Ordered a Mario Kart 8 Wii U Deluxe Bundle and pre-ordered the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Bundle and my soul isn't strong enough to wait for this.

I had to Google what a BBM Pin was, and once I learned what it was I don't think I'm ready for that kind of commitment. Oh yeah, and I don't have a BlackBerry, so wrong...?

"I am leaving on a journey. Don't look for me." -- Trick Master (Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald) I swear, when I see this guy in the remakes I'm going to start crying. I don't know why this part gets me every time.

Edge of Tomorrow ^completely different from the manga, and I'm not sure which one I like better; both have their own strengths and weaknesses

What Was the Last Song You Listened To?
Akazora replied to CarpetCrawler's topic in Music, Movies & TV
No one song in particular, but a bunch of stuff by Pogo. Nick Bertke is one amazing guy, goddamn. -
Some of the last bits of my Halloween candy. And smoked salmon for breakfast...

[insert my 11/10 photoshopped image from the chapter discussion thread here] Is Haibara Gosho a Monster Hunter fan then? This needs to be asked at an interview; it's a matter of great importance.

The 49th ending theme for the anime series has been announced to be "Kimi e no Uso" (君への嘘, Lie to You) performed by utaite Valshe, who had previously sung the 37th opening for Detective Conan, "Butterfly Core". The ending will premier in January, but the exact date and episode has not yet been determined.

Like a lot of others, I'm expecting and hoping for Rum to be more of what Gin used to be. No, that's not quite right. If we had to describe Gin as the cold blooded and calculating type, then it would definitely be interesting to have Rum be the cold blooded violent type. When Gin would hesitate and think things through, Rum would have instead shot first and asked questions later. Adding a character like that to the series, given we're nearing the climax, would definitely add a legitimate sense of danger and urgency I feel we've been lacking in the series throughout. And though Gosho doesn't kill off major recurring characters, it would be nice to have Rum be an outlet for that kind of stuff to happen (could just be wishful thinking on my part).

That's actually a side to the argument I never considered; only really ever thought of the "overpopulation" aspect of it. Not really feeling my "cure cancer" theory anymore either, unless the drug had some kind of crazy side effect. Like the offspring of those cured grew up to be super regenerating humans with enough brain capacity to take down the entire Black Organization in their sleep, or something impossible like that.

[SPOILER DISCUSSION] File 909-912 (Nagano's Kamaitachi case)
Akazora replied to Chekhov MacGuffin's topic in Manga series
Wait, haunter or hunter? -
Like Kenzi, I sleep around 4-5 hours, sometimes less when I'm busy and sometimes more when it's the weekend. Also, I pulled my first all nighter in fourth grade at the grand age of 10 when I played Pokemon Pearl and lost track of time. And old habits die hard.

I've put your quote in spoilers to cut back on the space we're taking up. We've also kind of strayed off topic, but this thread has always been slow, so I don't think there's any real harm in it. My thoughts on chaining below: I was completely clueless about natures and EVs and IVs for the longest time. Just like you, I found it to be annoying to have to worry about when all I wanted to do was have fun and play Pokemon, but I do EV train Pokemon I'm especially fond of. I also competitively raise Pokemon for Battle Towers and other facilities, mainly in my Pearl version though. I'm just either really stubborn or really stupid or a mix a both for soft resetting. If you ever want to start, I suggest you try SRing for the HGSS starters. It's the only game where you can tell if they're shiny before you pick them from the Pokeball, so you can scroll through them all to check if one of them turned up shiny. It increases your chances by 3 fold, so it's about 1/2730 chances now. If you're looking for a shiny and don't care which starter you get, it's also kind of fun since it's almost like a lottery. You can then take that shiny and solo run the whole game or something. I also hate the Safari Zone and pairing up, but what made it worse was that it was part of the plot and there are no avoiding it! Gah, I can't believe my luck. I just tell myself it must have had a terrible nature and IVs to make myself feel better. I also used GTS to complete my National Pokedex! I've only ever completed it in Pearl, because it was my first game and I owed it that much at least. Completing the Natdex was crazy, in both a good and bad way. I did it completely legitimately too, obtaining event Pokemon through friends who had them. I had a huge list of everything I had yet to obtain, and crossed them off as I went. It's really fun to scroll down the Pokedex and see every Pokemon with colored in Pokeballs next to their names and sprites. Because of that I have a gold trainer card, and I'm working toward a black one, the final color. I just need to win 100 in a row at the Battle Tower but it's really hard. I've only ever gotten up to 64 and even my EV trained Internet recommended team can't get me where I want to go. I may have to rethink my strategy and make a completely new team... My thoughts on RNG abusing below: Oh my gosh, sorry for typing so much, but as you said it's really exciting to find someone so much like me! (how are we not on the next page yet?)

I'll reply to it, since I actually have something to say... I feel like there are a lot of fanbases like this for a lot of different things. If somebody doesn't like something I like, and they present their argument logically, I'm cool with that. I'm not one to defend my interests to the death or anything. What really ticks me off is when, as you say, people try to shut down your argument by calling you "stupid" or "clearly blind/deaf" or by saying you have "**** taste", as it can get really annoying. Everyone's opinion is up for debate; there is no one right answer. People who think there is a clear cut yes-no when it comes to something as wishy-washy and petty as "best band", "best video game", "best movie", or "best anime/manga" are the ones that need to take a couple of big steps back and chill out. Now, I do feel kind of bad for saying this now, considering Lovestruck doesn't seem to be around anymore, but she was waaaaaaaay out of line in her posts on this topic a page back. Not cool at all and I hope she's come to be at least somewhat accepting of other people's opinions now.

I really want Majora's Mask 3D! Oh, but before that, I need Alpha Sapphire. And Super Smash Bros for Wii U, along with Mario Kart 8. Ah, and when Xenoblade Chronicles X and Splatoon come out... Dammit Nintendo senpai, I only have so much money!!

^You're thinking of this quote, right?

Hang on, that's actually not so bad. Have I been so deprived of sleep that five and a half hours seems like a good amount?! I need to think long and hard about what's important in my life...
-
Wow, you must have been reeeeeaaaallly tired last night...

Majora's Mask 3D is happening and I'm so happy I could cry.

I've seen this today as well. When I first looked at it, I didn't see much difference in the graphics, but then I took a closer look at it, and the graphics looked great. I asked my brother if he was going to get the game since he already has Ocarina of Time 3d which came with his 3ds, which he got for Christmas back in 2011; and he said "I don't know, maybe..." That usually means a 'yes', so I'm sure he'll be interested in getting it.

Ah, I see, I'll admit BSB have pretty catchy songs. My sister used to listen to them a lot, so it reminds me of when I was younger. Such a chill guy!

What the actual what? I don't want to say the film industry is in a bad state, because it's not, but there are times when it takes many steps back. And this is one of those times.

While there's nothing wrong with guys liking boys bands, I do have to say it's rather intriguing that a guy would "always" like boy bands. Boy bands usually sing songs touting their love for girls, meant for girls. It would be like a girl saying they always enjoy listening to songs in which a cute group of female idols confess their feelings to the listener. I've always put my money on Balthazar being a guy though. Hm, you've gotten me thinking...

Speaking of this s-b11119 guy, where did he go? Ever since I deduced what his name meant he's been MIA.

This is a thing?! I must have it!
