You'd be surprised how many people were against it. That's actually how I met Aka-chan and IU over at FFN. We got into creative discussion about whether or not self-inserts should still be against the rules. I actually got an essay from one of them that they planned on sending to the admins.

Well, I believe in their mission, and I'm glad other people do.
