Steve Miller Band - Take the Money and Run -
Yep, that was based off of the manga.

http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/index.php?title=Baijiu&rcid=18599 That's the article. -
My gut has ALWAYS told me that it was actually a pilot for a future Magic Kaito series, hence the fact that they even made sure to get someone like Keiko a scene or two.

Detective Conan World's wiki is proud to announce that the 1,000th article has been created on the wiki!! We just want to thank everyone for supporting the wiki, whether it's through contributions, or by reading the wiki and letting us know what you think. Without your support, NONE of this would be possible, ever!

LOL, we have a winner!!

Contract negotiations didn't work out, and they didn't feel like negotiating anymore with him, so even though he said he would indeed take less money in the end to continue playing the role of Kogoro, they got rid of him.

Agreed. The Akai/Akemi sub-plot was one of the most fascinating and least explored parts of the series. I know that it works for his character that Akemi has passed on, but I would love for Gosho to re-introduce her in the series by figuring out some way to show that she's alive.

Great, obscure quotes!! The Yuki-onna one reminded me of how much of a cool case that was... And, gotta love Eisuke. I miss that guy. Can't wait for him to return, if he ever does...
-
Yes. I'm guessing you missed the big news on how the series is going to become a vaudeville variety hour. Who'd have thought Agasa had a singing voice that rivals the great Conway Twitty? Locked. The series isn't over; it's far from over.

I don't know. I personally don't see how it could "maximize" the impact when I doubt most fans are even gonna think like "OMG, he's never cried before!!" But that's just me.

Agreed, that was the biggest "WTF?" thing I've heard from Gosho. I wonder how he'd be used in Magic Kaito.
-
Really? That's quite interesting... that's one of my favorite ones.

I have the Inspector Gadget theme in my head. So, um... that. -
Indeed. How COOL is that, folks?
-
Oh man, that's hilarious.

My favorite is "Shoujo no Koro ni Modotta Mitai ni" by ZARD.

- American English. Fluent in this, of course. - Spanish. Moderate level. - Japanese. Forgot most of what I learned. ._.

Craziest thing about that picture now is that at the time, only 30 people were checking out the forum. Then, that'd be a peak. Now-a-days, I see normally 100+ people on here at once. What a difference a few months makes.

This is an old thread. Check the date of the person that posted that it was gonna be "The Battle of the Chessboard". Folks, you've gotta read the date of each post that is made, and not assume that the person made the post the second you came to visit. I'm locking this thread because it's useless to put up, now, since we have an official thread for this movie.

That's episodes 102-103, The Historical Actor Murder Case. http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/The_Historical_Actor_Murder_Case The dub version of this case has Chris Sabat as the voice of the killer, and he uses his Piccolo voice. It's hilarious hearing Piccolo break down in the end over how he had to kill his wife.

Oh, no apologies necessary. I tend to forget to post news in both the forums AND the Facebook, when I'm kinda supposed to do that. ^^;;;;;
