing away at his keyboard, deeply focused. "Where are you? Geez," he grumbled. The ground shook. Mark opened the shades to see what was going on. He was shocked to see huge clouds of smoke in the sky. "Really, can't I ever get some peace?" He turned around to the door, put on his jacket, and tucked in his pistol. He walked out the door, and towards the smoke.
  8. (I will never forgive myself if I didn't sign up) His body felt cold as he read the paragraph. He put his hands together, and put forward a trail of thought. "It's not like her to make a joke this extreme. I maybe would, but not her. Shit." He went over to 'Private Messages', and sent a message to those he trusted. It was short and simple, like he was when he was young. He grabbed his backpack, and put his phone charger, laptop charger, and his laptop inside. He walked out the door.
  9. It is first come, first serve. (Note: the stuff following consists of my views, not necessarily IdentityUnknown's) I disagree, but not because I don't want everyone to play, first of all. The reason is the complexity of doing so. First, how do we decide who gets to play and who doesn't? By the number of rounds they participated in? What if all those rounds were not next to each other? What if that round in particular was lackluster? How, indeed, do we decide? Even if we manage to decide a basic set of factors, the list would have to be updated frequently. Also, how many people should be given this special privilege? Say 8, the current established guideline. If all 8 people decided to invoke their power, they would effectively 'block' off a round not only for regulars, but for other fairly new people. If the number is too low, not only will not enough people be satisified, but the list would have to be updated more frequently than usual. I personally believe that there should be no reservations made for DCW IRL rounds under all circumstances (in fact, I've requested IU about this), but we already have MVRP. Do we really need more reserved spots? For every reserved spot, another person cannot join. My ultimate belief is that if you want to play, sign up quickly. And if you don't, it's tough luck. That's how life works, no?
  10. Bother bother bother~

  11. Help, I can't swim D:

    ...Anyways, how are you?

  12. This should obviously be a personal visit from me
  13. Ah heh, post it if you'd like. I disagree with the two above. The reason why there's been no activity here is mainly the fact that not a lot of good works are getting pumped out, which makes activity here slower, and then that makes good writing also fewer. By all means, post here. Don't expect a lot of attention at the beginning, however.
  14. #3. #1) My favorite Stage 1 Touhou boss is Minoriko Aki. #2) My favorite Touhou character is Sakuya Izayoi. #3) I have an unhealthy addiction to chocolate.
