  1. Bruh, get on my level, I've had everything I'm interested in memorized weeks in advance. (I'm sorry, I lied, I don't...)
  2. "Centuries" would make for a kickass Fate series AMV.
  3. The guest seiyuu for this movie is confirmed to be Kang Ji-young, former member of the K-pop group KARA and huge fan of Detetive Conan. She will be voice acting an art museum guide. While Korean, she is capable of speaking Japanese as demonstrated in her single Wanna Do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvEyyhcIxU4 Source to the news here. I'm not that into the K-pop scene, but I am familiar with KARA and am a bit of a fan of theirs. Pandora specifically is a catchy tune. It's nice to see Ji-young involved with DC, though having all of KARA or at least her perform this movie's theme song would have created even larger tsunami waves given how popular they are in Japan. Porno Graffitti is famous enough, so I'm not really complaining.
  4. Bad. Real bad. 0/10: would recommend to my enemies. There is a God. Wait... "for now"?! Pls stop. This amounts to harassment and I have the right to press charges.
  5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAAmkocOGwY Yooo, this English cover/remix of Parayste's opening is heavenly! (Now, if only AmaLee would cover some Fate songs...)
  6. Guilty Crown No one else is watching anime and it's making me sad... This anime was as much a Code Geass rip-off as I thought it would be. There were so many plot parallels, a lot of twists that should have shocked me didn't because it had already happened in CG. I still enjoyed watching it to an extent though. The philosophical parts were kind of corny, and there were a lot of plot holes, but like CG this anime was just something that you could turn your mind off for and be pleasantly surprised. The animation was really nice when it needed to be and the music by Sawano was pretty good. The directing was alright for Araki, though he's done much better with Death Note and SnK. All in all, Guilty Crown is just a tiny bit below average. Worth checking out if you liked Code Geass though.
  7. My hair is straight, wavy, or curly depending on the day, where along my hair you're looking, and where on my head that hair is. Ehem, I'll accept PayPal...
  8. Came to school late because of this newfangled PARCC assessment. And I get to arrive late again tomorrow and a bit the day after! This is good, I can catch up on sleep.
  9. Duude, that's... God damn. Mind donating me some?
  10. "Nothing's Gonna Change My Love" -- George Benson (Reminds me of the old cassettes my parents had.)
  11. Late to post this, but episode 23 wasn't really all that exciting. Harry's voice wasn't exactly how I expected it to sound, but whatever. I'm so glad MK1412 is almost over, this anime felt ridiculously slow.
  12. Foot binding, you know you want to.
  13. It was revealed in a quick teaser back in 2013 with absolutely no info given about it, other than the fact it would be for the Wii U. Since then, all fans have gotten was a "don't worry, we're working on it." You haven't missed much hype, don't worry. We also probably won't be getting much news on it until E3, so don't start getting excited too early.
  14. Remember when this was announced over 2 years ago? Me neither.

    Cute Culprits

A lot of male criminals in DC are just like those "cuties", so why should we pity the women exclusively and not the men as well?
  16. The animation is worse now. My guess is A-1's pumping money into the last episodes of Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso and Nanatsu no Taizai. Looks like we're getting Kaitou Corbeau Part 1 this Saturday and Part 2 the week after. RIP anime original ending...
  17. "She is a friend of my mind. She gather me, man. The pieces I am, she gather them and give them back to me in all the right order. It's good, you know, when you got a woman who is a friend of your mind." -- Sixo, from Toni Morrison's Beloved
  18. Well, could have been worse, right?
  19. "Wondering, pondering..." x "10 Years Later" is DCW's new OTP.
  20. Beloved by Toni Morrison I love this book to death. Words cannot describe this novel, I swear it's amazing. I was blown away by Handmaid's Tale over the summer, and while Beloved didn't have as strong or shocking an ending, the overall package was so poetic and so twisted I can safety say it's better than HT. It's impossible to explain what's so amazing about the book unless you read it. One of the best examples of how effective even a cumbersome language like English can be when put in the hands of a storyteller as talented as Morrison. (Do be warned though, the book is graphic and contains a lot of mature themes so tread at your own risk.)
