I agree with this statement 100%. What I was saying, however, is that I have seen several DC fanfics where people would write that Ai hated Ran. I remember one story where Ran was pregnant with Shinichi's child, and Ai tried to kill her because she was jealous????? IMO, it's so out of character, that sounds nothing like the Ai that's depicted in the manga or anime.

As what everyone said here, I believe that it is a rumor. A general rule of thumb that I use whenever I want to discern if it is a truth vs. rumor, always check to make sure it is a news article, and search for more than just one to make sure that the news article you happen to read is legit. There may be a time you may read a news article that is spreading a rumor but the rest of the news articles out there is saying it's a hoax.

Episode 34-35 I made the mistake to watch that episode at midnight at the age of 12. Yeah, I was scared Episode 345 when Ran jumped out of the trunk and ran to save Ai. I know this isn't an episode, but in Movie 13, when Conan turns around and sees Gin, I screamed! Episodes 491-504 Red Clashes with Black just was so intense and I don't want to spoil but for those of you who have already seen it: And I'll write more if I think of anything else.

Hey you guys! I want to hear your opinions about cliches in DC fanfics. Here are a few that I have noticed in a few fanfics: 1) Overdoing the shrinking thing (making a lot of people turn into little kids when the BO had no reason to go after them in the first place) 2) Ran is the damsel-in-distress 3) kogoro isn't very bright 4) Ran acting like she's okay when she finds out Conan's situation 5) Ai hating Ran and/or wanting to kill her

That would be a good theory actually. In the DC guidebook I got, they say that the boss is someone that Ai would not expect. But at the same time, I believe that guy only made an appearance in the 5th episode of DC, so IDK.

It would be kind of cute if we were called something like The Detective Children, which is a playoff of The Detective Boys. Another idea which would be super cute is if we called the boys in the fandom "Cool Guys" and we call the girls in the fandom "Angels" after the codenames that Shinichi and Ran are given. Conanatics is a cute name as well.

That is very true. And another hint that points that Agasa is not the boss, is that Ai would have been killed by Agasa if he found out. The BO doesn't take to traitors very well, and I believe that Agasa would have killed Conan because he could rat everyone out. But then again, there is also the side that he wouldn't kill them because it would be too messy. The one thing I love about DC is that there are so many theories in the series, it could go either way.

There are so many things that I have learned from DC. Some of them include: 1) To be more observant of my surroundings, and of interactions with people 2) I learned that cyanide smells like bitter almonds, and that the smell is so potent that it will drive dogs cray-cray 3) I learned that when you love someone, you will put their safety before anything else, even if that means lying to them 4) You have to make sacrifices for the people you love 5) If you have feelings for someone, go ahead and say something! Don't wait around... what if after a certain point you can't? Throughout my journey of watching Detective Conan, there were a few life lessons that I have taken from this manga/anime. 1. Don't take life for granted 2. Don't let your ego get to your head 3. If you care about someone, you will do anything in your power to make sure that they are safe and happy, even if it's at your own expense 4. Your true friends will have your back, even if they don't understand what you're going through 5. Follow your instincts 6. Expanding on #3, there are times you will have to hurt someone you love for their benefit. 7. If you're stuck in a bad situation, don't sit there and be "woe is me," make the best out of the situation while you figure out how to better things

Hey everyone, this is ranandshinichi4eva here. I just got access to my old account, so I'll be using this one for now on.

I think the boss is someone we wouldn't expect. I do not think it is James Black, because that is something we would expect. I think it would be someone, that when found out, would bewilder the audience. I'm talking like a Detective Boy, Dr. Agasa, Inspector Megure, or Yoko Okino, and that's a limited list. I doubt when the ending does air, it's going to be a short arc, like the one with getting Kir out of the hospital. I think it would be one with 50-60 episodes, maybe more, maybe less, but definetly more than ten. The following things I believe would happen: 1. Shinichi has a showdown with the men who shrunk him, and Anokata. 2. Kazuha and Ran would somehow be involved. 3. Kaito Kid may be chasing the same organization. 4. Ai gets killed, or she will forever remain as Ai Haibara. 5. Shinichi and Ran get together. 6. Heiji and Kazuha get together. 7. The Detective Boys sneak into the hideout. 8. There will be a huge, tension-filled scene where Shinichi tells Ran he was Conan the whole time. 9. Like Episode 345, there will be a lot of twists. 10. Shuichi Akai, if he hadn't already, comes back. 11. Kogoro is mad at Shinichi for using him. He does, however, get back together with Eri. 12. Some people will probably die.
