But I'm guessing big ShinRan fans find it a lot more moving or exciting when you throw in some Shinichi and Ran flashbacks and whatnot. They don't care whether or not it's canon, as long as they have it.

Just read it, not much of a mystery has developed (at least, nothing to speculate on yet) and the Chiba and Miike action isn't all too hot yet. We'll have to wait another chapter to see something possibly a tad bit more exciting. -
We need more M-7 type movies with better drama and mystery. I don't mind the Heiji and Kazuha pairing, but it really annoys me when they both appear for comic relief and nothing else.

This new chapter seems to be really interesting! I'm glad both Chiba and Miike are back! There's definitely going to be some sort of plot development as far as the police are concerned. Can't wait! -
I'm not exactly a fan of Akako, but I don't hate her either. She's just another character in my eyes. I would have been happier of there was a Snake appearance, considering he's never been in any MK episode yet. But I guess I'll just have to wait patiently for that day.

Agree with Parkur and Spectra and AJ M. I'm not saying Anokata is the greatest criminal (we don't even know who Anokata is yet), but I definitely don't think Kaitou Kid should even come close to a BO member. Shows just how much more people care about a flashy white clad magician than they do about the actual story plot.

The final chapter finally came out, and it concluded this mystery just as planned. The culprit was caught and the questions behind the Mouri imposter have been cleared. As expected, no major twists or cliffhangers at the end. We'll just see how the next case goes and I'm hoping for some more plot development before we hit the big double oh in a few months (just in time for winter!).
