Very popular, I hear, but I dunno if I should watch it.
This kinda sums up the reason why I don't watch popular anime and look for some more neglected gems.
Picked up Thunderstruck, and I'm looking forward to it. Also started Devil in the White City. Too much Erik Larson, but there can't be too much Erik Larson, IMO.
If I have to be a bit picky, then the perspective of depth seems a bit off. Also, because the picture's blurry, it actually kinda hurts my eyes to stare at it.
If you can utilize that coloring style that looks awfully like a kindergartner's marker coloring, maybe you could make something absolutely wonderful. The coloring style isn't necessarily bad, BTW.
The issue of outside help, or, and I'll jump a bit, 'cheating', is one of the main hurdles that I think we need to get over before this idea gets put into motion. And I'm not exactly sure how'd one manage to make sure no one gets such outside help.
