mfw 10-year-olds want more friends to text them late at night. If you're going to stay up late for anything when you're that young, it should be for documentaries and books and video games like it was for me.

Kino no Tabi Loved this anime. I didn't really know what to expect from it going in but I'm so glad I decided to give it a try. Episodic, haunting, and yet somewhat familiar and nostalgic, this anime really spoke to me in a way I can't describe. A very "Little Prince"-esque story with its own quirks, and something that definitely deserves far more attention than it receives. How this 2003 series I was on the fence about watching became one of my favorites, I will never know. There are a couple of short side story episodes that are out there, and I'll get around to them when I'm in the mood for more Kino. Hm, as for what I'll watch next, I don't really know. Guess I'll see what I'm in the mood for tomorrow.

You must be looking at the wrong stuff. People like Kagaya are gods in my opinion.

It's not the worst second season I've seen *ahem* Tokyo Ghoul Root A *ahem*. Tokyo Ghoul's second second gave my eyes cancer, and just this past episode it gave my eye cancer cancer.

Oh man, back in middle school I used to go the library all the time. I consumed a book a day; it was insane. Good times...

Hmm, you aren't exactly a novice anime watcher yourself then. If you're looking for something experimental and complex, I suggest Mawaru Penguindrum. It's not for everyone, but worth a try.

It can surprisingly very intense. Books will always have more content than movies, no two ways about it. There were a lot of things left out of the Fate/Zero anime from the light novel, despite how good it turned out to be anyway. I haven't experienced the Maze Runner series in any form, but I can imagine how fans of the books would recommend it over the movie.

Then that in itself is an inherent fault of the series, isn't it? Though I'd have to disagree; pretty much everyone in the series is playing his or her role perfectly, save for Ran. She's a bit of an oddball who's been dumbed down for the sake of extending the plot. In a long running story like DC's, you can't expect every single character to directly or even indirectly affect the plot. Is it not enough that Takagi knows Date who knows Amuro? His manga character was derived from an AO character anyway, so I'd say this is pretty decent plot involvement for a guy like him.

I remember reading that a couple of summers ago while traveling. Good times...

"The world is not beautiful; therefore it is." -- from Kino no Tabi (Ohoho, this anime has potential...)

You've come to the wrong place...

Big Hero 6 wasn't enough for you? Granted, I haven't even seen that movie yet, but still...

Fate/Zero If you like it, move on to Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (TV).

Hot cocoa, if that counts.
